A Phantomhive Means Business
Izumi had found herself heading to U.A. to watch the spectacle of students that would enter.
She was wearing long green hair in a bun worn on top of the head with partially tented wavy bangs on the right of the head and several, small loose strands. Atop her head is a dark purple top hat. There is a lighter purple bow on the hat with a rose attached to it, while three big feathers come from behind the hat. At the bottom the hat gets more wide and has a yellow strip of fabric, and white frills. There is a white bumpy pattern near the top.
Her outfit is composed three pieces: a white, frilly, European long-sleeved shirt, with frills at the cuffs and chest area. The skirt is composed of a Purple corset with red bows. Several gold chains are attached to the skirt. The skirt is a mermaid tail type with various gold patterns at the bottom. Draping around her shoulders is a dark purple cloak with floral designs covering it in a slightly lighter color. Crimson lines the scalloped trim, and at the neck is a bow where a single rose is sewn, accented by thin gold chains.
Finishing her outfit are a pair of Purple shoes with gold borders and a rose.
By her sides are Sebastian and Claude as they both hold a briefcase in one hand.
Approaching the building she found a guide.
"Excuse me. We are here to monitor the U.A. exam." She told the officer, who was a little surprised.
But after showing him her pass, he let them in.
-----------------------
Entering the designated observation room, Izumi sat at a place with enough room to move around in.
By the time, the teachers came in the observation room, Sebastian set up a table with various fancy mini cakes, pastries, and three different teas brewing.
"Ah! Did we get a new staff member?" The one known as Present Mic asked.
"Somewhat. She will actually be a student aide." A chimera creature said as he walked to Izumi as she stood up from her seat.
"Thank you for responding to my invitation, Miss Phantomhive. I'm the principal of U.A., Nedzu."
"A pleasure, Nedzu. Oh, I've had Sebastian prepare refreshments for everyone here. And a selection of three different teas." Izumi nodded to her butler.
"I can offer a selection of either Lady Grey, Green Tea and Jasmine, or Chai Milk Tea." Sebastian bowed.
"Well, at least I won't be the only female observing everything." Midnight, smiled as she sat down with Izumi.
She also noticed the China dishware looked really expensive. "Wow, are these antique dishware?"
"You have a good eye. Their Florantine Gold Wedgewood, from Covent Garden." Claude said as Nedzu was already helping himself to the Green Tea and Jasmine.
"Oh! This is excellent! I've never had tea this good!" Nedzu smiled.
"Glad to hear." Izumi nodded.
Among the people staring at the scene in surprise, there was a certain male with scraggly Yellow hair and he looked like a human skeleton than an actual person. For some reason, it was more of the butler who put him on edge.
Then the screens came up.
"Oh! The test is starting."
"Looks like a lot of promising students this year. However they won't know how many robots there are or where they will come out." Cementoss said eating a cherry danish.
"There are those who can assess the situation in an instant” Vlad King said as On the screen was a boy that seemed to be growing ears and eyes out of the tentacles on his sides.
“Those who will never be late to the party,” Snipe said as a screen showed the square glasses kid running into the robots.
“Those who can adapt with any given situation,” Recovery Girl said as she spotted A girl taking out a metal pole from her arm took down a one pointer.
“And then there are the natural born warriors,” Midnight said as another screen showed a certain blonde male hitting everything in site with explosions.
'So, it looks like he'll make it here.' Izumi thought as she saw Bakugou, still as authoritative as ever. 'Although, a school like U.A. won't be easy for him. Sebastian did tell me he's been dominating his class through intimidation and force, yet because of his grades, the teachers often praise him. Probably because Aldera wants the honor of producing a famous hero. He's also become highly ambitions. Not only is he planning to surpass All Might, but he aims for wealth. But U.A. is considered the cream of the crop to producing pros. No doubt there will be someone stronger than him, and he'll end up biting more than he could chew if he doesn't pace himself or keep his temper in check.' Izumi thought. 'The question right now is, is he worthy enough to be here?'
-----------
After watching certain students take out 3 zero pointers, including Katsuki, Izumi looked over the results as she arranged where the hero students should be in 1A and 1B.
'I shouldn't play favorites but both classes need an even balance of offense and defense. Pro, support, and rescue.' She then found a certain name.
Todoroki Shoto.
If Izumi remembers, he's the youngest son of the Number Two hero, Endeavor. And currently, the range of his abilities are unknown.
