Sakura "Naruko, when are you going to come out?"

There was no response. She pounded on the door and then Naruko came out with tears in her eyes. Sakura saw the picture in her hand and gained a sad expression. She knew that Naruko has been waiting for YN to come home, but he hasn't returned.

Sakura "I'm sorry, but I wanted to make sure that you were alright since I didn't see you earlier."

Naruko "It-It's okay, I am just-

Sakura "I know. It hasn't been the same since he left. It's been rather quiet since that day and it has been strange."

Naruko "I want YN back here, he promised that he would come here, but hasn't yet."

Sakura saw the tears starting to fall and hugged her friend to give her a shoulder to cry on. Naruko cried and held on tightly. Sakura did what she could to not break down as it was hard when Naruko would cry.

Sakura "It's okay, he'll be here I bet ya. He might be eating some food right now and then he will come here, he always does that."

Naruko "But what if he doesn't make it? What if he dies and, and."

She started crying again and Sakura was almost about to cry when it started pouring down rain.

Sakura "Let's head inside so that we don't get soaked."

They head inside and Sakura seemed to notice that the house was rather clean.

Sakura "Last time I was in here, it was a mess. Now its really clean. What caused you to clean it?"

Naruko "W-well I clean it every so often in case he came back, so we could have some Ramen together and talk about everything that has happened."

Sakura "I know what's wrong."

Naruko "W-what?"

Sakura "You're in love with YN aren't you?"

Naruko's face went red. Her liking YN? That's crazy right? Theres no way she is in love with him.

Naruko "Y-yeah, I am. It's because of the way he treated me."

Flashback

Naruko took off running away from everyone after they were treating her like crap. She ran to an alley and bumped into another person falling to the ground.

Naruko "I am so sorry please don't hurt me."

??? "Hurt you? Why would I do that? It was an accident, they always happen."

She was crying and then the kid got up and reached his hand out to her and said.

??? "My name is Son YN."

Naruko "N-naruko Uzumaki."

YN "Come on do you wanna come hang out at my grandpas house?"

Naruko "Where's your family?"

YN "Well I only have my grandpa, I never knew my mother or father."

Naruko "I never knew mine either, I've just been treated differently compared to the others in the village."

YN and Naruko went to YN's Grandpa's house and they are greeted by an old man.

Grandpa "Welcome home YN, I see you have a friend. Who are you?"

Naruko "M-my name is Na-naruko Uzumaki."

Grandpa "Nice to meet you Naruko. My name is Gohan, but you can call me Grandpa Gohan or just Grandpa."

She started smiling at Gohan as he was very nice to her.

Gohan "YN, did you grab the stuff that I needed?"

YN "Yeah, here it is."

YN handed Gohan the stuff he had and Gohan left the room and YN started talking to Naruko and asked her.

YN "Do you want to play?"

Naruko was shocked at the request from this kid but smiled and responded with.

Naruko "Okay."

YN tapped her on the shoulder and ran away as she then chased him and the two played tag for a couple hours.

Gohan "Dinner is ready you two."

YN "Okay, come on Naruko, lets eat."

Naruko "Are you sure I can join you for dinner?"

YN "Yeah, Grandpa said that it's okay."

She smiled at the fact that her friend and his Grandpa were treating her like she was a human being. From that day on the two were the closest of friends.

End of Flashback

Naruko "When he left, I was scared because of thought of losing YN was something I didn't want to happen. He was my first friend that cared about me. He didn't treat me differently, he would look out for me and make sure that everything was going to be alright."

Sakura "I..... didn't know about that."

Naruko "Not everyone did."

They head outside as it is now not raining, they decided to head to Ichiraku and when they got there, they heard laughing and talking.

Teuchi "I can't believe that you are now back, it's been awhile."

??? "Yeah, I can't believe that this place hasn't changed that much. Still some of the best Ramen of all time."

They look at the person and they have several bowls stacked up next to them and Naruko saw the hair of the person and asked.

Naruko "YN?"
