Chapter 7: Please, Stop! Please, Don't Do This!
*3rd Person POV*
(the pic above is a concept art of what Abby was supposed to look like. I know it kinda looks like Tess but it is Abby. So in my story, she looks like this but with the blonde hair she has in the original game.)
Meanwhile, in a cabin just outside of Jackson, a group of people were all asleep in their sleeping bags, including one woman named Abby. Abby wakes up with a gasp then sits up and catches her breath as she felt like she ran a hundred miles.
She pulls up her knees and places her arms on her knees then runs her hands over her face. That damn nightmare keeps haunting her, that night just won't leave. The night where her father and her friends were slaughtered by those hunters.
Ever since that night, she had vowed vengeance for her father and her fallen friends. Soon after that night, she had started to track down those hunters, particularly the two she remembers.
Joel and Tommy.
She was able to lure a few hunters but they said they had never heard of those names, so of course she killed them anyway. About three years later, she found some hunters that recognized the names but said that those two men left the group a few months back.
Dead end.
Abby was beyond annoyed and pissed that she had lost track on them but she never gave up. Owen, Jordan and Leah would help her out anyway they could as they tried to track down any leads that they could but it also lead to dead ends.
Then they had found a new home in Seattle with a group called the Washington Liberation Front, or the WLF. The four friends were very appreciative that Issac, the leader of the group, had let them in as here there was food and shelter.
As the years went by, Abby and her friends helped out the WLF as much as they could since the military group was fighting another faction called the Seraphites, or Scars as they call them. Fighting and killing the Scars did keep Abby's mind occupied but the thought of revenge on Joel and Tommy still played on the back of her mind, mainly against Joel as he was the one who pulled the trigger.
Unfortunately, there were no other leads for a long time until about a year ago. A woman named Mel had joined the WLF and she told Abby that she used to run with the group called the Fireflies. She told them she used to be a medical assistant to them in Salt Lake City at the St. Mary's hospital.
There she told them that the head surgeon had tried to develop a vaccine from this boy, who was immune to the Cordyceps. "Tried?" Abby asked, confused, and Mel nodded then told her that a crazy old man had burst into the operating room, killed the surgeon and took the boy away and then killed Marlene, the leader of the Fireflies.
Abby asked her if they found the guy and she told her that no they haven't. All she knew was that the man's name was Joel and he had a teenage girl that helped him on getting the boy out.
Upon hearing the man's name, Abby immediately started asking questions about him. Mel couldn't give much as she didn't know much about him but she knew that he had a brother named Tommy who was a former Firefly. Then Mel told her that Tommy mentioned being a hunter but he left that life behind. She added that he left the Fireflies almost ten years ago and the last she heard was that he was in a settlement in Wyoming.
Since then Abby had gathered all her friends and decided that one day they will make their way to Wyoming. She told Issac about her past and what happened and told him about hunting down the men that were responsible for the death of her father. She asked if her and her crew could make their way to Wyoming but Issac refused.
He told her he didn't want to risk losing so many members while they were in a middle of a war with the Seraphites. Angry, Abby huffed and walked out of his office. She told her friends the bad news but she said that she will find a way to make it to Wyoming.
And after months of planning, Abby was able to convince her friends to head out to Wyoming and lied to Issac, saying that they were gonna go out scavenging for any sort've weapons and it might take awhile. Issac agreed on that and gave them a working military truck.
So Abby, Owen, Jordan, Leah, Mel, Manny, Danny and Nora all loaded up and started to make their to Wyoming. And that's how they ended up in this cabin just a day ago.
Abby sighed as she runs her hands over her eyes then stands up. She looks over and sees Owen standing by the window and she walks over to him. "Hey." She greets. "Hey." He replied back as she goes to stand next to him.
"What were you dreaming about?" Owen asked her. She folds her arms across her chest then looks at him. "Was I talking?" She asked. "You were doing your teeth grinding thing." He replied and Abby turned her head away in embarrassment for a moment. But then she noticed he had fresh snow on his shoulder.
"Where've you been?" She asked, curiously, as she wipes away the snow off of his shoulders, which was in the process of melting. He stares at her for a moment then looks down before turning back to her again. "Grab your gear. I wanna show you something." He said as he steps away.
"What?" She asked.
"Trust me." He said and he walks off. She sighs then goes to grab her stuff and puts on her jacket.
