|Third Person POV|

"S...Shadow...Please..." Sonic choked out, on his sobs the ebony hedgehog only held Sonic close to him. "Never...I'm never gonna leave you again." He said. Sonic got caught up on seeing his husband again that he just remembered the kids, he quickly stands up only to stumble backwards. Before a hand caught him from falling into a broke glass from the tank. "I know...but take it easy Love..." Sonic looks at his husband.

Shadow just saw how pale Sonic looked, this kind of worried him. He knows that the blue hedgehog would push himself to the extreme when it came to wanting everyone, and the strong scent of copper that was coming off of the blue hedgehog, he only lets out a sigh, Sonic was about the kids that was number one first he looks over at the camera that was in the room, hoping that someone was watching.

"Shadow?..." Shadow turned his attention to the pink hedgehog who had her ears pinned to her head, she looked concern for the blue hedgehog who just like he was about to pass out, but still holding on to staying awake. Shadow pulls Sonic close to him holding him bridal style, before running off taking Amy's hand with him.

Amy squeaks when she was suddenly pulled along with the ebony hedgehog, at high speed, she was barely able to keep up. "What are we gonna do about Metal?..." she asked.

"I'm not worried about it...if Tails get it up and running...I have a few questions for it..." Shadow growled under his breath. Sonic held onto Shadow tightly.

"And S...Sonic?" She asked looking at the blue hedgehog in his arms. Shadow didn't respond to that he didn't have answer for that yet if anything he'd just was just glad that he was kind of okay.

Tails looked at Metal Sonic that was laying on the ground of the lab in the camera, his ears were flatten to his head, he was curious and concerned on how it here. He knows that the people who stayed on Mobius were skilled spies and fighters, unless. Something must've happened on Mobius. "Daddy!!" Maria cried out running over to the ebony hedgehog tears in her eyes as she jumped into his arms after of course he put Sonic down. Tails' ears perked up before flattening again at the sight of Sonic, he was bruised and covered in cuts from that fight with Metal in the colony. It was a good thing the Ark was designed to take damage from the likes of G.U.N and Eggman, but the azure hedgehog looked pale.

"Maria!" Shadow said hugging his daughter tightly tears in the corner of his eyes "I'm so proud of you...for using chaos control..." he tells his daughter giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"Welcome back Shadow..." Sally said with a smile on her face, Shadic blinks before holding his arms out to Shadow, squeaking and whimpering. Shadow blinks this was his son, he was perfect, he takes the newborn in his arms. "Thank you Sally..." he said to the chipmunk before just holding the newborn close to his chest and giving him a few kisses on the forehead, he was so glad to be reunited with his kids, that he hadn't let Maria go from his arms the two hedgehog kids were just sobbing into him.

"Miles?" Fiona called out to Tails, Tails turned his attention to Fiona. "Now's not the time Fiona...this is a happy moment." He said to his wife wrapping and arm around her shoulder, but he was glad to know that she was safe, he didn't know what he would do if he lost her. Like he did with Cosmo.

"Everyone is safe and a counted for." A voice came into the room from big screen computer, it was a brown Lynx wearing a dark purple dress, black hands and paws, long black haired that was branded at the end. She was the AI system on the Ark, do to how big the Ark was she only travels through the system instead of walking around.

"Thank you Nicole..." Sally said with a sigh she turns her attention to the Lynx "Tell everyone that the threat has been taken care of." She said, Nicole nodded before the screen turned off.

"Oh my Chaos...SONIC!!" Aleena shouted running over to her son and hugging him, who only weakly hugged her back. He guess that she finally saw how bad he looked or the damaged Metal caused to him, he just smiles, before Manic rubbed his shoulder. "You don't look so good Dude..." he said a little concerned, that's because he didn't feel great either.

Jules walked into the room, with Sonia, he saw that Shadow was having a moment with his kids a smile formed on his muzzle before his attention turned to his son, and he rushed over to see if he was okay. Sonia did that same, Silver was right behind her but he stopped to see Shadow and went to talk to him.

"Oh my baby..." Aleena whimpered holding Sonic's face and looking at the deep wounds on his body or at least what she could see, her ears flatten to her head. "Mom..." Sonic quietly said.

