"Corporal Tiger-Pant's to Captain Danger and Jill-Nova!" Quint's voice is heard waking both of the twins up "Jack, Jill, are you guys receiving?" said twins rush over to the walkie talkie, Jack falling down multiple times, because of his excitement. Jill grabbed the Talkie turn in it on "Quint! We're here! Jill on the mic." "AND JACK!" Jack screamed

"Jill, Jack! Yes!" Quint yelled over the walkie talkie

"You're not dead!" The boy twin said looking relieved

"Neither are you two!" Quint sounded equally relieved

All three of them laughed and did a little victory dance "I'm really happy you're alive, Quint. We both are." Jill said while Jack wiped away a tear, "I feel the same way." Quint replied "I'm really happy I'm alive, too." That made Jill roll her eyes 'Same old Quint', while Jack's face on the other hand morphed into a 'really man?' look before it changed into a determined face "Jill and I are on our way!" Jack said before turning off the talkie and running to a map of the town that Jill had set up, so that the twins could hopefully avoid monsters and zombies when they went out.

"Okay. Now to get to Quint's house." Jack said before somehow changing into a military outfit "Men." Jack started, "Ahem, twin sister right here." Said a slightly ticked off Jill "AND woman, this won't be easy." "The path is perilous. Zombie hordes. Dozer lairs. Monstrous, vine-thingy jungles." Jack pointed to each picture representing a danger

"And the big guys, Octogtute, Tentaclefiend. And who knows what else?" Jack then turned around and took off the military helmet "Time to suit up." The twins grabbed anything they thought would help them, Jack grabbed his broken baseball bat and a hockystick, Jill not having a weapon, grabbed balloons that were filled with something persuadable toxic as there was a skull with cross bones drawn on them and stuffed them in a carry on bag that she strapped around her.

Jack grabbed a Gatorade and started drinking from it, a little bit too fast, as he then started to cough from the liquid going down the wrong pipe, 'Way to ruin the mood bro' Jill thought as she watched amusingly as Jack started to drink from the bottle again. The twins finished getting ready and stood at the tree house door "Let's boogie." Jack held a thumbs up as he said that trying to be cool "Never say that again please." Jill mumbled

Jack grabbed a zipline trolley (A/N: Idek what it's called) and zipped down, but his foot hit part of the fence and he face planted on the concrete sidewalk. Shaking her head Jill grabbed hold of the other zipline trolley thing and zipped down gracefully, before helping her brother up and watched as he ran the opposite direction of Quint's house " Hey idiot! Quint's house is this way remember!?" "I KNEW THAT!" Jack and Jill then ran in the right direction.

They ran through a canal before spotting their destination. As the twins ran however a certain monster from earlier appeared searching for a certain someone, before walking off. Meanwhile the twins were crawling through tall grass, Jack humming a tune that you would hear in a spy movie. He only stopped because the ground started to shake.

"Uh-oh. Dozer." He whispered

"Crazy strong. Thick skin protects the internal organs. They eat zombies" Jill explained "And possibly still-breathing dudes like us." The twins started to back away "Luckily, they're slow and dumb, so we'll just be turning and fleeing, and living to fight another day" The twins then ran into a second Dozer 'Ah sugar honey iced tea' Jill thought. Both of the twins started to back up but the first Dozer was getting too close, while the second was reaching for them

"GET DOWN FRIENDS!" a sudden yet familiar voice yelled suddenly a firework blasted in the face of the second Dozer, and another blasting the shoulder of the first. The twins looked to where the fireworks had come from to see Quint on his roof with the rocket launcher he talked about on the day the zombie apocolypse started. "Move quickly, while the enemy is disoriented!" he yelled before shooting more fireworks at the Dozers

"His timing is impeccable!" Jack said

"No kidding"

The twins jumped over the fence to get to Quint's backyard only to be met with a bunch of zombies

"Whew! You guys are horrifying, but it's not your fault you're undead." Jack said while grabbing his hockey stick "So, we're not gonna kill you. (A/N: Wouldn't that just make them double dead? please someone get that reference) we're just going to politely ask you to step... a... side. Please!" Jack said while pushing back the zombies knocking them over. Just as the twins were about to get to the back door of Quint's house a fat zombie had blocked their way "Whoa! Coming through" Jack tried to push the zombie down but it didn't even budge.

The zombie raised an eyebrow before reaching for Jack and Jill, Jill acting fast grabbed the tree balloons from her bag and threw them at the fat zombie's face, two of them breaking on impact and splashing the zombie while the last one the zombie had pushed away before promptly stepping on it making the zombie fall on it's face. Using the opportunity Jack and Jill ran to the now opened back door, sliding into the kitchen, as Quint shut the door.

"Quint!"

"Jack, Jill!"

The two boys hugged each other before doing a weird handshake, when they were done Quint and Jill fistbumbed each other

Feat Complete: Buddies reunited.

"Um, Quint, can we go up to your lab?" Jill asked while looking at something outside, Jack and Quint looked to see what she was looking at and saw the fat zombie from earlier moving his tongue around the back door, "He's giving the the heebie-jeebies." All three of them walked away to Quint's room or "Lab" as it was called with disgusted face because of what the just saw.