Later, the two walk out of the cabin and the two began to walk along the white snow. "This way." He said. "It's cold. You sure you don't want to do this when the suns out? And when it's warmer?" She calls out to him. "No. Can't wait." He said. "And you just don't want to tell me?" She said, slightly annoyed. "You need to see it." Owen said and the two walk for a few more miles.
Finally he brings her to a cliff and points out ahead of him. "Right there." He said and Abby walks up next to him to see a large settlement just across from them and under the large mountains ahead. "Holy shit. It's a fucking city." Abby said, her heart pounding in her chest.
This had to be it! She was so close now that she could almost taste it.
Owen watches her as she starts to shake a bit and her breathing became shallow. "Abby?" He asked and she looks up at him. "I-I'm fine." She said and she takes a deep breath then slowly let's it out.
"Have you told anyone else?" Abby asked him. "Wanted you to see it first." Owen replied, shaking his head. "Saw an armed patrol go from town to an outpost, over there." Owen said as he points off to his right and Abby looks to where he is pointing, which was an old ski lodge.
"Few more outpost in between. They have electricity, guns...it's alot of people." Owen said then he gives a worried look towards Abby. "We can figure it out." She dismissed. "Okay. Assuming they're in there, how do we get to them?" He asked and she starts to fidget in place.
"We can corner one of the patrols and get confirmation and then, I dunno, maybe find a way to lure either of them out." Abby said and Owen scoffs. "Yeah, sure. I'm sure they'd be happy to give that information out." He said, sarcastically. "Well then we make them." Abby said and Owen laughs.
"Do you hear yourself?" He asked, disbelief. "Okay, what do you wanna do?" She asked, annoyed, and Owen scoffs. He looks out towards the town for a moment before he looks back at Abby. "When everyone else sees this, they're gonna wanna turn back." Owen said and Abby looks back at the town, longingly. Almost like the prize was right there and it was just out of her reach.
"Look, Abby, I want what you want but not at any cost." Owen said and Abby sighs then shakes her head. "Okay. Let's head back to the lodge. See what the others say." Abby said and the two head back to the cabin.
*(y/n)'s POV*
Tommy, Daniel and I trot along through the creek as we scan the area for anything suspicious. "So far, so good." Daniel mutters as we looked over the untouched white snow. "Yeah but still. Keep your guard up." Tommy orders as he gets ahead of us.
"I saw you and Elliot talking again." Daniel said. "Yeah. He actually came by last night and talked to me and Joel." I said and Daniel nods. "I think we're starting to get back on good terms." I said. "You think you two will get back together?" Daniel asked and I shrug. "I don’t think so...after the argument we had a couple years ago...I don’t think we’ll ever be a couple again. Friends, maybe. But a couple..." I said and Daniel frowns a bit.
"Ah man. I was hoping you two get back together, make me have hope in love again." He said, in a joking manner, and I chuckle. "Sorry to crush your dreams." I said and Daniel laughs. “I’m serious though, everyone’s been worried about you both. They're also sick and tired of having to hang out with you two separately. I mean, what happened so bad that you don’t wanna be near each other?” Daniel asked and I frown and turn my head away.
"It's...it's complicated." I replied. “You know, he kinda still cares about you...in a way. I saw the way he looked at you from the distance. Hell, even my sister saw it but we both knew it was best not to bring it up without pissing him off. I think somehow, he really wants to be with you, couple or not.” Daniel said and I scoff.
“Don’t get my hopes up, Dan. You and I both know that’s not gonna happen...I’ll believe that when I see it myself.” I said and Daniel smirks.
"Heads up, kids." Tommy said and we come up to him. We come up to this car and see what used to be a moose. I say used to as it was torn apart, almost unrecognizable. "Looks fresh." I pointed out as the warm blood from the mouse was melting the snow surrounding it.
"Yeah." Tommy said, suspiciously. "Doesn't look like an animal did this." Daniel said and just at that moment we hear familiar screeches. "Found our culprits." I joked and we jump off of our horses and walk up to this abandoned building.
We make our way to the building and enter it, sneakily. We look and see some infected as they twitch and walk around. I look over at the boys and we nod and head up to the infected and take them out, stealthy.
"You kids okay?" Tommy asked after we take out the infected. "Yeah." I said. "All clear." Daniel said and Tommy nods. "Okay. We're almost to the lookout. Probably a couple more hours." Tommy said and we nod and head back to the horses.
