Chapter 2:

Sky's POV:

"One Garlic Chicken and a Ravioli Pasta, Caesar Salad, A Slice of Cheesy Bacon Pizza Supreme, and two Cranberry Iced Tea." kumakain kami ngayon sa isang Italian Restaurant called *insert name here*.

"That would be for about 20 mins." and the guy server gave me a warm smile, that caused him to show his dimples. cute, but i guess mga 18 yrs old na din siya gaya ni Luke. 

"*ehem*ehem*" I heard luke faked cough, okay what's wrong with him?

"It would be nice if you can now go and prepare our food." he said to the server and gave it a sarcastic smile as if na parang pinapaalis na niya ito. 

I stared at him with a questioning look in my eyes na parang tinatanong kung anong problema niya.

"What? I didn't do anything!" sigaw ni Luke and the server was still in front us. geez nakakahiya. 

"Excuse me Ma'am, Sir." The waiter said politely and gave us a smile, bowed, and left.

"Yeah right, its like you're not doing anything. He seems nice, you're rude." I said and rolled my eyes on him.

"Can't you see he's flirting with you? I'm just protecting you just like what tita said I should do." He said but he lowered his voice because there are lots of people here. pero kanina hindi nahiyang sumigaw. -__-"

"You have such a malicious mind! As if he's flirting with me! He's just being nice to the customers" I said and threw a towel that's in the table at his face.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. I'm also a guy of course I know what He's doing. I just want you to be safe." He said and stood up to give me a neck hug and ruffled my hair and hurriedly ran back to his chair.

"Ugh. I hate you!" angal ko, as I fix my hair because of what He did. He could be a meanie sometimes, well ALWAYS.

"Love you too sky." Smirked at me and started laughing for a minute.

I rolled my eyes on him again.

"Okay, let's just stop arguing about this." Luke said and gave me a sweet smile and a peace sign.

"Stop it!" I said while giggling because of what he did. Well I could say He's too cute doing that, but sometimes being too cute could be scary. Haha

I'm a straighforward gal, so there's nothing wrong in saying those things right?

and by the way, in case na nagtataka kayo na we speak english very often, it's because we're born and we grew up in Australia. I just transferred here in the Phillippines for like 5 years ago and Luke 3 years ago that's why I'm more fluent than him in tagalog.  He understand some tagalog words, but he's just having a hard time on how to pronounce it. 

after almost 30 mins. of eating and chatting, we are done. We headed first to the salon for some pampering. 

"Luke you could go somewhere else you want, just wait for me at forever 21 at exactly 1:30pm and you still have 1 hour to look around" I said while I wait for my stylist prepare the things he needed.

"I could wait for you here? besides i don't really have something to buy or somewhere to go." He said and grabbed the magazine on the near coffee table here at the waiting area.

"You'll be bored. If you have nothing else to do, well then can i ask for a favor?" I said so he couldn't stay here. I get too conscious and intimidated easily even if he's my bestfriend. alam niyo na, it's some girls problem. 

"What is it? I can do anything, but please no grocery shopping." He said and placed the magazine down at the table and sat comfortably at the couch.

"Could you buy these school supplies? I'm planning to give these to the orphanage for the kids, I rarely visit there so I want to surprise them." I said and handing him the list of the things i need to buy at the supplies store.

"Okay then, I'll go now. Let's just meet at forever 21 at 1:30 pm just text me if you came earlier." He said then stood up, waved goodbye and headed to the supplies store.

"Hmmm... Who's that cute guy you have? Mind me knowing his name?" My stylist said with a flirty smirk on His face. He must be finished preparing so I sat at the chair.

Yes HE, my stylist is Simone, he is a homo/transexual. or in simple language gay. Again I'm a straightforward person.

But besides his gender, he's nice and we are also friends which is unusual for me because i don't have that much friends because I'm socially awkward but I always go here and I get close with him that easy. He is just out-going, bubbly, and fun.

"He's my bestfriend, Luke." I replied as he placed a towel on my back.

"Oh, great! Akala ko jowabells mo! You know, I might still have a chance with him." And he's smiling widely like a creep.

"Stop that smile. It's freaking me out. and I tell you, even if he's single still you have no chance with him." I said while picking a color for my hair in a magazine.

"At bakit naman?" He said raising an eyebrow at me and waiting for my answer.

before i could even answer his question, he already followed it with his own answer.

"Maybe, baka kasi may nagugustuhan na siya." and smirked at me playfully like he knows something obvious.