Hm. If he was in the 1A class from recommendations, along with the level headed Yaoyorozu Momo, and the younger brother of Ingenium, Tenya Iida, it would make sense to have them in the same class with Bakugou.
If she was lucky, he'll learn some humility from a few losses.
Looking over more names, she found another name that she believes can be included.
Shinso Hitoshi.
While his quirk is brainwashing, Izumi saw it as a helpful quirk. A mind in set, she put Shinso down, 'has potential as a support/rescue hero' as a 1A student as he got a good 65 rescue points.
-----------------
Nedzu looked at the two lists of 1A and 1B and he seemed to be pleased. "My Phantomhive, you really have covered all the students and took them into consideration."
"Of course, they need to be a combination of offense, defense, support and rescue as if they are one team. Who knows when they'll need it." Izumi said with her hands steepled.
Nedzu agreed with her logic. "Alright then, arrange the Acceptance Letters to the students, and let's prepare for the new semester."
As Izumi, Claude and Sebastian were leaving, the latter thought that they were being followed.
"YOUNG PHANTOMHIVE! IVE FOUND YOU!" A loud voice.
The Number One hero, All Might appeared in his glory, only to surprise Izumi, nearly making her fall over if it weren't for Sebastian catching her.
"All Might, please don't ever do that again. You almost gave me a heart attack." Izumi said.
"Ah, sorry. Well, I would like to say I look forward to working with you. I'll be teaching Foundational Heroics and I learned you'll be a teacher's aide with Snipe, Power Loader, Thirteen, Midnight, and Me."
"Of course, now, I'll be heading off. I'll see you within a month." Izumi nodded with a neutral look as she and Claude and Sebastian left for their car.
"Uh......Miss Phantomhive is not much for small talk..." All Might said only to be found by Nedzu, Recovery Girl, Midnight and Ectoplasm.
"Dutchess Phantomhive will be a big help to our school, even if it is for only three years. After all, not only did the Queen of England herself recommend her as an aide, Hawk-Eye backed up her claim." Nedzu said.
That got their attention.
"Hawk-Eye?! As in Dracule Mihawk 'Hawk-Eye'?! The former Villain Assasin?!" Midnight asked.
"I've heard of him too. Currently, he holds the title as the Swordsman Hero and the Strongest Swordsman in the World. Not even any of Japan's sword users come close to his skills." Recovery Girl said.
"So what does he have to do with Phantomhive?" Ectoplasm asked.
"It's simple. He was her Swordsmanship teacher since she was 5."
That shocked All Might so much it made him deflate. Thankfully they were inside the Teacher's lounge and no one else was around.
"He was her mentor?!" Midnight asked. "Man, she must've been lucky to learn from him."
"And before you think, Izumi is actually the same age as the Freshman here. She's ran Phantomhive since she was 5 after her parent's deaths."
That got Toshinori's attention.
"Her parents are gone?"
"Sadly, yes. It was known as the Phantomhive Massacre. Some of the staff were also killed protecting the late Hisashi and Inko Phantomhive. Their child was supposed to be a secret until a traitor in the family wanted the family title. Thankfully he was captured and tried." Nedzu said. "With the help of her servants, Izumi has been not only running Phantomhive successfully, but she's expanded the family buisness greater than any of her predecessors. Have you heard of Funtom Corporation?"
"I have. It's a British Company that specializes in toys and candy, right?" Ectoplasm asked.
"Originally Yes, but she has the company expand into technology, casinos and hotels, jewelry, sustainable food industry, their own branch of retro diners and soda shoppes, and even a branch of the wine industry, healthcare, clothing, eyeglasses, and lately they went into antiques." Nedzu smiled.
"Wow, that is a major jump!" Thirteen said.
"Of course, the Phantomhives are one of the Seven Great Families and the name has survived for 700 years." Nedzu said shocking the staff members.
"Wait, if her file said she's a prodigy and already graduated, why is she acting as an aide?" Toshinori asked.
"Well, she didn't really have a childhood, so why not let her spend 3 years here? It is the Queen's request of course."
Toshinori felt uneasy about this.
Especially with Claude and Sebastian.
There was something about them that made him nervous.
------------------
A month felt really slow for Izumi as she mostly read over her materials and saw the sites during that time.
Now she was in her car with Sebastian heading for the School Orientation.
Now she was dressed in a knightly outfit resembling a British Soldier's.
It was composed of an Ornate green top with intricate collar and cuffs and golden accent, White trousers with black stripes down the sides, Black long boots folded down in green at the top, an Intricate brown belt decorated with golden ornaments, An elegant white cape with golden accents and tassels and black and white gloves.