"Man, that went smoother than I thought." Daniel said, breathless. "Have all routes like that gone as smooth as that?" He asked. "Sometimes. But I'd still keep your guard up. Whenever there's a few infected around, there's always more nearby." Tommy said.
We continued on through then found this old store building. "Probably should check this out, could be supplies inside." Tommy said and Daniel and I nodded as we dismount our horses and made our way towards it. It was barricaded but we were able to find a broken window that we could climb through. Everything seemed to be quiet until I opened this door to the back area of the building and hear an infected.
It let out a screech and started to run towards me. "Shit!" I shout as I grab a nearby bottle and throw it at the Runner, stunning it. It fumbles back a bit and I run at it then stab it with my switchblade.
"You alright?" Tommy asked me as he walks up to me. "Yeah, fine." I said. "Nice throw." Daniel said, impressed. "Thanks." I said.
"The way we came in was barricaded....how'd that runner get in here?" Daniel asked, curiously. "Good question." Tommy said and he starts to walk around and looking.
"What's the most infected you ever taken down on patrols?" Daniel asked as we looked around. "It's gotta be the one I had with Joel...and Elliot...couple of years ago. There was like, I dunno, a dozen." I replied. "You?"
"Dina and I cleared about fifteen or twenty once. There was a group passing through." Daniel said. "Fuck." I muttered.
"What about you, Tommy?" Daniel asked and Tommy chuckles. "You know, I've been on many patrols and I've honestly lost count." He replied. "Oh look, he's being Mr Humble right now. He doesn't want to be a show off." I teased and Tommy chuckles.
We go through the building and end up in another building which, according to Tommy, is the upper floor of the supermarket. As we get to the door, Tommy stops us. "I see spores. Masks on." He said and all three of us put on our masks.
"All these spores mean they've been here for awhile." I said and Tommy nods. "Yeah. Keep your eyes out for older infected, kids." Tommy said. "Will do." Daniel said and we start to walk around. I go towards what looks like the bathroom and started to walk into it when I heard a crack and then creak.
"Uh oh." I said as the cracks got louder. I turned and see Daniel running in. "(Y/n)!" He yells and he goes to grab my hand but the floor collapses under my feet and I fall through. I land on my back just as Daniel falls next to me just as some of the debris falls on top of me.
"Daniel!? (Y/n)!?" I hear Tommy call out. "Down here!" Daniel shouts and he crawls over to me. I start to push the debris off of me but it was too damn heavy. Daniel goes to pick it up but then we hear the familiar clicking noise.
Daniel freezes then turns as a Clicker comes up to us. Both of us stay still as best as we could until it screeched at us. That's when I heard Tommy jump down and shoots it in the face.
"Okay, c'mon." He said as he comes up next to Daniel and the two get the debris off of me. "You okay?" Tommy asked me as they help me up. "Yeah, just banged up." I remarked. "Good. I'd hate to get my ass kicked by Joel if something happened to you." He said and I chuckled just as we hear more Clickers.
"Alright, kids, get ready." Tommy said and Daniel and I pull out our guns and we make our way through while taking out some Clickers.
"These blind motherfuckers make my skin crawl." Daniel growled. "No shit." I muttered. "Let's just make sure this building's clear and then we can get outta here." said Tommy. "Agreed." Daniel and I said and we look around then take out the Clickers and Runners.
Finally, we take out the last of the infected and look around the supermarket. "Is that it?" I asked the men. "I think so." Tommy said as Daniel looks around. "Yeah, I don't hear anything." He said. "Okay, let's get out of here." Tommy said then he points towards the large hole above us that lead outside. "I think we can make it up there." He said and we start to take our masks off.
Daniel finds a rope then tosses it up towards the bar up high and the rope wraps around the bar. Daniel pulls on the rope to see if it was secure. Once it was, he holds it out to me. "Ladies first." He said and I smile. "Aww, so sweet." I said and I start to climb up and make it to the roof.
"Made it!" I called out and Daniel starts to climb up the rope. I reach out and help him up as Tommy makes his way up. Once all three of us get to the roof, we make our way down and back towards the horses.
At that moment, the wind kinda picked up a bit. "Whew, little windy out here." Daniel said as we get on our horses. "Yeah, I hope it doesn't become a storm." I said and then the SAT radio goes off. "Tommy, how y'all doing?" Joel's voice asked through the radio as Tommy picks it up and holds it to his face. "Found some infected in the old supermarket, but the kids and I took care of it." Tommy replied. "How's it over there with you?"
