"Wait, let me get this straight, the Reason that Sonic is feeling this way, is because he's completely drained of his Chaos Energy." Shadow said pulling his hands up, in protest, he knew that his husband was weak. Since he was in that coma he couldn't really feel Sonic's energy, but his own Daughter's and Son's energy. He looks away, feeling back for agreeing to Sonic for having a another child with him. If only he knew the consequences, but he can't put the blame on Shadic, cause he's only a baby. If only he noticed when Maria was born.

"No...he's right, I can't feel Sonic either." Knuckles added looking down at the blue hedgehog, Maria was still snuggled up against him. She hadn't really left his side since Shadow brought the azure hedgehog here, and she's normally cheerful when she is around everyone that she knows.

"Okay, So that only confirms what I was feeling...when I was back there..." Scourge added. Shadow just pets Maria's quills, he now understands why she was so concerned about Sonic, at least he gave Shadic a Sonic plush to keep him occupied.

"Then what are you planning Tails?" Knuckles asked turning his attention to the Fox, who was setting up the medical equipment, like an IV, and the heart monitor, he pushes the needle into Sonic's hand wrapped bandages around his hand to keep the IV in place and straps the around the blue hedgehog's arm and the heart monitor beeps to life. It was a relief when they all heard the sound of the beeping from the monitor, not that Sonic's chest wasn't raising and falling. "Having you guys here, you three are the powerful more Chaos users I know..." Tails responded.

"Well I don't want to bra-Ow!" Scourge said when Shadow smacks him in the back of the head.

"Anyways with your presence, it maybe enough to at least wake up Sonic, and keep him stable enough so I can invent something to help do the opposite of what Shadow's inhibitor rings do for him." He said.

"Okay but what about the rest of us...you know some of us got a life."

"Listen Scourge...I'm not forcing you, you can leave if you want...but this is our brother we talking about and I know deep down you care about him as much as he cared about you." Tails strictly said, Metal's eyes was busy watching the Fox, but he was force to be the energy reader for the Fox. Scourge looks away.

"Are you crying?"

"Shut the fuck up...Red!" Scourge growled.

"Geez Sorry, just never seen you cry before." Knuckles responded. Scourge only folded his arms, he wasn't one to show emotions, in front of people, except for his family, but Tails was right as annoying as Sonic is, he cares about him...he just has a hard time admitting that he cares about people cause of the whole backstabbing thing that he always gets from the groups that he was in, he felt a hand on his shoulder he looked over to see Shadow.

"Thanks Scourge, this means a lot..."

"Yeah yeah...Tell anyone that I was crying...and I wouldn't hesitate to break your fucking kneecaps, brother-in-law or not." Scourge threaten the ebony hedgehog who only rolled his eyes.

"Thanks Scourge...as for Rouge, Knuckles I let her know." Tails said. The door to the workshop open revealing Fiona, the workshop was connected to the apartment the three share, Scourge blinks when he saw Fiona, before looking away he didn't still have feelings for her, but he's been avoiding seeing her since the day they called it off, but seeing her with his adopted younger brother only made his question.
Why?
But seeing her happy with someone that was treating her better than he did only made this encounter more emotional, or rather heartbreaking.

"Come on Shadic, Your Daddy is busy with something important." Fiona said picking up the newborn. She was holding Maria's hand, but she wasn't isolating Shadow from his kids of course it just be better if he had some help.

"You really did think of everything..."

"Of course, your like a brother to me too, Shadow not just Sonic, and I'm not isolating you from your kids either. Just like ho-"

"He's not isolating me from seeing Knuckles." Rouge said walking into the room, and giving her husband a kiss on the cheek.

"Now Shadow can I borrow one if your inhibitor rings." Tails holding out his hand out the item, Shadow wasn't that unstable without them on, it was more of a barrier that was preventing him from over using his abilities, he unclips the ring off of his wrist and gives it to Tails. Who took in and runs over to his desk, opening the drawer to pull out the pair of Silver inhibitor rings.

Shadow just lets out a soft sigh before turning his attention to Scourge he noticed how was looking at Fiona when she showed. Rouge was busy talking to Tails, to offer some help, as much as she hates to give up some things like gems, she'll be generous enough to help out a family member, like Sonic.

"What's up with you and Fiona?" Shadow said to Scourge which caught the green hedgehog off guard.

"Yeah I've noticed that two..." Knuckles agreed, he had found a beanbag to sit in, not that he couldn't stand for ever, just might as well making himself comfortable.

