|Third Person POV|

Sonic struggles to get up from the hospital bed he lets out huff, he was starting to lose his breath, he clinches his knees feeling his pup move, but it was more of a stretch, he was only eight months into his pregnancy now, and still no sign of Shadow, which made the hedgehog's ears droop to his head, he clinches his stomach. "Ah...I know...it's getting tight in there...you just have to wait a little longer, Shaundre." He said to his stomach before just taking the plush of himself and Shadow to presses the muzzles onto his stomach to mimic a kiss. It didn't really help much but at least it got the pup to calm down.

The metal door suddenly slide open and the blue hedgehog grunted clinching his stomach in pain from the pup suddenly kicking him from the loud sound of the metal door. "Oh my Chaos Sonic..." Sonia said going over to the blue hedgehog, Aleena right behind her, holding Maria's hand, Sonic just had some tears in the corner of his eyes, he was in so much cause of the pup.

Sonic lets out a breath finally being able to breath now cause of the pain of his pup moving and that sudden powerful kick. If he had the power to stretch out his womb he would. "Before you...ask, no I am not okay..." a growl escapes his throat at his sister.

"Oh Honey," Aleena said walking over to the bed pulling Maria up to sit on the bed.

"Hi Mommy..." Maria said hugging the blue hedgehog, who smiled and hugged her back, despite the pain he still can be gentle on his six year old daughter.

"Sorry for the startle Sweetheart." Aleena said rubbing his shoulder, she can see that the hedgehog was in pain, both ways physically and mentally. This kind of concerned her a little bit, the day is coming and fast.

"It's okay..." Sonic breathed out "He did wake me up already..." he added rubbing his eyes. Not that he was getting sleep, he just always found himself sobbing for Shadow before he just past out or not. He lets Maria give her attention to her sibling. "So...did you guys bring food?"

Sonia rolls her eyes and places the container of homemade food for Sonic on the table. Sonic gladly takes the container and started to eat his breakfast. He puts the container back on the table, he ate what he could his stomach was being smushed by the pup that was growing inside him, at least he was eating, which was always a concern with his friends, Maria nuzzles Sonic giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I miss you Mommy..."

"I know, I miss you too...Mar-Mar," Sonic responded just rubbing his cheek on her head, he really did wish Maria could stay with him for the last few months, but as much of a help as she was when he was pregnant without Shadow things really haven't been easy on him. "But, when Mommy comes to pick you up, he's not gonna be allow..."

"Yeah, cause Baby Brother, will be with Mommy...and I'm gonna be the best big sister every!" Maria said her tail wagging as she held onto Sonic's hands, he pulls Maria into a hug snuggling her. "And you already do a good job at it." He purrs. Maria only giggles.

Aleena just takes a picture of her son and niece, with a smile on her face "I knew you'd make a good Mother, Sonic." She said.

"Of course...Mommy is a good Mommy." Maria agreed.

"And I'm your favorite Auntie, Right?" Sonia asked Maria with a smile, only stopped to think. "No Auntie Rouge is my favorite." Sonia gasp before she started to tickles Maria making the small hedgehog giggle.

"Alright...Sonia, I think you should get Maria to Silver, so she can start her training today." Sonia nodded, Maria nuzzles Sonic, before he just gives the small hedgehog a kiss on the cheek. "You be nice to Uncle Silver..."

"Okay Mommy." Maria said, Sonia waves Sonic goodbye before taking Maria's hand and leading her out of the room.

Sonic lets out a huff before adjusting himself on the bed to be sitting on the edge of the bed. Aleena watched her son. "I'm proud of you Sonic...I mean look how far you've grown, she putts her hand on his stomach rubbing it.

"I know Mom...I couldn't have done it without Shadow, I just hope my impression of my husband...is good enough for him." Sonic said looking down at his bulging stomach, he smiles softly. Aleena only shakes her head "I'm sure he'll recognize his own Father, if anything he probably has a chaos connection like his sister..."

