Sonic couldn't see were he was running cause of the tears that were forming in his eyes, he tries his best to be that person that he was, but it always just makes him upset to the point that he could be the hedgehog that he use to be. Running he suddenly trips onto the metal floor beneath him. He just started to sob uncomfortable this time the inhibitor rings suddenly going dull, he was in the room that Shadow brought him in. It was quiet place to be alone in, so he can just cry in peace. "I'm...so sorry..." he sobbed out. He looked at his reflection, his fur had turned into a darker shade of blue, and his eyes turned to a deep purple. He just covers his face with his hands sobbing, he has never been happy when he arrived to a place like this, the only thing that's was keeping him going was, Shadow, Maria, and Shadic, but now seeing his friends talk about him as if he was a different person. Someone who was always so hopeful, so happy. He just places his hands onto the glass of the window, looking outside to the planet that he failed to protect, everyone looked up to him, and he failed them all. He whimpers as he just pulls his knees closer to his chest, sobbing to himself. "I...I'm a f-failure..." he whimpered out.

Shadow was holding Shadic's hand helping him walk a little better, he knew Sonic was suffering from something and he really wished he could help him, but he was in a coma for most of his time back on the Ark, he just lets out a sigh "I'm sorry...Sonic..." he mutters to himself, closing his eyes as some tears fall from his eyes. His ear twitches when he heard some banging, presses his hand to the wall closing his eyes, it was hard to feel the connection cause of the negative that was coming from everyone on the Ark but he found who he was looking for and it was Sonic though he couldn't make out what he was doing but it was enough for him to know where he was. Maria held onto Shadow, he wasn't sure if he should keep the kids with him, well he didn't have a choice he just Chaos Controls to the location, hopefully he can get there before Something happens to Sonic.

Sonic was just punching the wall, out of pure anger, frustration, and despair. He's quills are completely black but he still had those purple eyes, that were dull and lifeless, he just repeated to himself. Failure, with every single punched he made his knuckles getting blood from the amount of damage they were talking from him just punching at the wall, his muzzle stained with his tears, from him sobbing he falls to his knees pressed his forehead to the undamaged wall, sobbing to himself, he wanted to ended everything, but the reason he hadn't wasn't because he was weak...but because he didn't want to hurt more people than he'd already hurt, everyone saw him as a hero, and yet he wasn't able to stop Eggman from taking over the very planet he couldn't protect. He looks down at his own reflection of his blood and tears. "Look at you...N-Nothing..." he mocks to himself choking on his sobs "But a failure..." he tells himself.

"Sonic?..." Shadow said, he didn't want anything to happen to the two hedgehog pups, so he just left Maria to keep her brother away, while he tried to talk so sense to Sonic. The Dark Hedgehog shifted his attention to Shadow, to his eyes Shadow didn't look concerned about him, no he looked disgusted at him, it's what his dark form wanted him to see, want him feel.

"Sonic...I know your upset...but we can talk about this."
"Sonic I'm so glad that your upset, come on let's talk about how terrible of a hero you are."

"I'm not terrible!" Sonic growled standing up completely. Shadow blinks he was deeply confused cause he never said, he was terrible, but from the look on Sonic's hurt face that he was ready to fight, he wasn't going to fight his husband, though fight something negative with more negativity, is like fighting forest fire with a flamethrower.

"Sonic...please I don't want to hurt you," Shadow said taking a more of a defense stances.
"Sonic I'm gonna enjoy hurting you." Sonic growled before he charges up a spin dash throwing himself at Shadow. The ebony hedgehog only threw his arms up to block the spikes with his inhibitor rings, the force wasn't enough to push him back.

"Argh...Sonic, you need to s-snap out it..." Shadow stammers struggling with the Sonic's spin dash.
"Argh...you could never be a h-hero..."

"Lies!" Sonic growled uncurling and throwing a punch at the ebony hedgehog, who grunted taking the punch in his gut, he was designed to take damage hell even bullets but that doesn't mean he doesn't feel the pain, Shadow dodges another punch, his words weren't working or even reaching him, but he really didn't want retorted to violence, he just had to try harder.

"Come on Sonic...I know your still in there...I know you can fight it."
"Give up...you don't have a chance."

Sonic growled and just uses his other hand to punch Shadow hard in the face, making the ebony hedgehog stumble back, in this form he can punch hard, he didn't have a chance to react before he was knocked onto his back by the blue hedgehog's homing attack.

