Sonic looks at the gray inhibitor rings on his wrists, he didn't know what they do, but he didn't was to take them off either so he just leave them be. "Mama..." Shadic called out tears in the corner of his eyes, reaching out to Sonic, Shadow was trying to feed him with some of the formula, that he was refusing to eat, "No...Shadic, your Daddy isn't poisoning you I promise." Sonic responded rubbing underneath the pup's chin. Shadow just smiles cradling Shadic in his arms. "He has even let me chance to put it in mouth..." he tells Sonic.

Shadic only whimpers sniffing before he was about to cry, but Shadow gently pushes the nipple of the baby bottle into Shadic's mouth. The pup started to suck on it, drinking the formula that was inside the bottle, it didn't taste right to him. In tasted terrible, he just shoves it out of mouth making a disgusted face at the bottle before sobbing. "Come on...Shaundre, it's not any different from Mommy's milk."

Sonic blinks before a blush formed on his cheeks he didn't thing he let Shadow try any of his milk, it's only been two weeks since they got back to their home on the Ark, and the blue hedgehog was relieved, he was getting tired of moving from to place, helping the other Mobians get motivation to continue about their normal lives even if they lost their loved ones. He gave a speech that morning to help keep his people motivated, but he wasn't a leader, despite what others tell him. "Come on Shadic...just one more try." Shadow tells the pup who only gave the ebony hedgehog an angry look on his face and just turns his head when the bottle was pushed closer to his face.

"Here Shadow..." Sonic said handing over another baby bottle that was filled with milk. "What is in that one..."

Sonic cheeks were a bright shade of red, "Well...Mom gave me this thing, that is us to-" he felt a finger on his lips "I don't want to hear more...but I'll take your word." He said just holding the bottle up to Shadic's face, the pup sniffs it before letting the ebony hedgehog put into his mouth, and he started to drink from bottle. "We can start doing it in halves..."

Maria hugs Sonic's hips whimpering, she's been beside him for two hours waiting patiently, she's getting better with sharing the attention with her younger sibling, and helping with keeping him entertained. "Okay okay...Thank you for waiting." The blue hedgehog said picking up Maria, and giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"Only been here for a week, and everyone is asking for your attention, Hero of Mobius." Shadow said kissing his husband on the ear.

"I know...I don't mind it, if anything it makes me feel special." Sonic said "Now what is it Mar-Mar?"

"Spin!" She said her tail wagging.

"Maria..." Sonic said, she knows that his daughter wants to know how to spin dash, but he really can't teach her cause the Ark isn't actually that safe, well it is but he doesn't have a way to train her, it's not like Chaos Abilities where they can go into a field and practiced it's More of needs a track, and the track that's on the Ark is outside and in Space. He lets out a sigh, he's probably gonna regret teaching her inside, but he could use the fresh air, "Are you gonna be okay If I take her?"

Shadow kisses Sonic's cheek, "Of course, I can handle him being fussy." Sonic nodded and puts Maria down who already had her shoes on, and ran to the door, she know the code to open it, nor could she reach the number pad that was installed. Sonic slips his shoes on and his cropped top jacket over his black short sleeved hooded shirt, turning on his communicator. Punching the numbers in and the door slides open, Maria runs out excited, Sonic only sighs he waves Shadow good bye before bolting off after his daughter, the metal door shutting behind him.

Shadic whimpers "Mama..." he said. "He'll come back Shadic, you have here with you..." Shadow tells the pup, who bursted into tears, the pup was very much attached to Sonic, than Shadow which kind of annoyed the ebony hedgehog. But he knows it's just because the pup just relies on the blue hedgehog a lot, Shadow pats his back before sitting on the floor with the pup, to let him roam the pup whimpers before starting crawl on the floor, it was gonna be a long afternoon. Shadow kept an ear out as well as had Jazz keep an eye on the pup, he opens the cabinet for a mug, he gets down a random mug that had the G.U.N logo on it, closing the cabinet he pours himself a cup of coffee. It felt weird being on the Ark, after being away from this place, he heard a knock on the metal door getting up and scooping up his son, he opens the door.

"Hey Shadow..." It was Tails, after what happened with Sonic a few days ago he kind of didn't want to talk to the Fox, but he moved out of the way to let Tails into the room. The door sliding shut. "Where's Sonic."

"He took Maria...to teach her how to Spin Dash." Shadic was sucking on his thumb, so far he only knows Sonic and Maria, but he knows that Shadow is his dad cause of the chaos connection.

"Ah, well I wanted to talk you about Metal."

"Really? Did you get anything from that bucket of bolts?"

"Not that I could tell...I told Aleena and Jules about it, So the Ark is on defense." Tails looks at Shadic before he looked away. Shadow puts the pup down who crawled over to Tails' tails and starts to play with them, purring and nuzzling them, liking how fluffy they are. "Heh Careful Shaundre." He said moving his tails Shadic giggling hanging on them.

