"Where are we going now?" Happy asked flying. Even though it was day, the Endless Woods blocked out most light making it eerily dark.
"Don't know. Guess keep headin' north, eh?" I smile putting on my back pack.
"Man it's been so long since I've used my magic for battle. If I fight E.N.D, I need to be in good shape." I say sighing.
"You're not gonna kill E.N.D, are you?" Happy asked worried.
"T-that was the plan." I respond.
"B-but! Natsu will die with him!" He said nearly yelling.
"Shh! We can't attract demons! And I'll figure something out, I'm not exactly sure what my plan is- what's that?" I look up ahead and see a cottage, old and black. It looked like something you'd seen in a scary movie.

"We could stay there!" Happy cheered flying up to it.
"Wait- No!" I tried to grab him but he flew away too fast. I ran after the blue fuzz ball and found ourselves standing in front of the door.
"Well! Let's knock!"
"You're gonna get me killed you stupid cat!" I sighed.
"You sound like Lucy!" He laughed.
"Hah.. She would've hit you, unlike me." I smiled.
"And then Wendy would tell her to calm down!" He laughed.
"Haha! And then out of no where Gray and Natsu would get in a fight!"
"Then Erza would stop them!" We laughed together, paying back wonderful memories from the guild..

"I miss them you know." Happy said, voice breaking.
"I do too.. I do too." I sigh.
"Natsu, Lucy, Mirajane, Juvia, everyone! And- and our friends from other guilds! Sting, Lyon, Kagura.."
"Don't cry, Happy. We'll see our friends again one day. Right now, we have to get Natsu back."
"Then what? There's an army of undead! For all we know all of Earth Land's humans are dead! Or-or maybe just Fiore- maybe we can just go back to Edolas! We need some lacrima of course-"
"Happy!! Stop! I don't know what will happen. I don't even know if we'll live- but it doesn't matter, do you understand me? Because all we need is each other. We'll worry about the future later. The past leads to depression, the future leads to anxiety, so all we can do is live now. Here. In the present.." He sniffled his tears and nods.
"Now let's see what's inside this cabin, okay?"
"Aye sir!" He cheers. I smile and knock on the door. No one answers.
"Hello? Anybody home?"
Nothing.
"It looks abandoned." Happy says.
"S-should we just go in?" I ask.
"Aye!" He opens the door before I can respond and enters.
"Stupid cat!" I sigh. I run in after him and look inside.

To our surprise it was pretty neat and over all clean.
"Happy- I'm pretty sure someone lives here." I say looking around.
"Nah! Maybe it's just clean from someone who lived here years ago! Maybe it was a human, and if that's the case, they're probably gone."
"Ehh. Why do I let you talk me into things like this?"

"What the fuck." We heard a voice that wasn't one of ours. We turn around and there, stood a man in all black, hair white as snow with matching eyes and horns sticking out of his head

"You've got to be shitting me right now."