"I hope so..." Sonic admits as he gets down to walk around the room, he pops his back the pillows on the hospital bed really wasn't doing good for his back, he holds his as he walked to the restroom. Aleena looks at the plush that was on the table before looking away, a small sigh escapes her lips he was gonna be spending the last month with her son, that is until Shadow can get his memories back in time, but she highly doubts it. Her ear twitches when she heard the bathroom door open and the blue hedgehog just slips the jacket back on his body. She only chuckles. "Leaking?" She asked.

"I get it...that I was born a female, but did that part of my body also had to heal." Sonic grumbles before just flinching from a kick, he breaths out softly "Okay...Okay, most of healing problems...are because of the chaos emeralds"

"But?"

"I never want to have another fucking kid..." Sonic growls. Aleena only chuckles walking over to him to give him support.

"At least be glad your not having Quadruplets...Oh I still remember the look on your father's face when the Doctor said we were having four instead of three." She said helping Sonic back onto the bed. The azure hedgehog only frowns.

"I still give Scourge shit for blocking me..." Sonic admits, before he shakes his head "But yeah I'm glad that I'm only having one kid...I'll feel bad for the other three, who get to be that lucky, but...Thanks Mom, If it wasn't for you and Dad, I probably wouldn't have the confidence to be were I am today..."

Aleena hugs her son, well gives him a side hug cause she didn't was crush the pup. "No problem Huh, out of all four kids... Sonia was the only one interested in being a queen." She lets out a sigh "Just glad you didn't end up like your Twin Brother Scourge."

Sonic smiles as he just felt tears forming in his eyes, he really owned his family a lot, being with him through all the struggles that he went through, but he also had to give thanks to all his friends as well, they maybe annoying but at least they were there for him.

And Shadow? He was mad at him at first cause of of giving him a second kid, but he really meant a lot to the azure hedgehog and seeing him the way that was up to this point, made him the way that he is now. He didn't tell anyone that felt the way that he did cause he wanted his son to be born in a place with smiles inside of sadness, but he was unsure what he was gonna do when his son is born. He just nuzzles into his Mom's arm as if this was gonna be the last time he was gonna see her. Which isn't true?

Right?

|Inside Shadow's Mind POV|

Shadow looks at the necklace that was around his neck. There was a lot that he had to remember, like Sonic's Family, and his friends. Were they his friends too? He didn't really know that much, only that out of Sonic's big family him and Sonic were only two that have kids. Except for Tails. He just sat down on the dark ground it didn't feel wet surprisingly, he just waited for his best friend to show up, so they could continue with the ride down memory lane. His ear twitches when he heard something, but it wasn't inside his mind, No it was happening outside.

"What was that?"

"Oh my chaos! It's time?!"

"Time fo-"

He was caught of guard by an agonizing scream, he knew that Scream it was Sonic. Was he hurt? Is he dying?

"Your son is being born."

"My son?"

Shadow asked, he remembers Maria, his daughter but Sonic was pregnant again this time with a boy. He can feel him starting get concerned about cause of the screaming of his husband. Of course he wasn't shown how Maria was born since his brain can fill in the pieces.

"I need to be there!?"

"Your not ready..."

"What the FUCK do you mean!?"

The human shows him, his eyes widen at the chart of his body, he had massive bullet wounds all over the important placement of his back the places that couldn't be healed by his self-healing gene, that's why he couldn't move his body it was dangerous for him to be out of the tank, since the wounds would just bleed and he'll be back here. He felt tears starting to form in the corner of his eyes, he really wasn't one to cry, but this was something that Sonic really needed him for, and now he wasn't there to be support to him. When he needed him the most.

"Shadow?"

"Damnit!!..."