"It's nothing..."

The metal door slide open, and the white bat walked out, she was going to get something for the fox. Scourge only folded his arms he didn't want to talk about it. Shadow only held his hands up in protest, he understood, if the green hedgehog was ready to talk about it than he was ready to listen. He just sits himself down on the beanbag that was placed for him, Scourge only walked over to Tails, to see how he was doing.

"Hello Scourge."

"How's Fiona?" Tails blinks removing the goggles from his head to look at Scourge, he knew that he married his adopted brothers' EX, he guessed that Scourge and Fiona never made up after that whole ordeal back at the castle that day. The fox sighs, "She's great actually...she really hadn't changed much, but she regretted doing things that she did when she was a member of the Freedom Fighters." He said to Scourge getting back to work.

"Oh..."

"Look Scourge if you want to make things up with her, she's just inside." He said pointing to the door behind Knuckles. Scourge blinks before just rubbed the back of his head, he really wasn't one to actually apologize for his actions, after all it's been a long time since he broke up with Fiona.

"Tails!" The metal door to the workshop opened to reveal Silver and Sonia, they got word. If anything this was a good thing since Silver was a Chaos User. "Silver...You didn't ha-"

"No I owe him...after all I'd never thought that this would be my actual. Future." Silver said as he walked over to the other two, Sonic was kind of friend even if he accidentally tried to kill him. He gives a fist bump to Knuckles and just a smile to Shadow before grabbing a beanbag to sit down.

Scourge only scoffs. "How is it going Tails?" Sonia asked the fox.

"I have a pretty good idea, I still have the blueprints for the fake chaos emerald, I made when we first met Shadow...it's funny to think but Sonic actually used it to escape from death..." Tails explained, he held up the silver bracelets, they didn't look any different from Shadow's inhibitor rings, he did have Rouge bring him some her gems, if Sonic was gonna wear them he might as well make them stylish.

"Are you sure that will work?"

"If it doesn't...I hate to use the actual emeralds, let alone the Master Emerald..." Tails looks down, before his eyes darted to Metal Sonic. "I have him...at least to tell me it works, he's not useless after all."

Sonia looked over at Metal Sonic, it was completely immobilized, with a huge hole in its chest, he was just being held up by some chains, it was surprising still alive. The door to the workshop opened and Tails saw that Scourge walked out of the room.

"He's still regrets the stuff that he did to Fiona...I c-"

"I can." Shadow said.

"Bu-"

"Don't worry about it Sonia, I have a feeling I know where he's going, and I just feel like we got off on the wrong foot." Shadow said as he steps out into the hallway he started to make his way to the race way, it was place that him and Sonic raced around and considering that Scourge was Sonic's twin brother he can find him there, and he was right, walking on the other opposite side of Scourge.

"Scourge?..."

"Stripes?..."

"A quick race before we talk about what's on your mind."

Scourge only blinks as he just started walking, Mobians and Humans are very different, While Humans can't breathe in space, Mobians can it's a rather different subject to talk about. Shadow was walking beside him.

"Look...I'm not the best at apologies." Scourge picking up the pace with his walking that broke into a sprint, he looks over at Shadow who also broke into a sprint.

"I've been married to your brother for twenty years, I understand how terrible you are at being genuine." Shadow stated as he started to skate cause of his rocket shoes, Scourge only grumbles, but he lets out a sigh, as he broke down into a run. The two started down the track of that was just outside of the Ark, despite how red Mobius looked, it was still a pretty sight as well as the Ark it's self, it was rebuilt to mimic what was life like on Mobius before Eggman completely took, over it may look smaller in space but it was quite huge on the inside. Scourge looks to his left to see Shadow on the other rail.

"I not saying you should admit it...but you shouldn't keep running away from your problems." Shadow tells Scourge.

"Been doing it for twenty years...I did have to miss the wedding...a part of me, just didn't want to see her happy..." The green hedgehog admits. "But looking at it now...Miles was a better option, than me."

"I can't say you are good at dating..." Shadow joked. The railing then shifted into some twists and turns separating the two before going back to being side by  side.

"Let me guess Rouge talked about me..." Scourge asked.

"She wouldn't shut up about it."

"Look not everyone can be as good at dating like Sonic..." Scourge admits with a small growl in his throat, really hated to compare himself with his twin brother, but he can't really relate to anyone else, other than Manic. He broke back into his run when the rail ended, Shadow doing the same but into a more skating motion.