The two headed for the room waiting for orientation to see some teachers chatting.
"Looks like Aizawa's going to put them through the Quirk Test already."
"How many will he expell this time?"
Izumi frowned at this. Back in England, it was damaging to miss an orientation.
"My lady, would you like to for me to set this straight?" Sebastian asked.
"........No, actually. I'll go get them myself." Izumi gave her infamous Devil Smile. "Sebastian, man my post. I'll be quick."
"Of course, my lady." Sebastian bowed.
However, as the orientation was about to start, Nedzu made an announcement.
"Hello students! However, before we start orientation, I have an announcement to make. U.A., for the next three years, will play host to Dutchess Izumi of the Phantomhive Family, our new teacher's aide. While she is not here at the moment, I would like to turn your attention the screen to get an idea how strong a Phantomhive can be." Nedzu said as the background showed Izumi, Aizawa and Class 1A at the training ground.
Sebastian did not expect this, but smiled. These children should know what facing a Phantomhive is like.
---------------
Finding 1A, she sees Aizawa announcing that those who fall in last place will be expelled.
That's when Izumi made her appearance known.
"Aizawa." The entire class turned to see Izumi there in her Regal outfit.
"Nedzu is expected every class to attend Orientation. I'm sure this would be out of line."
"It's our responsibility to teach the class however we want, so we have more freedom."
"I'm sure, but I've learned that you have a tendency to expell students for almost no reason, when they still have much potential. No wonder I've read that some of them turned to villiany, Eraserhead." Izumi said, surprising the students and Aizawa.
"Mr. Aizawa is Eraserhead? The Underground Erasure Hero?" Momo asked.
"I've heard of him. He can erase people's quirks by looking at them." Iida explained to his fellow students as Aizawa and Izumi had a little verbal argument.
Among the students, two in particular, Denki Kaminari and Minoru Mineta had less than innocent thoughts about Izumi.
"Whoa, on a scale of 1 to 10, she'd be a 20." Kaminari said.
"So curvy...." Mineta muttered.
Catching that, Izumi gave a cold glare at Kaminari and Mineta, then at Aizawa. "This is suppose to be a quirk apprehension test correct?" When he gives her a nod she goes on to say, "Then as the old saying goes; 'lets kill two birds with one stone.'"
"Hm?" Aizawa asked.
"If any of your students can beat me, a quirkless girl, we'll continue the test. If not, the class goes to orientation." She said surprising the class.
Aizawa was surprised at this, but figured it would be over quickly.
"Very well, but don't complain afterwards." He said, then looked over at the students.
"You heard her, show what you can do."
"Wait, without real training!?" Kaminari asked.
Mineta on the other hand saw it as an opportunity to prove himself to the girls in the class, and try to cope a feel on Izumi.
"Since she's quirkless, I'll go easy." He said, only for Izumi to zoom past him, and with her speed, used Daggers to pin his pants to the ground. Quickly taking him out.
"Hey, Kaminari! Why aren't you attacking her?!" Mineta yelled.
"Hey, I can cover my body with electricity, but if I shoot it out, it'll go everywhere! Or do you want shock treatment?" Kaminari defended.
"Hesitation, underestimating the enemy, not even knowing hand to hand combat. Can't assess the situation. A lot of problems to resolve if you want to be heroes." Izumi said as she threw Kaminari over her shoulder and pinned him to the ground.
"Ow! OK, I give, give!" Kaminari yelled.
Then before the Class knew it, Izumi had been avoiding their quirks, while kicking or punching them off the field.
Those that surrendered were Koda, Tokoyami, Tooru, and Asui.
Toward the end, the only two left were Katsuki and Iida, using their quirks to speed toward her, but once Izumi knew they were at a distance that they couldn't stop, she merely dodged resulting them crashing into each other.
Aizawa sighed. Not what he'd expect from Izumi, but then again she's a Phantomhive and no one crosses a Phantomhive.
However, while he was surprised, he was impressed. At least she had a good idea of what to do. 'So that's how a Phantomhive fights....and it was probably the tip of the spear.'
"Well, this settles it. Everyone better get dressed quickly. Orientation starts in 15 minutes." Izumi said getting everyone's attention as they scrambled to get there on time.
---------------
Back at the auditorium, students and staff were gaping in shock.
They reminded themselves not to mess with Phantomhive.
So as 1A made it to orientation, Nedzu started the announcements.