"But how are you doing? I know coming back to the place where, nothing but bad memories are for you." He said to Shadow, the ebony hedgehog only sips his coffee before looking at Tails, he doesn't hate being on the space station. After all it was the only place they could move the entire population of Mobians, if anything if him and Sonic didn't have the kids he'd convince the blue hedgehog to stay on Mobius and fight, "It's not all bad memories...Miles sure I don't want my gets to grow up in a place where the only interactions of Mobian Wildlife is being on the Ark. "Just wish they didn't have to grow up here."

"I can understand that...G.U.N is keeping me busy, but I take what I can to help Miles out, so I appreciate Sonic bringing Maria over and seeing the two play." Tails said with a smile before he frowned and pulled Shadic over to into his with his tails, holding the pup in his arm. "Look Shadow I'm sorry I didn't tell you...I honestly didn't know that's what Tikal needed to do that."

"It's fine Miles, I'm over it, as for G.U.N, I know they appreciate your help" Shadow said placing a hand on his shoulder. "If anything I'm just glad to have him back..."

Shadic holds his arms out to Shadow, he takes the pup in his arms being careful with his coffee to not spill it onto the pup, since it was still hot. He didn't mind having Tails over if anything he should really spend time with Sonic's family, if he was married to the hero, he puts Shadic on the table that was in front of him. "You like you got something on your mind..."

"It's Sonic...Don't get me wrong, that Speech he gave, was of course inspiring, but..." Tails started, Shadow pushes his mug away from Shadic even though it was empty, he just didn't want the pup to get hurt.

"But?" He was in the crowd watching the speech take place, with Amy and Blaze, who took Maria and Shadic so he could have some alone with the blue hedgehog, he can't remember the last time him and Sonic actually had relaxation. Probably during their honeymoon on the Emerald Islands in Mobius. He gives Shadic one of his inhibitor rings to play with, as long as he had three one he'd be fine, Shadic just started to suck on the ring that was big on him to wear but he can hold it.

"It's his Dark form I'm worried about...I know he's not that kind of person to get angry unless is someone he really cares about getting hurt...and I could've sworn as soon as Scourge brought your body back...Knuckles could feel that he was about to lose it..." Tails puts a hand on his head, remembering the memories of the first time he actually met Dark Sonic, and how quick the hedgehog was at completely destroy those robots.

"And nothing will happen...like that." Shadow tells the fox. "Look Miles, as soon as we get information out of Metal...is when we can start to worry."

Tails blinks before a smile formed on his muzzle, before turning his attention to Shadic. "So has he shown signs of anything special?"

"Besides being clingy...no, I don't even know if he has chaos abilities." Shadow said letting out a sigh, he just nuzzles the pup's side of his head. "Though he is only two weeks...but he's getting there." He stated.

"Well I know you and Sonic can do it, I mean look how Maria turned out." Tails smiled as he turned to take his leave he had a lot of work to do. "I knew Sonic made the right choice...we told me that he couldn't get you out of his mind..." the door opens for him, he had a smile on his face "See you around Shadow." He said walking into the hallway.

"D-Da..." Shadic started as he was crawling over to Shadow wanting to be held by the ebony hedgehog. Shadow chuckles, picking Shadic up and cradling him. "You'd were fine without Mommy..." he said to his son putting the ring back of his wrist, Shadic purrs and nuzzles his head into Shadow's chin, "Da." He purred.

Shadow lays down on the sofa on his back with Shadic laying on him, who just sat up still purring.

"Chow!" Jazz said resting herself onto Shadow's head to look over Shadic incase he fell off of the couch. Shadow just held Shadic's hands so that he could stand up, the ebony hedgehog had a smile on his muzzle. He pulls his hands away leaving Shadic to stand on his own. The pup looks down at Shadow before he stumbled onto the ebony hedgehog's chest. He whimpers.

"You're okay...I'm not gonna let you fall." Shadow tells him giving Shadic a kiss on his forehead, the pup purrs before a yawn escapes his mouth and he just cuddles into his father. To take a nap. Shadow pulls Shadic to the side of his chest, He hopes Sonic isn't going over board with the training, but he trust his husband. Maria is stronger than she looks.

Shadow couldn't stop thinking about what Sonic was saying during his Speech, if anything everything that the blue hedgehog said was true, they have lost a lot that day but it's not worth grieving over, you can still  make the most of everything. He looks at the door he still feel like that people are gonna take his words to a different meaning, but whatever they do they shouldn't do it by themselves, who knows what Eggman is planning on Mobius and Metal...Shadow still needs answers from the robot, if it's hiding something the colony should be ready for it.
