[Ako POV]

"I really hope you'll forgive me..." says Kai.

"Forgive you for what?" I ask her.

"For this!" Kai says and she begins to attack me. I manage to defend myself, until I got the upper hand. We traded attacks like wildfire for an intense five minutes. To end this fight, I kick Kai in the stomach, knocking her back in the process.

"Good." Kai says, stopping the fight.

"Why did you attack me?" I ask her.

"Well, I had to be sure." Kai says.

"Sure of what?" I ask.

"That you were everything the Shogun said you were. Kai says.

"You could have just asked." I say with sarcasm in my voice.

"No, you do not know someone, until you fight them." says Kai.

"Ako!" Yashin calls out.

"Yes Yashin, what is it?" I ask her.

"The Shogun is awake." Yashin takes me and Kai to the Shogun's room. Once we enter, I see the Shogun not only awake, but fully healed. How did she heal so quickly?

"Hello Ako..." says The Shogun.

"I have questions, you mind answering a few of them?" I ask her.

"You can ask me anything Ako, I have nothing to hide." The Shogun says.

"Alright, first question, what happened to you?" I ask her.

"I was betrayed, by my daughter Zenji. But I can clearly state that she is no longer my daughter." The Shogun says.

"Why did your daughter betray you?" I ask.

"She betrayed me, because of you. I favored a ninja of the Rising Sun, instead of my own daughter. Zenji, from the time she was a little girl, wanted to be my successor. So she constantly tried to prove herself to me." says The Shogun.

"I was proud of my daughter, until she committed an act of treason." The Shogun says.

"What was this atrocious act she performed?" I asked her.

"Genocide... on the entire Rising Sun clan." she replies.I then have a look of shock on my face. So she was behind the slaughter of my family and clan.

"What was her reason for killing my family?" I ask her.

"She was angry, for the fact that I chose you to lead Japan as the new Shogun." The Shogun says.

"And you let this happen? You should've kept a short leash on your kid!" I shout to her.

"You are right Ako! I should have kept Zenji at bay, but now I realize that that there was a side of Zenji I could not control! My daughter is beyond saving, therefore she must die." The Shogun says to me.

"So I guess we both have a grievance with your daughter." I say.

"I can see you want revenge, I will help you, on one condition." The Shogun says to me.

"Name it." I say to her.

"You are out for revenge, I am out to end what Zenji is trying to accomplish. She has formed an alliance with the Yakuza crime syndicate and she plans to take over the country." The Shogun says.

"So I help you stop the Yakuza... and Zenji will be vulnerable against me?" I ask.

"Yes, you will have Zenji all to yourself and you can exact your vengeance." says The Shogun.

"Do you know where your daughter is?" I ask her.

"Yes, she is in the city of Tokyo." says The Shogun.

"OK, I will help you stop the Yakuza, but, it will be my way... and my friends." I say to her.

"I have had a feeling you would say that, which is why I took the liberty of getting us a way into Tokyo." says The Shogun.

I talk to Yashin and Pai about our new mission.

"Tokyo? We're going to Tokyo?" asks Yashin.

"Yes, the person that ordered the hit on my family is there. I'm going to help The Shogun stop her from destroying Japan." I say to them.

"You know we can't let you go alone, we're your friends... we will have your back on this one." says Yashin.

"You took the words out of my mouth Yashin." I say to them.

"So this Zenji, she is the one who orchestrated the slaughter of your clan?" Pai  asks

"Yes... and apparently, she is the one who betrayed her own mother." I reply.

"I don't know Ako, we just walked into a full scale family feud that we are smack dab in the middle of." says Pai.

"I don't care, Zenji will pay for her crimes!" I say to him.

"You know there is an old saying, 'Revenge is never a straight line, it is a forest. And like a forest, it is easy to lose your way." says Kai.

"Are you saying that I have lost my way?" I ask Kai.

"I am saying, that all you want is revenge, vengeance for the destruction of your family and clan. After you get want you want, what will be next for you?" Says Kai.

"I guess I will cross that bridge, when I come around to it." I say to her. We grab all of our gear and weapons and we meet The Shogun outside. We then see her standing next to a limousine.

"What is this, why do you have a limo for us?" Pai asks the Shogun.

"In order to stop the Yakuza, we must do it from the inside." says The Shogun.

"So we are becoming Yakuza members?" asks Pai.

"Yes, It is the only way to get close to Zenji and take her down." I say to Pai. Six hours later, we arrive in Tokyo Japan, the city has changed much, since I was last here.

"Ako, didn't you say you went to school here?" asks Yayan.

"Yashin, I am not here to reminisce." I say to her.

"OK... Sorry I asked." Yashin says.

"Hey! She just asked you a question." says Pai.

"Do I look like I am in a mood for questions?" I ask Pai rhetorically.

"No, you look like a woman, who is so hell bent on revenge, that she does not care who she hurts." Pai says to me.

"The only person that will be hurt, is Kumamoto's bitch of a daughter." I say to her. We follow Kumamoto to a secret warehouse, near a waterfront of Tokyo.

"What are we doing here?" asks Pai.

"You'll see..." says Kai. The Shogun shows us a map of Japan, with red marks all over certain spots.

"What is this?" I ask The Shogun.

"This is my plan for Japan, these red marks indicate the clans that would be part of the one-clan kingdom." says The Shogun.

"All the clans, united under one new kingdom... why would your daughter fight against this vision?" asks Pai.

"Because she wanted to take my place, instead, I gave my position to Ako." says The Shogun.

"And she had Ako's clan killed out of jealousy." says Kai.

"What do you want us to do?" I ask.

"You will all be posing as Hidden Lotus ninjas and your mission, is to find out what is Zenji planning with the Yakuza crime syndicate." says The Shogun.

"Ako, I know you want revenge, but don't forget, we have a deal. You help me, Zenji will be all yours." says The Shogun.

"I know, I will hold up my end of the deal." I reply.

"Good, all of you, do not blow this, we only have one shot at stopping Zenji's plan." I have disdain for wearing the colors of the Hidden Lotus, but I must do whatever it takes to exact my vengeance... whatever it takes.
