[Zenji POV]

Today I meet with the head of the Yakuza crime syndicate. He will be the key to me growing the ranks of the Hidden Lotus. Once I close an alliance, I will wipe the smirk of of my damned mothers face, while I claim the power I deserve. I walk in and I see a man, with a scar by his left eye, looking at a sword.

"You must be Zenji Kunasai. I had a feeling you would show up." says the man.

"It is a great honor to meet you, Boss Gemma Roshi." I Say to him while bowing.

"So have you considered my offer?" Gemma asks me.

"Yes, I have given it some thought. It would be an honor, to have you as new servants to the Hidden Lotus clan." I reply. Gemma cracks a smile.

"You know, I have some conditions; One, you make me a high ranking officer in your clan. And two, You will be the new leader of the Yakuza, with no one to stop you from attaining the power you so desire." says Gemma.

"This is a very magnanimous condition, but, not one to decline... very well, you will be my commander, you will lead my new army." I say to Gemma.

"So what is our first agenda?" asks Gemma.

"Gather the Yakuza council, they deserve to know the next era of Japan's power." I reply. Gemma makes a call to the crime council and he sets up a meeting. Everything is falling into place for me, I will have unlimited power.

[Kai POV]

I sit on the rooftops, meditating in the pale moonlight that brightens the night sky.

"Meditating in the night?" asks Ako, who is standing next to the rooftop doorway.

"Yes." I reply.

"Mind if I join you?" Ako asks.

"You may." I reply. Ako sits beside me and we begin to talk.

"I never got to ask you but, are you..."

I then finish her sentence by saying, "...A ninja from the Yellow Viper ninja clan? Yes."

"I am the clans most lethal ninja, The Shogun saw my talents and she gave me the job of being her bodyguard." I explain.

Ako then says to me, "So she made you become her bodyguard? Sounds kind of forced to me."

I then reply, "Actually, I wanted the job, I chose to be The Shogun's protector."

Ako sighs and says, "My apologies, it's just that I have a problem with forced destiny's. I believe in making your own destiny."

"So do I." I reply to Ako.

"The Shogun also believes that you are the perfect successor to her reign as Shogun. She knows that you do not fear danger, pain, defeat, or ridicule. But there is one thing you do fear..."

Ako then asks, "And what is that one thing?"

I then reply, "Being unable to protect your loved ones."

"You are right. That is my greatest fear, my greatest dread." Ako admits.

"Ako, there is only so much I know about you, from what the Shogun told me. But I would like to know more." I say to her.

"Well, I am not exactly Asian per se, my mother was American." says Ako.

"So that explains your appearance. Wow!" I reply.

"Yes, I am half American." Ako says.

"What about you? You don't seem Asian to me." says Ako.

"I, am not Asian at all... quite frankly, I'm a full blooded American." I say to her.

"Then how did you come here to Japan?" Ako wonderd.

"My parents were killed in a mob execution one day and... I don't know, my master found me. He brought me over to Japan, gave me a family... he gave me a home." I say softly.

"It's good that you still have a clan, mine was killed all because of Shogun Kumamoto's plan." says Ako.

"Well for what it's worth, Kumamoto believes in you, but she wants this to be your choice." I say to her.

"I thought she wanted me to replace her." says Ako.

"She does, but she wants it to be on your terms, she wants you to use your own free will." I say to her.

"And here I thought she was trying to force this upon me." says Ako.

"You could be a great Shogun, because your clan believed in you, your parents believed in you, WE, believe in you." I say to Ako.

"Guys, it's time." says Yashin.

"Remember, you must get close to Zenji." The Shogun says.

"Once we find out Zenji's plan, we strike." Says Pai.

"No! We wait, until the right moment, then we strike, but only when her guard is down." says Ako.

"I agree, we have to play this carefully." says Yayan.

"Agreed..." says The Shogun. We put on our disguises and we go to the Yakuza crime syndicate building for Zenji's meeting. Once inside, we await Zenji and the rest of the Yakuza crime syndicate members.

"Good evening, crime council of the Yakuza. I am glad you all could make it, tonight begins a new age for the country of Japan. You will all take your rightful place as members of the Hidden Lotus clan." says Zenji.

"Our operation is a small one, but I see the potential in this room. So which of you would like to join me?" Zenji asks the room full of Yakuza suits as they all raise their hands.

"Oh, there is only a handful of spots open right now, so we are going to have... Tryouts." Zenji says. Zenji orders one of her elite guards to hand everyone a sword. The guards is a woman named Renmmaru Yogi. She is a silent warrior, who is known for her ferocity in battle.

"Now that all of you have weapons, I would like for you all to erase the memories of the past, so that you can take your rightful place as the titans of the future." says Zenji.

"Kill all of these relics!" She orders. The Yakuza suits begin to mercilessly butcher the crime council, it was a firestorm of blood and gore infused chaos. When the bloody massacre settled, all of the suits remain standing, but covered in blood.

"Outstanding, you all are now the new crime council. I may be the head of this new council, but you all are the leaders of the new generation." says Zenji. For a woman who just betrayed her own mother, I admire her passion and ambition. I only wish she was on the right side.

"Now all that is left, is to kill my mother and take her place as Shogun, I will become the most powerful ruler of Japan!" says Zenji.

"Jaguar, Renmmaru, I want you to kill the ninja known as Ako Kusanagi. On second thought, bring her to me alive! I want to look in her eyes as I end her worthless life." the ninjas then nod and they teleport away.

"My reign has begun." Zenji says to herself.

[Pai POV]

"My god, how can anyone be so cruel and heartless?" asks Yashin.

"It's simple, she was born with hate and anger in her heart." Ako replies.

"So what now? You heard Zenji, she now has her whole elite Hidden Lotus guard looking for you." I say to Ako.

"Well I know one thing for sure, we are not going to run, I'm going to kill Zenji and her little rat pack." says Ako.

"That's a coincidence, so am I!" We hear the Shogun's voice in the distance.

"If we are going to stop them, we have to do something that Zenji would not expect us to do." suggests The Shogun.

"And what would that be?" I ask.

"We fight. Zenji is expecting us to run, but we are going to fight." says Ako.

"You do realize, that we are going up against the remaining Hidden Lotus Ninjas and the entire Yakuza crime syndicate?" I ask her

"Yeah." says Ako.

"Then we need a plan." says Takashiri.

"Here's an idea, we attack each branch of the crime syndicate, dismantling it systematically." Kai suggests.

"Leaving the main branch vulnerable and powerless." says Yashin.

"I think we have our plan." says Ako.

"I have a map of all of the branches that we will hit." The Shogun then pulls out a large map, that shows the branches of operations that power the Yakuza crime syndicate.

"The Yakuza crime syndicate, runs on these branches of crime. If most of them die, the main branch falls apart." says The Shogun.

"So, which one will we dissect first?" asks Kai.

"We will start with the wind branch first, then we will slowly work our way up." says The Shogun.

"OK. We have our plan, but first, we all need to train together. We will need to be ready." says Ako.

"Understood." I reply. Later on that day, we regroup to the rooftop to train together.

"Today, we are going to work on teamwork, unity and coordination. Zenji will see right through us, if we don't work together." says Ako.

"Yashin, you will team up with Pai, to face Kumamoto and Kai." says Ako.

"Begin!" I launch the first attack, as we charged at each other.
