|Third Person POV|

Sonic picks up the G.U.N jacket that was black, with a red zipper, it had the G.U.N logo on the sleeve, and the name "Shadow Robotnik Hedgehog" on the the front the same symbol on the back with the words "Ultimate Life Form" a hood with a white fur trim around the hood. This was his husband's G.U.N uniform, he only smiles before slipping on the jacket.  Sonic rubs his eyes he didn't really mean to get emotional, but at the same time he had a good reason to be. Sonic smiles to himself. He headed for the door the metal doors opens and he saw Maria with her cousin, a orange male fox, they were born with two tails. The fox had black ear, arms that reached up to his wrists, and paws that reached up to his ankles, his tails faded into a yellow to an orange with white muzzle, underbelly, and tail tips, deep blue running shoes, white gloves that a paw print pattern on the palms, four yellow bangs that faded into a white at the tips. Sonic smiles a little, seeing the two kind of reminded him of himself and Tails when they were young. He walks over to the two. "Hey Skylar."

"Hi Uncle Sonic." Skylar smiled his tails lightly wagging behind him. Maria looked up to see the blue hedgehog, her tail wagging slightly as she smiled looking up at him. "Hi Mommy!"

"Well, well, I'm glad to see that your awake and doing well, Sonic." A voice said behind the blue hedgehog, Sonic turned his attention to see the red fox, with a tan muzzle, underbelly, and tail tip, a black sweeter, with a boob window, black fingerless gloves, black plants with matching boots, a golden ring on her finger. She takes the blue hedgehog away from the kids to talk to him alone. Jazz that had followed Sonic out of the room she just flew over to the kids to hang out with them.

"Sonic..."

"I know, I know...Tails probably told you what happened last night...I'm trying really I am" Sonic admits as he just holds his bump feeling the pup moving, but the look on the red foxes face told him otherwise, and the blue hedgehog just pinned his ears down and just looks down at his growing stomach, there was tears in the cornering of his eyes. He just holds his arm.

"Sonic...Everyone is worried about you, if something is wrong you can tell us?" Fiona responded placing an arm on his shoulder giving him a smile on her face. Sonic only looks at her before wiping away his tears his eyes, and nodded he was trying to stay healthy long enough for himself and Maria's sake but the feeling of loneliness and him thinking this was all his fault, he take a shaken breath out of his mouth.

"I'm okay...I promise, just concerned thats all." Sonic admits turning to walk away from her, Fiona only looks at the azure hedgehog with a concern look in her eyes, but this is something that she didn't have control over, at least he's not stressing himself out with this whole situation. A sigh escapes her nose as just turns her attention back to the kids, a smile form on her muzzle, her son was only a year younger than Maria and yet they are still about to be friends. She just feels bad for Maria, not that Sonic is a bad Mother, it's just having to grow up in a place that her Father was created in, in a world that was completely ruled by the enemy, and losing her Father the same week.

Maria just claps her hands proud of herself with helping Skylar with building his little model plane, the fox was amazed and claps as well, he was a lot like his Father, but had the attention spanned that his Mother does when it came to being patient with something, but he does have the intelligence that his Father does, for a five year old he's very smart. Fiona just walks over to the two. "Come on Sky, and Maria, let's go see how Uncle Sonic is doing" she said.

"Okay Auntie Fiona" Maria said jumping up to her feet and looking over at Skylar with a smile on her face. "I'll race you!"

"Okay!" Before Fiona could get a word out to them the two bolted off, she only snickers to herself. They are a lot like Sonic and her husband when they were kids. She also didn't mind them being cousins either, since Tails has always been like a brother to him. She just runs after them to make sure they didn't hurt the blue hedgehog the last thing they need is a pregnant hedgehog braking something before of the kids having a little race.

Sonic was just holding a tablet, he was only checking in with some of the Mobians that had stayed behind on Mobius, it makes him feel a little better about himself and Shadow's situation. A sigh escapes his lips as he just folds the tablet down to the size of a small stick and he puts the stick into his pocket, he looks around before finally sitting down at the table, he really couldn't tell Fiona how he felt, and it really wasn't good thoughts he's been having, he's always been thinking about the pup that is growing inside him, he just puts his hand on his stomach rubbing it to calm the pup down, he was just in deep in thought the he hadn't realized the two the children that were running over to him.

Maria hugs Sonic's arm, who just rubbed her. "No fair..." Skylar said with small frown on his face as he walked over, Sonic only snickers he rubs Skylar head as well. "You'll get to beat her at some point, Sky, After all it didn't take your Father long to outrun me, as his age." Skylar only smiles.