"He never tells me about some other girls before. We are always together! It's Impossible for him to be inlove with someone, and I'd rather see him with a pet but not a girl, I should know that if he's in love with someone. I know him that much." I said and pointed him the color that I wanted and he started working with my hair.

"Wag mo nga ko ineenglish diyan, masasapak kitang bruha ka eh. I'm nose-bleeding. napapaenglish tuloy ako" He said, na parang kunwaring sasabunutan pa ako. 

"Oh, sorry sorry. my bad haha" i said and giggled, at nag peace sign pa sa kanya. 

"Okay, back to the topic. I smell something between sa inyong dalawa nung bestfriend mo daw, kahit parang more than that kayo. Kaloka ka girl. haba ng hairlaloo!" sabi niya at hinigit pa buhok ko. 

"Aray naman! ayusin mo naman bakla. you're so beautiful pa naman today. pero wag mo na kasi kami bigyan ng malisya, kung gusto mo sayong sayo na siya. and di ko alam kung may nagugustuhan siya okay? so stop na tayo diyan girl" Sagot ko as I grabbed my phone in my bag para makapaglaro na lang.  

"You don't know because, maybe that someone is you." and it left me frozen in my chair. what does he mean by that? andaming alam netong baklush na to. juiceko! 

I stared at him in the mirror for a second before asking him the questions that is formulating through my head.

"What do you mean by "that someone is you?" I said blurting the questions out still shocked of what he said. hayssst napapa-english na naman ako. 

"Dear, its too obvious. He has a crush on you, or better yet He's in love with you." Then again I was struck with his words. Shocking, really shocking.

"Of course not. He will never be in love with me, come on para na kaming magkapatid niyan." I said still can't believe na naisip niya yun

"Don't be to oblivious about it sky. Can't you see it in his actions?" He said, like he really knows the words he is saying.

"Don't be too malicious about that, were friends! BEST friends." I said and intentionally gave emphasis to the word Best.

"Kung alam ko lang, baka ikaw rin inlove na sa kanya." He said and gave me a grin.

Is He serious?

"Could you please stop!? its getting awkward." Really it's already getting me conscious of what I do with Luke. Its making me start to think of his actions towards me.

"Observe my dear, observe." He said, then left. I think he was gonna get something.

Okay Enough. Pretend that nothing happened. You and Luke are best friends. Wala naman talaga yun diba? 

Bestfriends. Not more than that. don't overthink too much, it may lead to complications.

Leave it plain and simple.

Friends, yeah friends.

1:36 pm *F21 Store

I'm 6 mins. late so i texted Luke that I'm sorry but I'm on my way to forever 21.

I reached the store and saw Luke standing at the side with the supplies I asked him to buy. mukhang madami siyang napamili ah? 

The thought of my stylist's words suddenly came to my mind. I hardly set it aside in my mind for awhile as i was getting near him.

"Here's the things, I bought all what is listed." And handed me out the receipt but he carries the paper bags which I think was heavy.

"Thank you so much Luke! Need help with those?" I said because he is holding 4 medium sized paper bags. kaya baka nabibigatan na siya nakakahiya naman. 

"Nope, I could handle this. Let's get inside the store so i could sit and rest for awhile." He said but it still looks that he's having a hard time carrying all those stuff

"You sure?" I said, offering him my help again. 

"Yeah sure. But happy you care. haha" He said and smiled at me assuring me he's fine

Then we went inside the store, forever 21.

"Wow" i blurted out

The first thing I saw was their newest collection and the designs were great. ang ganda sobraaaa. nakakamangha. nakakakuha talaga siya nga atensyon ng mga tao. 

There's a white flowy dress which is a spaghetti strap dress and has fringe at the bottom and a lace detail at the upper part. They also have newly designed celine combat boots with different available colors like white, black, and red. I also noticed their last stocks of high waisted shorts which is in pastel and ombre colors.

ang daming bago! buti nag shopping na agad ako.  

But the one who caught my eye is their limited edition casual dress. It's a high low hem dress, the upper part of the dress is in a sparkling baby blue color and the bottom part is in a white cream color and it includes a silver belt at the waist part of the dress. It's a head turning dress and I can compare it to a breath taking view. Paired with it is a silver glittering high heel stilettos.

It was released yesterday but there are only 5 stocks remaining. Glad I went here today.

I Immediately ask the saleslady for a new stock so I could try it on and went to the fitting room. I also got the shoes with it.