"I begun classifying the strange beings that now inhabit the area by genus and species." Quint explained, "Next I'll grade their skill sets and abilities."

"Cool, Cool, Fun, Fun" Jill said before taking a sip of orange soda

"Uh, so, buddy, where are your parents?" Jack asked earning a elbow in the ribs curtsy of Jill "Ow, Jill"

"They were on a cruise, remember?" Quint explained "So, I must believe they're still out there safe."

"But -" Jack started "It is what I choose to believe." Quint interrupted Jack not wanting to hear anything negative about the state his parents might be in "And what about that weird babysitter?" Jill asked hoping to get off the topic "Oh she got zombified straightaway." Quint said bluntly. 'That would explain the boarded up closet down stares and the moaning coming from it' Jill sweat dropped

Jack laughed nervously before walking up to Quint "Bud, this place is spooky quiet." "Yeah Let's blow this joint, head to the tree house for video game time." Jill suggested, but Quint shut them down real fast "Impossible. My research is here."

"Quint! I've perfected my own neon summit-drip slush-ie formula" Jack said making Quint raise an eyebrow, "Extra sugar, triple caffeine, guaranteed eye-spinning gamer rush." Jack and Jill said simultaneously.

"I'll gather my things" Quint then walked off while Jill and Jack helped

After gathering Quints stuff (which there was a lot of ) the trio made their way out of the lab "Quint, we trust you and all things" Jack began

"Thank you"

"But how are we getting all this to the tree house?" Jill questioned "It's a long walk."

"Oh, we won't be walking." Quint replied slyly he then led the twins to the garage.

Once there Quint flicked on the lights and reveled a red truck that Quint had obviously up-graded "Jack, Jill meet Big Mama"

"Whoa" Said twins responded

"Allow me to go through the features. Arrow turret. bottle-rocket launchers. Butter-slick slingers. Fuzzy mice for science. Fuzzy dice for looking cool." Jill then pointed to a skull shaped candle "Dude! Is that a human skull?" "It's only a candle" Quint reassured Jill "Oh" said twin replied "Not sure if I'm disappointed or relieved."

"What's it smell like?" Jack asked

"Cookie dough"

The trio then sniffed the candle "Love it!" The twins said at the same time

After that all three of them loaded up the truck and got in, Jack in the drivers seat, Quint riding shot-gun, and Jill in behind them with the mice from earlier. "Oh, blast. I didn't hook up the electricity to the garage doors" Quint facepalmed "Doors? Where we're going, we don't need doors." Jack said once again trying to be cool, yet failing 'Oh no' Jill thought as her twin started up the car, before driving it straight into the garage door, which broke, and landing outside of the home.

Quint looked from the now broken garage doors to Jack angrily "My parents will be home eventually, and I will be blaming YOU for the doors." he said before facing forwards "Fair enough" Jack agreed before he started to drive again, really badly 'WE ARE GOING TO DIE!' Jill screamed internally

"Dudes I am driving a car! And I'm really good at it!" Jack laughed, though Quint and Jill's screams would say otherwise "So, you remember June Del Toro?" Jack asked Quint "Hmm." "The June Del Toro you've been crushing on since school started? The June Del Toro who is your sister's best friend? The June Del Toro you won't stop talking about?" Quint asked sarcastically "No." this made Jill giggle a little bit "Well, first thing tomorrow, we're going out looking for her. That's nonnegotiable." Jack said

"Oh, that June Del Toro." Quint once again replied sarcastically.

Once the trio were at the tree house and had helped Quint settle in, they played video games, ate chips, drank soda, roasted marshmallows and had s'mores. Before settling down for the night, though neither of them could sleep. "Quint, buddy. You awake?" Jack broke the silence "Yep" Quint whispered "Jill you?"

"Well I am now"

"Guys, the world, like, ended."

"I know."

"Crazy"

"I'm glad we're in it together, you know?"

"We know Jack"

Quint then farted breaking a short silence between the three before laughing

"Ugh! DUDE!" Jill said tossing a pillow at Quint

"Oh, man! My mouth was open!" Jack gagged before sighing

"Good night"

"Good night"

"Night you two dingbats."

The next morning the three friends got into Big Mama, Jack driving again while also yelling out of a megaphone "JUNE, ARE YOU OUT THERE?" Quint was writing something down in a note pad, while Jill was looking around for June. "IT IS I, JACK SULLIVAN, POSTAPOCALYPITC ACTION HERO, COME TO RESCUE YOU!"

"Hmm, something's not right." Jack said

"Air temperature?"

"No."

"Velocity?"

"No"

"Direction?"

"Nope."

"MUSIC!"

'Nerds' Jill thought

"We need some cool, man-on-a-mission, searching-for-June music." Jack said before turning on the radio and singing along to the song

"Take this higher"

"JACK LOOK OUT!" Jill warned pointing to a figure that was coming into view, luckily Jack swerved in time, he then slammed on the brakes "Was that a monster or a person?" Jack asked

"Both. It's Dirk Savage."