Shadow had put Maria down but was just holding Shadic in his arms the newborn was perfect to him, and now that he can finally hold him and cuddle him. He felt complete to know that both him and Sonic made it. The newborn held onto his finger purring softly, it was light meeting his daughter for the first time. "Daddy..." Maria said looking up at Shadow.

"I'm sorry Maria...but this time I'm not gonna go anywhere." Shadow tells the small hedgehog, who only hugged his leg. Shadow is a lot taller than Sonic. "Glad to see your Back to us Shads..." Silver responded looking at the ebony hedgehog. "I wouldn't have it any other way...but what happened when I was gone?" He asked referring to Sonic. Silver only shakes his head folding his arms. "None of told him the truth about you, until yesterday when Tails couldn't keep it in, I don't blame him seeing how hurt Sonic looked when he would asked us if we were keeping something from him. Broke all of our hearts, to the point that Tails couldn't take it anymore." The white hedgehog explained with small sigh.

"I get why you didn't...to keep him from stressing." Shadow responded not minding Shadic sucking on his finger, Silver only nodded before looking at his wife and Sonic, a smile formed on his muzzle. "I guess you two just had that special bond...that none of us understand." He added.

Shadow was about to say something before there was a thud, and his attention was turned towards Sonic, who just collapsed to the floor. "SONIC!" Everyone except for Shadic and Maria called out to the blue hedgehog. Shadow was first to jump into action he gives Shadic to Silver, who flinched when the newborn burst into sobs. The white hedgehog cradles the newborn rocking him softly to get him to calm down, Maria's lip quiver she didn't know what was wrong with her Mother, and it was scaring her. Shadow picks up Sonic bridal style, "Meet me in the medical center...I have a feeling he just fainted..." Shadow said everyone nodded before he just bolted off leaving a red trail behind him.

When Sonic came to his eyes fluttered open he almost screamed when he saw that everyone was crowding around him well almost everyone, he looked over to see a pouch of blood was being pumped into his blood stream, and an IV bag, so he did lose a lot of blood, from him just cutting himself he looked at his arms they were sawn shut with stitches and his jacket was hanging on the chair next to his hospital bed. He felt tears forming in the corner on his eyes, he felt ashame of himself, he wasn't think straight when he started, he only had Shadow on his mind and he was doing his best with trying to stay strong for his kids and family, but now.

"Sonic...Baby..." Aleena cried out, Sonic shifted his gaze over to his Mom who had tears in her eyes like the azure hedgehog. Everyone did this wasn't just his friends they were family to him all of them were family to him, and he let them down, not once but twice.

"I..." Sonic started before he just started to sob, he can see the bandaid patches on his skin. This wasn't the first time that he worried his family either. During the war with Infinite and Eggman he was kidnapped was being tortured for Chaos knows how long, when he came back he was different and just talk much cause he was afraid of losing them to something that he cause. He just felt a pair of arms wrap around him and joining in the sobbing, he saw that it was his Mom. She had every right to be concerned for him and Sonic couldn't blame her. "I'm s..Sorry..." he sobbed out, hiccuping on his sobs. "Sssh...it's okay...Sweetheart, we all are sorry to..." Aleena tells her son to calm him down, soon everyone else joined in on the group hug.

"Please...don't blame yourself Sonic..." Amy said

"Yeah Bro...this isn't your fault." Manic agreed with the pink hedgehog.

"If anything this is our fault, for not knowing that you were hurting on the inside..." Sonia admitted.

Sonic only sniffs he was still pale, but everything will come back to him in due time, he just feel bad right when they were attacked by Metal, and his husband coming back to him, though a his sobbing a smile formed on his muzzle, he knows he a lot of people that cared about and having them take the blame from his stupid actions, made him feel happy in a weird way but this was both his and everyone's faults, not including his kids.

The Doctor that was standing watching this moment go down, just takes a photo of everyone with the Hero of Mobius, it was just moment that shouldn't be forgotten.

After everyone left Shadow came into the room, he had his G.U.N jacket on, dark bagging pants a white fluffy belt that had a holder for a gun that was empty, red straps that just hang off of his pants, his normal rocket shoes, white fingerless gloves a long with a white shirt underneath his jacket that doesn't cover his chest fur. Sonic looked down he felt bad the most for having Shadow see him like this, after they just got reunited. "Shadow I..." Sonic felt Shadow press his finger to his lips to shush him. "I had my suspicions Sonic...if anything I'm just glad that your okay..."