Fiona sat down next to Sonic, the two kids go off to the play with each. Jazz rests herself onto Sonic's shoulder, she purrs when the hedgehog rubs her chin. Fiona placed her hand on Sonic's bump, which the blue hedgehog didn't mind, she was a close friend of his, and his best friends wife. She only smiles when she felt the pup kicking. "So have you thought of a name for him?" She asked the blue hedgehog.

"Yeah...Shadow, really like the name Shaundre, to put it simply Shadic." Sonic admits placing a hand of his bump. "And I kind of want, to keep it, since he came up with the name..." he sniffs thinking about the time when they first found out the gender of the pup, and how happy his husband was with the news same with Maria. The blue hedgehog sits back on the bench, he lets out a yawn, and he just places his hands under his stomach, to give his bump support, of course he was wearing clothes to help out but, without Shadow he struggles a lot with doing somethings himself. He just smiles watching his daughter playing with the fox boy.

"Are those Scientists treating you well?"

Sonic chuckles, he appreciates how protective his friends are to him and Maria, it was comforting to know that he had a lot of people that care about him and his daughter's needs "Yes...They aren't bad, they are of course quiet nice to Maria when it comes to giving her the vaccines, and taking blood samples." He rubs his cheek on Jazz's head cause she was nuzzling him for attention. "She has a lot of Shadow's properties..."

"Your worried about her being very unstable?" Fiona asked folding her arms, watching her husband show up, she couldn't help but to smile how childish Tails was when it came to the kids. She is actually glad that she gave the genus a second chance when he was older, after all he's been through a lot and the stories about a seedrian that he met was rather sweet.

"It's not...kind of, I don't know how I'd feel if they used the Androids to help train her." Sonic admits, he does appreciate the help with trying get Maria to control her chaos abilities, at first when she was only pup she was a bit of a prankster and found enjoyment in giving Sonic a heart attack when she would just chaos control. He shakes his head but he noticed Tails playing with the kids by being a villain character for their little pretend game. "I know Silver is doing a good job with helping her control her Telekinesis, which I appreciate."

"Hey guys." Tails said holding Skylar in his arms and Maria on his shoulder, just purring and giggling.

"Morning Tails" Sonic said with a smile to his best friend.

"Hey Hon," Fiona smiled. Sonic just shared some stories he had of himself and Tails when they were kids, he was holding Maria in his arms when he waved them goodbye, Jazz just flying beside him.

"Mommy?" Maria asked looking at Sonic her ears kind of droop to her head. "Is Daddy ever gonna wake up?" Sonic blinks he didn't really want to think about this Project Rebirth, failing since he really couldn't handle loosing Shadow a second time, but he knows at some point Shadow will wake up, even if he didn't have much memory of him, or Maria, but he does have hope that he would, he has all the time in the world to wait.

"Of course Mar-Mar, your a tough kid and I know Daddy wouldn't miss seeing you grow up." Sonic tells her rubbing her head, her little tail wags as she smiles and holds her fists up.

"I'm gonna be like Mommy and Daddy when I grow up!" She cheered punching the air, Jazz only cooes at the little hedgehog's excitement, Sonic only snickers.

"You still have a lot to learn Mar-Mar." He said putting the hedgehog down to walk, his arm was getting tired with holding her. He looks over at the chamber that had the ebony hedgehog inside, he was still a good enough distance away from the lab but he did have hope that Shadow would come back to him, even if it felt like six years since he lost the hedgehog, a soft sigh escapes his nose, he could use some fresh air, or at least something that mimic fresh air. He held his hand out for Maria to take. "Come on Mar-Mar, let's go play outside." He said the small hedgehog grabs ahold of Sonic's hand and follows beside him.

The Scientist who was holding a clipboard just checking off, what they was observing of the ebony hedgehog in the chamber, when they looked up at the hedgehog they nearly dropped the clipboard when a pair of crimson red eyes was looking back at him, before the eyes shifted to look at the necklace that was floating up to his face, a blue ring with a wing attached to the ring. A smile form underneath the mask, as he just fell back into a deep slumber. The Scientist just scratches their head before putting a check mark next to the item that was on the list. It was still to early to tell, for the Ultimate Life Form to come out of the chamber to join back with his lover and kid. After all, as much as the memories have been comeback to the ebony hedgehog, it wasn't enough since Shadow had morals and a reason to be fighting. The Scientist just shakes their head putting the clipboard down onto the desk. They were close to giving the Blue hedgehog his husband back to him.
