Ellie's P.O.V

I woke up with a really bad headache with a backache. I sat up but everything hurts. I yelped quietly from all the pain I had and they must've kicked me or something really hard. I looked around and saw that I was in some sort of cage. I looked outside of my small window as I stand up and it was snowing. Wow well that was quick for that weather to hit in. But then something caught my eyes in the distance, there was a Firefly logo. My eyes widen. Shit! No no I don't want this again! Please n-

"Well well. Look who's up." A light voice that sounded like a lady. I turned around to see a tall, white skinned, lady with black hair. She looked really skinny and only wore a black sweater with blue jeans. From her eyes, she had hazel eyes. Freckles all over her face.

So I just stared at her and stayed away. "What do you want?" I asked her with a hint if disgust in my voice.

In a few seconds later two soldiers came in and opened my door and pulled me out. "Hey! Leave me alone!" I yelled trying to struggle out of their grip. One was holding my right arm and one was holding the other. I looked around and saw rooms that were closed. One caught my eye and read "laboratory" Shit! Are they gonna try getting me out of this again?! I struggled again but then the man shouted at me to shut up.

It took us a long way after we passed three floor down. As we reached at the end of a hallway, they threw me like I was some sort of trash that got rottened. "Dicks." I muttered to myself.

"Ellie?" I heard a deep and familiar voice around. I looked around and saw Joel. "Joel!" I ram to him and hugged him. "It's ok baby girl your with me don't worry." He said as I hugged him tighter.

"Where's Sam?" I asked noticing he's not around. He sighed, The Bastard betrayed us."

My eyes widened and anger filled inside me.

Sam's P.O.V

How could I do this? I liked Ellie a lot but how could the Fireflys find me?! I went really far away to be free but they still got me. So I sat on a chair in my old room and thought about everything. Why did I lie to her about me being alone? How will I apologize to her? Will she forgive me or kill me? All these thoughts ran into my head.

"Hey Sam. You wanna go check the prisoners?" Jack said as he entered the room. "Yeah. In a minute." I replied back. He then left the room and I'm back being alone. I sighed and stood up. Walking to the door where Ellie and Joel are staying, I opened the door and walked in. "Ellie? Joel?" I called them but no response. Suddenly I felt someone punch me on face. "Ah! Fuck!" My hand reached for my cheek and checked if there was blood but it was only a bruise. Then My cheek felt really numb like as if it wasn't there.

I looked around and saw an angry Ellie infront of me.

Ellie's P.O.V

"You mother fucker! You fucking betrayed us and.... and lied to us?!" I yelled at Sam as Joel closed the door behind us. "I swear I didn't mean it! I didn't even know they were coming!" He yelled back and I kicked his berries. He yelped and bent to the ground, crashing his body onto the ground. "Stop lying! You should've atleast told us you worked with them!" I continued yelling at him.

"I didn't want to hurt you......because.... because I love you." He stuttered a little. These words hit me.... Was he trying to protect me?... Well I thought he liked me but not that much! I clenched my fists as he stood up. "Just please dont hurt me." He said. "Well we won't touch you if you let us escape." His eyes widened. "What?! They'll kill me if I let you go or they'll kill all of us!" He exclaimed. Well let's try it then. Get us out bags right now and then well get out together and pretend this never happened." I said as I glared at him.

He took a few breathes. "Ok I'll do it." He finally said and walked out of the room. I nodded and turned to Joel. "I don't think we should trust that asshole..." Joel suggested. "We're gonna have to see first." I said.