"How do i look?" I asked Luke who's reading a book which i guess he bought at a store today. As I went out the fitting room i faced him to see his reaction about the dress

"What is it n-" he said but didn't continued his sentence because he stopped when he saw me and i noticed his jaw dropped a little

"Do I look awful?" I said pertaining to his reaction if it meant that I didn't look good on this dress.

"U-uhhm N-no! No! You look gorgeous! I-i me-mean the dress, it looks g-good on you." He said but he can't look at me and Why did he stutter?

"No! You're lying, you can't even look at me. I think this dress is not good for me." I said and formed a sad smile on my face

I was going back to the fitting room to change my clothes when I caught off guarded by his eyes that made me froze on my spot.

He sighed deeply and this flattering words suddenly came out from his mouth.

"No, you look beautiful and stunning. believe me, it was breath taking." He said still staring at me, looking at my eyes intently and gave me a sweet smile.

"You meant the dress not me." I said to control the heating of my cheeks.

"No, it's really you I'm pertaining too. You're beautiful." He said and again flashed his sweet smile at me.

I felt that i blushed to what he said so I immediately turned my back on him but before I head back I managed to say

"T-thanks, Thanks Luke." I said stuttering then head back to the fitting room in a flash.

Okay. That was Awkward.

What's wrong with me? Why the hell am I stuttering!?

good thing I was fast enough before I end up being embarrassed in front of him.

After i finished changing clothes I searched for more new items and clothing in the store.

"Which do you prefer Luke, this black floral designed crop top or this polka dotted one?" I said while holding the clothes in front of him.

"Anything will look good on you sky." He said but didn't move his eyes on the book he's reading. Good thing because i felt that my cheeks were beginning to red like tomatoes again.

Uggh. Why am I blushing?! Am I not still used to those gestures of his?

Cmon' sky! Concentrate, Focus!

"O-okay then, I'll get these two." I said and put the two items in my basket.

What's happening with me? What Simone said is already affecting me. Ugh I can't be awkward around Luke. I can't!

I closed my eyes to set aside my thoughts about him and started looking and checking on items again.

I end up getting 10 piece clothing and accessory items at the store.

2 croptops, the limited edition dress, the silver sparkling shoes, a white celine combat shoes, a pastel blue high waisted shorts, a stud earrings, a chevron and infinity rings, and a gold statement necklace.

It cost me all in all 8,000 pesos. Woah! I didn't noticed the cost! good thing I have some extra money and the extra my mom also gave me I could still go to top shop.

I payed all the items at the cashier and called Luke so we could now go to the next shop.

We decided to try first the ice cream shop that was a newly opened store, and we wanted to see if this place was great.

I ordered one Chocolate Overload Sundae while he got a Salted Caramel Vanilla Ice cream, and find some seats so we could rest for a while.

"Wow, this place is good. Their ice cream flavors are delicious and the atmosphere is so relaxing." I said while getting comfortable with their cone-shaped designed chairs.

"Yeah, this place is surely great." He agreed to what I said

"You know this place reminds me of her." I said to him with a disappointing, sad, and regretful look on my face.

"Me too, but let's not talk about her. This place is to innocent and wonderful for memories like that" He said and giggled at his last sentence. He must be trying to lighten things up.

"Okay then." I said and finished the sundae I was eating. I'm craving for this for a week now, haha.

We stayed a little bit longer and talked about different kinds of topics and stuffs.

After a minute or so we decided to leave we don't want to leave yet though but there still are lots of customers waiting for a seat.

This store is surely a big hit! Wonder who might be the owner of this? He or She must be so lucky.

"Hey Luke, I thought maybe we could go play arcade for awhile. You also look bored already so as a thanks for coming with me wanna hangout at TechnoArcade games?" I said and smiled, but when i looked at him to face him shock was written all over his face.

"SERIOUSLY!?" He said and unintentionally shouting those words.

It caused the people walking around the mall to look at us, but instead of Luke I was the one who apologized for what he did and I mouthed the word 'sorry' to them.

"Hey lower your voice down. You don't have to shout, I can hear you okay? So yeah I'm Serious, sounds good to you?" I said while we continue walking side by side.

"Certainly! A great plan indeed. now you're talking sky. Thanks!" And hugged me for that. A very tight hug, that he almost lifted me from the ground.

"Okay Okay I get it your very thankful and your welcome, but Luke I can't breathe." I said while I'm still around his arms.

"Oops, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to." He said and gave me a smile before letting go with the hug.

*tugtugtugtugtug* (sorry for the sound effect but just imagine the sound of a heart beating fast)

My heartbeat is racing, and i don't know why.

"So what are we waiting for? Let's go!" He said and grabbed my hand and dragged me to the arcade games.