"It's more like they are attracted to him, it's when he actually starts trying, or they find out that he's actually trans." Shadow said, he really hated hearing stories about how some of Sonic's EX's made fun of him cause, he wasn't a guy, not that it mattered it always left a sour taste in his mouth.

"Ugh...remind me, but it was always satisfying to beat the shit out of them. I don't care if they filed charges on me, that's my little brother you insulted." Scourge said, a sigh escapes his lips, he did have a question for Shadow though that he kind of always wanted to know. "Why did you go with Sonic? When you got Rouge...Hell Amy's twin sister Rosy."

"He just reminded me of someone I grow up with." Shadow admits, Scourge only blinks.

"Don't follow..."

"Well, she was always hopeful, even in the darkest of times, she was very reason why I swore to protect humanity." Shadow said with a smile on his muzzle.

"I'm guess she's."

"Dead, yes, by the same people I work for..." Shadow said he looks back at Scourge "But it didn't really matter, it's just that every time I saw him, I just see her smiling back at me. She's also the reason why I named my daughter after her, just a memory that I can forget."

"Ugh...Did it have to sound so poetic." Scourge muttered making a gagging motion with his hands. Before he lost his balance and tripped onto the steel floor beneath him, at least it was in front of the track entrance. Shadow skids to a stop, holding a hand out to help Scourge up. "But back at your situation...I'm sure you can think of something to apologize to her, and doesn't have to sappy."

"Yeah, I guess..." Scourge said taking Shadow's hand allowing himself to be pulled up, the door opened before quickly shutting when the two were inside. Scourge fixes quills from the wind that was being sucked out of the chamber and adjusted his shades. "Why do you think Miles picked us?"

"Probably has something to do with our Super Forms" Shadow said "Out of everyone only the five of us can turn super with the help of the chaos emeralds."

"But I heard Miles mention a Fake Emerald?"

"It is what it sounds like, an Emerald that looks like a chaos emerald but uses artificial energy instead of natural." Shadow explains. "I guess it as natural energy, All I know is that it's made to mimic the really deal."

Scourge narrowed his eyes before folding his arms when they made it to the workshop entrance. "Then didn't we use it in the first place..."

"Think about Moron, the only reason Tails has the blueprints is so people like Eggman doesn't find away to make a Fake Master Emerald" Shadow said rolling his eyes as the door opened and the two walked inside. Tails was busy at work, though it looks halfway done, Knuckles was just playing around with Skylar and Maria, well was at least trying to cheer her up, it was working a little. Silver was just using his telekinesis on Shadic who was giggling and enjoying floating. The ebony hedgehog didn't seem to mind that, if it was Maria, sure he'd say something but he can trust Silver at least. He just gave Scourge a pat on the shoulder before walking over to see how his husband was doing.

Scourge only rubbed his head, he wasn't ready to admit anything to Fiona, but Shadow is right, he can't just can't keep running away from his problems, he blinked when he saw that Sally, Manic and his own Parents were in the workshop, they must have got word of the real truth about why Sonic feels the way that he did. "Hey Fiona..."

Fiona turned her attention to Scourge. Who only motioned her to follow him outside of the workshop, she did when the door closed behind her.

"I'M SORRY!!" They both said at the same time before blinking at each other, before they both took a deep breath.

"Fiona look...I'm sorry, for the way I treated you, I only agreed to go out with you, cause I just saw how hurt Sonic was and I wanted to get you back..." Scourge rubs the back of his quills. "I did at some point actually like you...I just didn't know how to show it, hell when you got yourself captured for me. I didn't know to think."

"Scourge I..." Fiona said blinking, by the apology, though hearing the real reason why he agreed to date her was kind of sweet in a way. "Scourge...you're in okay guy...but I never felt the same way, I was just so mad at Sonic that I wanted to hurt him more...but over the years, and our fight back when we were only sixteen, I had a lot to think about, but we can be friends." She said holding her hand out to Scourge before she blinked seeing tears in the corner of Scourge's eyes which caught her off guard. The female fox just hugs Scourge something that she wouldn't unless it was to her own son, but seeing that the green hedgehog needed it she might as well give in. Scourge hugs her back. "You...don't know how bad I needed to hear that..."

"I know...but you were always like a jerky older brother to me, anyways...than a boyfriend." Fiona admits to him. "Well glad that we are kind of are now..." the green hedgehog said.

The metal door slides open with Fiona walked in, she goes back over to Tails. Scourge goes back to the group. He felt better finally getting that off of his chest, it was like the he can see a good friendship between him and Fiona.