"D-Daddy!...Papa!" Maria and Shadic called out from their hiding place, the small female hedgehog who was holding Shadic in her arms like a stuffed animal both kids had tears in their eyes, Maria had never seen her parents fight before well not physically but she heard stories about them fighting and racing but this. This scared her, as for Shadic who was only one and a half years old, was mostly scared than anything.

Sonic just moves but Shadow didn't really get a chance to see where the dark hedgehog went, before Sonic just appeared in front of Shadow, hold only grabbed a hold of Sonic's bloody fist, that he just now noticed. "Argh...S-Sonic p-please..." Shadow struggles with his words and the fist that he was holding back. Sonic only gave Shadow an angry face because he just forces his other fist forward it was of course to fast for Shadow to hold it, he takes the punch to the face, making the ebony hedgehog flinch.

Maria turns her head away forcing Shadic to look away as well as she started to hug her brother tightly and cry softly she didn't know what to do, she didn't see Sonic as a monster...she knows that he was upset, but she just flinches with every punch, the sound of the dark hedgehog charging up a spin dash, and bouncing off of the walls.

Shadow just takes the beating, after all his body was made for it, if it will get Sonic to come to his senses than he's willing to take it. He stands up blood dripping from his mouth as he looks over at the dark hedgehog, taking a deep breath. "...I...love you...so much." He said out of breath. Sonic was about to throw a punch before his fist was grabbed again by Shadow, the dark hedgehog growled getting his other fist ready only to have that hand grabbed.

"Chaos..."

"Sonic..."

"Control!" The time slowed down, in front of Shadow's eyes that were widen, Sonic moved out of Shadow's gripping, taking his now sharpen claws he dug them into Shadow's skin leaving the ebony hedgehog covered in cuts they weren't deep but were enough to do damage. When Time came back Shadow let's out a yelp before falling to the ground, he look at his knee to see that there was a gash bleeding and preventing him from standing not that he wanted to, looking up at Sonic, he eyes were so lifeless, and the ebony hedgehog was prepared for the worst, at least he was going to die in the hands of his husband instead of Eggman's Robots.

"S-Stop!..." Maria said appearing in front of Shadow, who only blinked seeing his daughter get in between him and Sonic. Shadic hanging onto his sister's shoulders, for once this scene was familiar to the ebony hedgehog. "M-Mommy...p-please...comeback to us..." she whimpered tears streaming down her cheeks.

"M-Maria..." Sonic softly said.

"Mama...p-pwease..." Shadic choked out tears in his eyes. Shadow forces himself up from the floor he grunted, at least they had the dark hedgehog districted enough so he could get up.

"S-Shadic..."

Shadow tackles Sonic down to the ground, the dark hedgehog looked up to see Shadow, tears only formed in his eyes as the only thing that his dark form was showing him was a damaged version of Shadow, "I'm...S-Sorry...I c-couldn't save you..." he sobbed.

"Sonic?..." Shadow said looked down into Sonic's dull face.

Sonic swallows the lump in his throat, "I'm...S-Sorry Y-you had to marry a failure..." he choked out. "It should've been me..." he stammers turning his head away from Shadow would the corpse that was his husband. Shadow didn't know what do to help him snap out of this, he just grabs a hold of Sonic's face forcing the blue hedgehog to look at him, before forcing his lips onto Sonic's, the hedgehog's eyes widened, his eyes slowly turning back to his natural emerald green, and he kisses Shadow back, closing his eyes.

Maria wipes her tears away from her muzzle with her arm, she was glad to get Sonic from hurting Shadow.

Shadow pulls away from Sonic, breathing heavily, he looks into Sonic's eyes who was still tearing, and his fur was still black. "Sonic?"

"S-Shadow..." Sonic whimpered, the ebony hedgehog gets off of Sonic, the dark hedgehog looked at the wounds on Shadow and just started to hold a hand out to him shaking. "D-Did I do that?..."

"I'm fine Sonic...I'm designed to take a beating, though I can still feel pain..." Shadow explains takes a hold of Sonic's hand that was still cover in his blood from punching the wall.

"Mommy?..." Maria asked walking over, holding Shadic in her arms like a stuffed toy. "Mama?..." Shadic whimpers

"I'm...s-sorry..." Sonic swallows, Maria just hugs Sonic, Shadic did the same thing the two sobbing into the dark hedgehog.

Shadow used his other hand to notify the others that he found Sonic...but that he can take care of him, the way Sonic looks and how he snapped, it's just better that he took care of Sonic, after all he had a better way of trying to get Sonic to be his normal self, was with the people that he loved the most.