"We've only find a handful but nothing too crazy. We're just coming up to our lookout." Joel replied. "Alright. We're heading to our lookout too. I'll let you know when we get there." said Tommy. "Alright. Y'all be safe." Joel said. "Same to you." Tommy said and he puts the radio away and we start to head off as the wind picked up a bit and the clouds started to gather and grow darker.
"If this gets worse, we'll take shelter at a nearby cabin thats not far from here." Tommy calls out. "You're the pro, Tommy." I called out and we continued on.
The wind and snow started to pick up even more then Tommy starts to lead us to a different direction. "Over here. The Baldwin's cabin is just over here. We'll stay there for the time being." Tommy called out and we follow him.
Minutes later, we come up to a large cabin but I stopped when I noticed a light shining through the window. "Uh, guys...either my mind is playing tricks on me or there's a light in that cabin." I said and Tommy pulls out his binoculars to look through it.
"What is it?" Daniel asked. "Looks like there's some people in there." Tommy said. "Any of ours?" I asked and Tommy shakes his head as he sets his binoculars back in his bag. He dismounts his horse and so do Daniel and I then we begin to walk, cautiously, to the cabin.
Tommy pulls out his radio and pushes the call button. "If anyone can hear this, Daniel, (y/n) and I are at the Baldwin's cabin. We think there are people inside of it, don't know if they're armed but I request back-up." He said. "Okay, we'll be there as soon as we can." Dina's voice said. "Same here." Joel's voice replied and Tommy puts away his radio.
We get to the back door, which was a sliding glass door that was broken, and head inside. There we could hear voices as we get closer to them as they stand in the living room. We hide behind some furniture, from the other side of the cabin, and watch them as they talk amongst themselves.
"We should just go ahead and talk to them. They seem friendly enough." Daniel said, in a quiet voice, and Tommy and I look over at him. "You crazy?" I asked him, in the same quiet voice. "Why not? There were other people we've met up before and they were friendly enough." Daniel said. "We still should wait for the others and then we can talk to them." Tommy said.
Daniel waves him off and starts to walk over to them. "Daniel!" I whisper-shouted but he was already walking towards this group.
"Hello!" Daniel greets and the group turns to him, shocked and startled. A couple of them aim their guns at him and he raises his hands. "Hey, hey, hey. I mean no harm." Daniel said as one woman with blonde hair stares at him.
"Who are you?" She asked him. "My name is Daniel. I was just passing through and noticed your lights. I'm from this settlement down the valley. Do you guys need anything?" Daniel asked them and I noticed the new group look amongst each other.
"We're actually looking for a new place to live. Do you think Jackson will take us in?" The sandy blonde haired man asked him. "It's not that easy, first you have to build up trust and do this whole interview thing...we just don't let anyone in." Daniel explained.
"So how long does it usually take?" The blonde woman asked Daniel. "Maybe a few months?" Daniel said, shrugging, and I see and hear one of the woman's people whisper to her. "That's too long." The guy said. "Well, I don't make the rules..." Daniel said but then he stops and looks between them.
The air in the building suddenly changed as I could tell that Daniel looked a bit uneasy. He places his hands behind his back and I noticed his fingers were fidgeting. "Tommy..." I whispered, worried, as Daniel continued on.
"Um, anyway....how did you guys hear about Jackson, anyway?" He asked. "Some guy told us about it. You don't know a man named Joel, do you?" Another woman, with short dark hair, asked and I could see Daniel frozen on the spot while I gave a scared look towards Tommy, who looked just as scared.
My heart pounded in my chest as Daniel starts to turn and run towards our direction but a couple of guys grab him and pin him to the floor. "No!" I whispered-shouted and started to get up but Tommy places a hand on my shoulder. "Not yet." He said then he pulls his radio out.
"If anyone's out there, we need you at the Baldwin's ASAP. Daniel's been captured by this crew." Tommy said, quietly. into the radio. "On our way." Joel's voice said and he puts it away just as I hear Daniel letting out a scream.
I placed a hand over my mouth as these assholes beat him up. "Now tell us, where is Joel?" The blonde woman asked and I felt my hand shaking. Daniel, fortunately, kept his mouth shut and they keep beating him up and asking him about Joel.
"They'll know he's missing soon, they'll send a search party and we will be outnumbered. We've gotta get out of here." Sandy blonde man said. "So we just give up? Just like that and head back to Seattle?" The Hispanic guy said. "What other choice do we have?" The sandy blonde man said.
