"Butter slick escape. Feat, say it with me--" Jack started trying to get Dirk and Jill to say it with him

"Nope."

"Not happening"

"Complete!" Jack finished

"Not saying it." Jill and Dirk said

Jill drove into the backyard and parked the car. Jack got out and made his way to Quint to give him a mission update, Jill, on the other hand, was staring into space gripping the wheel hard making her hands turn white. "Hey, you okay?" she snapped her head to see Dirk looking at her with concern. Feeling her face warm up she turned away from him "Yeah I'm fine, totally not like I almost died!" That came out harder than she meant for it.

Dirk looked at her before noticing that her hands were still gripping the wheel, not thinking he took hold of her right hand and un-gripped it, Jill looked at him once more which made Dirk realize what he was doing so he let go of her hand and turned away. Though if anyone else was in the car with them then the light blush on the duo's faces would be plainly obvious.

"Come on let's go," Jill said before getting out of the car, Dirk in pursuit. "So you didn't find June?" Quint inquired, it might have just been Jill but she could have sworn she could hear iteration in Quint's voice, "Nope something better!" Dirk threw the ping pong table down in front of Quint "PING-PONG! ta-da"

Quint stayed silent looking at the table before back at Dirk, "So you two just gonna stand there, or are you gonna play?" Jill asked the two before tossing a paddle at each of them. Quint and Dirk looked at each other before smiling as they started playing, Jill was the referee.

Jack looked at the trio and smiled to himself but he turned around when he heard the faint roar of Blarg, "Ah come on! can't I enjoy this for one minute?" he grumbled, and Jack walked over to Quint, "So no big deal or anything, but there may or may not be a giant monster looking for me." this made Quint stop what he was doing looking at Jack

"WHAT!?" Quint asked shocked, "Oh and that giant monster almost killed us," Jill said now remembering why she was so scared a couple of moments ago, "And you let us waste time playing Ping-Pong?" Quint questioned.

"Okay, first of all, playing Ping-Pong is never a waste of time, and second, seeing that we now know that my idiot brother, is being stalked by a monster we should upgrade the tree house," Jill stated which made the boys look at her in confusion, "You know put defense around mechanisms, to defend our selves?" she explained earning a course of 'oh' from the boys.

"I swear I'm surrounded by idiots." Jill pinched the bridge of her nose before walking off to get paper and a pencil to draw up some plans.

(A/N: I'm just gonna skip the part about them upgrading the tree house, cause I'm lazy and I do not want to write all that. 😅)

Jill looked at the newly upgrade tree house and smiled they had really done a good job with it. They had placed soda rockets at the top under some wheelbarrow catapults, Dirk being the strongest put wooden spikes around the outside, they even had a moat!

Jack crossed off a feat from the twins' "Feat to complete list"

"So let's get back to the search," Jack said putting his hands on his hips while looking at the tree house. "Actually Jack, Dirk, Jill, and I were talking-" Quint began before being cut off by Jack "Aw buddy discussion, we're already like the three amigos."

"Ahem, bro what am I? A roach?" Jill raised an eyebrow while pointing to herself, her irritated voice made Jack chuckle nervously "I-I mean the FOUR amigos." Jill just rolled her eyes before letting Quint continue, "As I was saying, we realized that the town is quite large, so we thought it be best to split up so we can cover more ground."

Dirk then tossed a makeshift saddle at Jack, which he caught "It's a saddle, Thanks?" Jill chuckled at her brother's expression, " It's for Rover silly." She pointed at the said monster dog who shot up the moment he heard his name.

Jack saddled up Rover and got on, still looking unsure "Wow thanks, guys. This is amaz-!" Jack was then carried off by Rover, who was chasing a butterfly. Quint, Dirk, and Jill all looked to where Jack had been carried off before Quint held up two paddles smiling at Jill and Dirk "Shall we continue?"

Before either of them could answer Jack's yells could be heard, and the trio looked again to see Rover jumping over a fence to get the butterfly. Dirk turned back to Quint and snatched the paddle from his hand, "We shall, Jill?" "Heck yeah!"

The three of them walked over to the Ping-Pong table and began playing

After a while, Dirk and Jill were facing each other in Ping-Pong, when Rover jumped over the table startling them, "I know where June is."