Shadic whimpers wiggling his away out of Shadow's grip to be with Sonic, the azure hedgehog takes the newborn and nuzzles his nose with his own "I'm sorry for worrying you Shaundre..." he tells the newborn only mimicked the motion, he was learning at least he had tears in the corner of his eyes, he was placed to Sonic's exposed chest where the blue hedgehog's beating heart was.

"M-Mommy..." Maria called out, her head poking out from side of the bed. Shadow helps her onto the bed, the tiny hedgehog hugs Sonic nuzzling her face into him sobbing. "M-M-Mommy..." she sobs, Sonic nuzzles his cheek into her forehead "I'm s-Sorry Maria...but I'm proud of you...for doing what I said." Maria only whimpered as she's just hugged her Mom tightly.

"Not as proud as I am of you, Love." Shadow said to Sonic, "I knew you could do it..." before Sonic could say some a creature tackled Shadow's face.

"CHOW!! Chow!!" Jazz sobbed nuzzling Shadow's face tears in her eyes, she was missed Shadow just as much as everyone there. "Okay Jazz, I missed you too..." Shadow snickers pulling the Chao of off his face and rubs her head. Jazz only purrs softly.

Sonic only chuckles, the metal door slides open and a bassinet was pushed into the room for Shadic, a long with a cot for Shadow, the blue hedgehog only frowned, he wasn't expecting to spend nights in the medical center, but with the damage down to his body he doesn't really have a choice. The nurse walked over to Sonic. "I'm glad that you are awake...you have some really nice friends Mister Hedgehog." She smiled at him.

"Their more than friends Miss..." Sonic responded, "Their Family to me, and I couldn't ask for a better one." He smiled, the Nurse only smiled as she just just started to run some the normal check up on him, and giving him the estimate amount of days he was gonna have to stay in the medical center for, before she took her leave.

"I still can't understand that...but then again Omega and Rouge are the only family that I could relate to." Shadow shakes his head and smiles rubbing Maria's head who only purred.

Sonic was holding Shadic close to his, just watching him. The newborn was holding Sonic's finger, sucking on his nipple, it was quiet eventful for the newborn so he didn't blame Shadic for being so starved.

Shadow takes the bag off of his back, placing it on the floor. He just sits back in the chair.

"Shadow?"

"Hmm?"

"Thank you, for being there for me even if I get myself into Stupid situation." Shadow only grins putting Maria down and nuzzles the blue hedgehog, "You just make my life worth, meaning...just please don't do this again."

Sonic pats Shadic back and looks at Shadow. "I promise..." he said when he got a small burp from the newborn he just moves the newborn over to a sit up position on his lap. He gives Shadic a kiss on the side of his head.

Maria lifts herself onto the bed and hugs Shadic, who only purrs. He does love his sister, he just curious about everything.

Shadow takes a hold of Sonic's face before just kissing him on the lips, the blue hedgehog holds onto Shadow's hands kissing the ebony hedgehog back.

"Ew!" Maria said it a joking tone. The Shadow just blocks her face from with his hand. Maria squeaks, he pulls away from Sonic's lips only give the blue hedgehog a lick on the lips making Sonic, flinch he's mouth open before his eyes widen when feeling Shadow's tongue slide into his mouth, he melts into the kiss, just letting Shadow's tongue take dominance over his own tongue. They pulled away each other's lips a thick strain of saliva between the two tongues. "I missed you so much..."

"I missed you too..." Sonic breaths out.

"Disgusting!" Maria whimpers before Sonic pulls her over. "Nuh uh...you'll be the same way when you find someone that like..." he tells the small hedgehog who only giggles. Shadow took Shadic and just smiles, he did enjoy how childish Sonic could be it makes him seem more like a best friend than a parent.

"Nuh uh...Boys are icky!" Maria giggles.

"Oh yeah!" Sonic said just nuzzling her cheek and giving her a kiss on the side of her head.

"Yeah!" Maria purrs softly. Shadow let's out a low chuckle, he kisses Maria's other side of her head.