"No, we have to find him and finish this." The short dark haired woman said, angrily, and the sandy blonde man runs his hands over his eyes then raises his head. "Wait a minute...earlier I saw some armed patrols leaving the settlement." He said.
"Yeah, so?" The blonde woman said, annoyed. "So, I noticed that they were in groups of three's." The man said and I felt like I was gonna throw up as everyone looks around at each other.
Tommy and I exchange looks just as the blonde woman picks Daniel up and holds a gun to his head. "I know you're out there! Come out or I will kill this boy!" She shouts and Tommy lowers his head and shuts his eyes. "There's no one else. I'm alone." Daniel shouts. "Shut up!" The woman said and she hits him with her gun, making me gasp.
"You've got til the count of three! One...." the woman counts and I look over at Tommy. "Tommy..." I pleaded and he shuts his eyes, tightly.
"Two..."
Tommy takes a deep breath and lets it out before he nods at me.
"Thr--"
"Stop, stop!" Tommy shouts and he stands up and I follow, both of us hold our hands up in surrender. We walk towards them and the group watches us while I noticed the blonde woman's eyes widen and her jaw drops.
"You!" She said, shocked. I look over at Tommy, confused, the looked back at the woman as she shakes then, quickly, she moves her gun and shoots Tommy in the leg twice. "Tommy!" I shouted and before I could do anything one guy, with dark hair and a large scar across his right cheek, starts to grab me. I pull out my gun but the guy grabs my hands and we start to fight for the gun.
I kick him and go to headbutt him but then two more people grabbed me and pulled me away from their friend as he takes my gun and tossed it aside. "Get her hands!" A woman shouts. "Get off of me! Get the fuck off of me!" I shouted as I fight back but the two guys were stronger as they beat me up, pin me down and tie my hands behind my back.
They hold me down on my front as I hear Tommy growling and groaning in pain. "Leave him alone!" Daniel screams as I turn and see the Hispanic guy and sandy blonde man pick Tommy up by his arms. "Get off me!" Tommy shouts then the two guys pin him to the wall.
"Please, don't hurt him!" I shouted, pleadingly, but they ignore me as the blonde woman kneels in front of Tommy. "Tommy Miller." She growls as Tommy glares at her. "Who are you?" He asked her and she scoffs. "Someone you shouldn't have crossed." She growls then she pulls out a knife and stabs Tommy in his leg.
Tommy yells out in pain and she twists the knife. "STOP! PLEASE!" I shouted as I try to move but the two guys hold me down. The woman pulled the knife out of his leg then she stands up just as one of her goons hands her a golf club.
"I've been waiting eighteen years for this." She growls as she accepts the gold club. "No, don't please!" I shouted. "Look, we'll give you whatever you want just...please let us go!" Daniel pleads but then both of us received kicks and punches.
"What I want is something you can never give me." The woman growls at Daniel. "You may not have pulled the trigger on my father, but you are the next best thing." She said as she turns back to Tommy. She raises the club up and starts swinging it at Tommy.
Tommy let out every painful yell with each hit he received, the sound of metal hitting flesh is a sound I'll never forget. Daniel and I tried to move but these guys held us down. One guy even grabbed a fistful of my hair then slammed my face against the floor.
I groan and cough as I could taste the blood in my mouth. My head was spinning as I looked over at the woman as she repeatedly beat Tommy with the club. After what felt like hours, but really was minutes, the sandy blonde man shouts. "ABBY, STOP!"
She stops with the beating as the man holds up the SAT radio. "This was in his bag. I'll bet more of them are on the way." He said then he tosses the radio on the floor and stomps on it, breaking it to pieces. "We've got to get out of here before the whole town shows up." He said then he walks up to Abby.
"We're done." He said and she steps up to him. "You know what I want." She said, through clenched teeth. The man leans towards her and said, with a stern voice. "End it. Now."
She glares at the man as he walks away from her. "No, no, no, no." Daniel and I said as I look over at Tommy, who was laying on his front on the floor and his face was just beaten, bruised and battered. He was almost unrecognizable. "Tommy, get up." Daniel pleaded and I could see Tommy's eyes looking at us. "Tommy, fucking get up!" I shouted then I look up at Abby.
"Please, stop!" I cried.
"Please, don't do this!" Daniel cried as well while Abby looks down at Tommy then pulls out her gun.
"No, no, no, stop! Please!" Daniel shouts.