He said just falling to his knees, the screams of his husband just filled his mind and he couldn't do anything to help him. Those Scientists knew that he wasn't gonna be ready for his Son's arrival, but they also didn't want his husband to be more stressed out than he already was. He felt the human hug him as in to tell him she was sorry, he wasn't mad at her since she was the biggest help for restoring his memory, but he blames Eggman, for knowing something that G.U.N doesn't all he can do now is just listen his husband scream out, he was gonna have to thank his Parent-in-Laws, for being there for his husband when he couldn't.

|Third Person POV|

Sonic's eyes widen he heard his son crying and squeaking, that it just made him start to cry, held his arms out to his son.

"Congratulations, you have a very healthy baby boy."  The nurse said giving the crying hedgehog over to Sonic. A tiny dark indigo hedgehog, quills that are similar to Shadow's, a red stripe that that runs down from his forehead to his first spike, five red long bangs that swoop downwards and curl upwards, red marking on the side of his eyes, a red patch on his back that only reach up to his back spikes and cover his tail, the patch on the side of his body had blue spots, red arms that only end up to his quarter of the way on his arm, and red legs and paws that only covers half of the way to his thigh, peach muzzle and underbelly with a little chest fluffy, his eyes were a grayish green, Sonic only sniffs before holding him close, he's perfect.

"W...Welcome to the world Shaundre Terios Hedgehog..." Sonic said to the tiny hedgehog in his arms. Aleena only smiles as she just nodded at the nurse that is his name, but nicknamed Shadic.

"He's beautiful Sonic..." Aleena said to her son, Sonic only wipes away his tears, he was happy to see his son when healthy. "I'll let Tails in." She tells Sonic, giving her son a kiss on the cheek and the tiny newborn hedgehog, the metal door slides open.

Tails steps into the room, his son running over. Maria had a smile on her face, even though her muzzle was stained with tears, her hand glows a light purple color and she floats over to the bed gently placing herself down onto the bed. Skylar flying with his twin tails before landing opposite of Maria.

"This is your little brother Maria, Shadic..." Sonic tells her, showing Shadic to her, the tiny hedgehog only sniffs, Maria's tail wags and she smiles "H-Hi...Shadic, I'm Maria...and I just know you and I are gonna be great friends..." she said to the tiny hedgehog, who's ears perked up he recognized her voice.

"A-And I'm Skylar, I'm your cousin..." Skylar said softly Shadic squeaks in response, Sonic just brings Shadic back to him, and just gives the tiny hedgehog a kiss on his little forehead. "I can see that you'd like some alone time."

"Thank you, Tails," Sonic said to his best friend, Tails only smiles before motioning the kids to come with him, they have plenty of time to visit Sonic and Shadic, the metal door opens and a the three walked out a nurse comes into the room with a bassinet with Shadic's name on it and a medical band that was puts on the newborn's wrists, "I'm come back to check on you Mister Hedgehog." The nurse said taking her leave again.

Shadic whimpers and nuzzling up Sonic's chest, who just moved his jacket, the newborn started to suck on the blue hedgehog's nipple, purring and drinking the milk from his body. Sonic just had his ears flatten to his head as he was just supporting Shadic with his arm the newborn was that tiny enough to fit in the palm of his hand, and he would only stay that small until his fourth birthday, he just looks at the door, Shadow didn't make it to his son's birth.

Did his friends know more than he did, about his husband?

He looks down at Shadic who was finished, Sonic just brings the Shadow plush over to Shadic. "This is your Dad...I know you couldn't see him in person, but this is the c...closest thing to him" Sonic stumbles on his words but he just gives the stuff toy Shadic. Who took it and nuzzles into it purring, Sonic only blinks he was grateful for the Chaos Connection. He just puts Shadic into the bassinet that was next to his bed, before laying down on his side and starts to tear up softly, he just wanted Shadow now. He really hope his friends weren't keeping a secret from him, if so he'd really like to know what it was. If it was about Shadow he has the right to know. He just clutches the jacket tightly painfully curl in on himself.