Ohmygosh, He is holding my hands and our hands are intertwined. Gosh!

Wait, Sky what are you thinking!? It's a common thing for you two, its not like your not used to this stuffs.

Ugggh! Cmon' go back to your senses before something weird happens.

I was interrupted with my thoughts when we arrived at the arcade games.

"We're here! Now let's go." He said and went straight ahead to buy some tokens.

"Alright, Alright. I'm coming" i said shouting it a little because he's too far from me already but i don't want to drive much attention.

"Okay here's yours" and handed me the tokens that is probably a dozen and dashed off

"Hey! What are you gonna play?" I asked and catch up with him

"Basketball." He simply said and gave me a grin

"Oh, want a bet?" I said and gave him a smirk

"You sure?" He said and gave me a wider grin

"Don't be too over confident." I said and rolled my eyes on him and head straight to the basketball game. Good thing there's no one playing.

"Before we start what will the winner get?" He asked while putting his hands under his chin

"Hmmm... You think" I said, because I can't think of any dares.

"Maybe we could use it for some instances, it's like one owe the other one and he or she can use it anytime and anywhere. Cool?" He suggested, hmmm okay then.

"Sounds good for me." I said and positioned myself infront of the arcade game

"You ready? You know you might regret this." He said and gave me a playful smirk.

"There's nothing bad in trying ." Isaid and faced the arcade machine.

"Okay then" he said and did the same thing.

"Ready..." I said

"Set..." Luke said and seriously faced his game

"Go!" We both screamed and dropped the coin so we could start playing.

10 seconds, he got an easy 22 points while me 10 points.

Don't lose hope sky! You can do it!

20 seconds, his score is now 52 while me 38. Okay not bad, but focus sky! Focus.

"Haha" I heard him chuckled

"Don't underestimate me. I can overpower you, you'll see!" I said full of confidence

30 seconds, Yes! I'm leading I've know got 62 while he got 58. Well it's a 4-point lead but atleast i've overpowered him. Haha told yah!

5 seconds left. Oh crap, he's winning. His score is 520, and me 208. What a difference!?

3,2,1...

"Okay I won." Luke said as hegave me a grin

"Yeah, yeah." I said and rolled my eyes on him

"So know, you owe me." He said and smirked at me

"Okay, but for now lets go to topshop. It's already 3pm so cmon'!" I said and dragged him outside the arcade gamehouse

"What? I'm still not done with my tokens." He said and walked again towards the arcade gamehouse

"Save that for some other time, I still have lots to buy." And grab his wrist and drag him

"It's like I can do anything." He said and now walked with me

Without me dragging him

"Good boy." I said and let go of his wrist

We are now heading to the next store we are going to but he stopped when he saw something, but then immediately shrugged it off.

He must saw something he likes, but oh well he won't buy it even if he wants it. He's very practical, Luke only buys what he needs.

"Luke come on! Let's go we still have lots to go too." I said as I cling to his arms and giggled because his face looks like he's already bored and to say that I'm the only one enjoying what we are doing.

"Why do girls enjoy shopping? It's just a waste of money." He said being on his grumpy side again

"No it's not. It's what we love to do. Like you, you love basketball don't you? The thing is the feeling you have when playing basketball is the feeling I get when we go shopping." I said and smiled at him.

"Yeah, but basketball doesn't need you to waste some money." He said arguing with me again

"But you use your energy? don't you? It's a boy and girl business. basketball for you, shopping for me. End of story." I said, smirked at him and walked faster.

"Okay fine, fine. You win!" He said while catching up with my walking.

"Loser." Then I turned my head on him and stuck my tongue out but I didn't noticed that I was going to bump on someone.

*boooogsh* (sorry again for the sound effect but just imagine the sound of people bumping each other)

"Awww!" I fell to the ground and dropped the shopping bags I was holding.

"Sky!" I heard Luke shouted and hurriedly ran to help me.

"I'm sorry, but it's your fault. your not looking while your walking." The girl said blaming me for what happened. Well it's my fault but it's also her fault! She should have not get in the way if she knows we could bump into one another.

I managed to stood up, but I was shocked to see who's infront of me.

"Long time no see, Sky." She said and gave me a smirk which I could say has a little bit of an evil smirk.

"Star!?" Luke and I both said at the same time. Shock still written all over our faces and frozen on our own spot.

"I was right, she's the one I saw." IheardLuke mumbled quietly but still not moving from his place.

I didn't clearly heard what he said, but What does he mean he's right?

Oh no! This sounds trouble.