"Tommy, please get up!" I shouted as Abby aims her gun at Tommy and mutters. "This is for my father, you sonuvabitch." And she fires two shots at Tommy's head.
"NO!!!" Daniel and I screamed and then I began to sob for a moment before I felt anger in my chest. "You're gonna fuckin' die! I'm gonna kill all of you!!" I spat as the Hispanic guy looks over at us and comes at me with his gun raised.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you doing?" Sandy blonde man said. "Finishing the job! It's too risky to keep them alive!" Hispanic man said. "They're just kids!" Blonde man said. "So? You just heard this girl, right?" The Hispanic man asked as he points at me.
"They will come after us. We have to get rid of them." He said as the sandy blonde man shakes his head. "I'm not letting you harm kids." He growls and the Hispanic guy scoffs then turns to Abby. "What do you wanna do?" He asked her.
She turns to me as I glare at her. We stare at each other for a few moments before I growled. "I'm gonna fuckin' kill you."
"Manny's right." Abby said as she turns to us and pulls out her gun. "Please, please, please." Daniel pleads, tearfully, as she aims it at us but then we hear a familiar screeching and screams of the infected. Abby looks off to the side then a smile slowly creeps on her face.
"Actually, let's leave them for the infected." Abby said as she holsters her gun. Her and her friends then start to get out of the cabin and leave us behind. I look over at Tommy's beaten and battered body and I start to sob. "Tommy." I cried then I place my forehead against the floor, crying. "Shit." Daniel mutters, sadly.
There's no way that this is real.
This has to be a nightmare.
There's no way Tommy was gone.
I shut my eyes and then open them but his dead body was still there.
"How the hell are we gonna get outta here?" Daniel asked, panicked, and I look around but then remembered my switchblade in my pocket. "I-I, uh...think my switchblade is in my pocket." I said and I get up and sit on my knees as Daniel gets up.
"Here...see if you can try to reach in my pocket." I said and Daniel comes towards me. He turns around, his back towards me, and started to move his hand on my leg towards my pocket then reaches inside. "Got it!" He said and he pulls my blade out then flipped it over and started cutting his restraints.
The sounds of the infected started to get closer as Daniel cut the restraints as fast as he could until he was free. Then he goes up behind me and starts to cut my restraints. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck." He mutters as the sounds were just on the other side of the house.
Just as the infected came into view, Daniel was able to free me from my restraints and I grab my blade from him and the two of us started to fight back. I stabbed at a couple while he grabbed his gun and fired at some more.
More started to come in and we kept fighting them until we heard more gunshots. We look over and see Dina, Elliot, Joel, Jesse, Ashley and Troy come in and taking out the infected.
Once it was cleared, Dina runs over to Daniel. "Danny!" She said as she hugs him. Joel comes over to me then pulls me into an embrace. "Thank God." He said as he hugs me and I start to cry. "You okay?" Elliot asked, worried, as he comes up to me. Joel pulls back from the hug and Elliot hugs me too. I push him back, not harshly but enough for him to know I need space a bit.
"(Y/n)? What's wrong? Where's Tommy?" Joel asked me as he sees tears in my eyes. "Joel...I-I'm...sorry..." I cried as Daniel said. "It's my fault."
"What are you...?" Joel started to ask but I started to step aside. "We tried." I cried and I turn my gaze towards Tommy’s body. Joel follows my gaze and sees his little brother dead on the ground.
"No..." he whispers, almost in disbelief, while everyone looks over. "Oh my God!" Dina gasps while Elliot's and Jesse's eyes widen in shock. "Holy shit." Troy whispered as Ashley placed her hands over her mouth and started to cry.
Joel walks over to Tommy's body and kneels down to him. "Tommy?" He mutters, tears in his voice as I start to shake and feel guilty. I look over and see Daniel with his head hanging down, in guilt. "No, no, no, no..." Joel whispers, tearfully, and he places his hand on Tommy's shoulder.
He lowers his head and he starts to cry, which broke my heart and made me cry. I place my hands over my face and began to cry just as I felt hands on my shoulder. Then the hands made me turn to the right and pulled me in an embrace.
I lowered my hands then looked up to see that it was Elliot who pulled me in the embrace. I wrap my arms around him, buried my head in his chest and began to cry while Elliot holds me tighter.
"H-He's dead." Troy mutters, shocked.
"Shit! What are we gonna do?" Ashley asked, panicked.
"Hell with that, what are we gonna tell Maria?" Jesse asked.
