Chapter 1:

*Friday night*

"remember who the real enemy is."

"Stop the drama Sky, di bagay sayo!" Sabi ni Luke sakin at binigyan niya ako ng isang mapaglarong titig.

"I hate you Luke. Alam mo naman na gustong gusto ko itong movie na 'to." Sabi ko at di pinansin ang kanyang mga kumento.

So nanonood ako ngayon ng Hunger games kasama ang bestfriend ko na syempre si Luke. I can't deny na kami ay talagang mga couch potatoes. Habang nanonood ay kumakain din kami ng Popcorn, chips, marshmallows, pizza, and chocolates. hindi ba halata na gutom kami?

It's Friday night, and we have a movie date. Ginagawa na namin ito simula ng mga bata pa kami. The typical Childhood bestfriends you know? Para kaming "siblings in different parents." Ang Wierd lang noh?

Kasi siya lang naman talaga ang kaisa-isa kong bestfriend at kaibigan. Okay, except na lang din sa aso ko na si King Chow Which you can observe from the name a Chowchow.

Masasabi ko na isa siyang tunay na bestfriend dahil sa tagal narin namin magkasama. Medyo baliw din minsan, pero less drama kaya masaya.

"Manood na lang tayo ng ibang palabas! Ang boring naman nito. Yung The Amazing Spiderman! Balita ko maganda yun. and That's Real Action." Suhestiyon niya

"NO! Paborito ko ito kaya manahimik ka na lang diyan." Pag-kontra ko habang tinakpan ko pa ang bibig niya gamit ang pointing finger ko.

"Psh. Ikaw na lang lagi nasusunod." Sabi niya at umakto pa na naiinis. nag pout pa ang loko. Like seriously? Ang kulit talaga ng isang 'to!

"Okay fine! Manood ka kung gusto mo. Pero bahala ka diyan! Manood ka magisa mo! aakyat na ako para matulog." Sabi ko sa kanya at tumayo na ako ng mabilis at dumeretso na sa kwarto ko.

"Huy Sky! Sandali lang! Don't be such a baby. Minsan na nga lang magrequest eh." Sigaw pabalik ni Luke pero nagtuloy tuloy na ako sa kwarto ko dahil malapit na naman ako.

"Hindi na, late nadin! Pagod na ako." Sigaw ko pabalik sa kanya kasi nasa loob na ako ng kwarto ko.

"Fine! Uuwi na ako." At narinig ko ang yabag ng kanyang mga paa sa hagdan paakyat kaya alam ko na papunta na siya dito sa kwarto ko.

Sinarado ko na ang pinto bago pa siya makapasok kaya medyo napalakas ang impact nito.

"A-ar-aray" dahil may naramdaman akong kakaibang sakit sa may bandang dibdib ko.

"Sky, okay ka lang?" Sabi niya mula sa labas ng pinto.

"O-Oo naman. Nauntog lang ako sa kung saan" pagsisinungaling ko sa kanya.

"Clumsy as always. Pasalamat ka sp-asdfghjkl." Rinig kong sabi niya pero di ko na naintindihan yung mga huling sinabi niya dahil pabulong na ito.

"May sinasabi ka ba?" Pagtatanong ko. Woooh kaya di kami magkaintindihan may malaking harang na pinto eh!

"W-wala! Don't mind it. and isa pa kailangan ko ng umuwi." At kumatok na siya sa pinto ko katulad ng lagi niyang ginagawa.

"Okay Luke! Sige alis ka na, kita na lang tayo bukas! Ingat!" Sabi ko para tugon sa pag-katok niya sa pinto ng kwarto ko.

"Bye! Goodnight na and l-loveyou!" Sabi niya pero medyo nautal siya sa dulo, pero di ko na lang pinansin.

"Goodnight na din Luke! loveyou twin!" Sabi ko, bago ko narinig ang pagbaba niya sa hagdan.

Wala yung malisya ah? Talagang sanay na kami magsabihan ng love you sa isa't isa. Yan ang magpapatunay kung gaano kami kalapit sa isa't isa. Pero please, wag kayong maguguluhan ah? and twin tawag ko sa kanya kasi para na talaga kaming kambal na di mapaghiwalay. 

*Morning*

Nagising ako sa sinag ng araw na nanggaling sa bintana ng kwarto ko at tumatama ito sa mukha ko. Panirang araw!

"Ugghh." 9:00 pa lang ng umaga at masyadong pang maaga para bumangon ako. it's Summer okay?

Tinakpan ko na lang ang mukha ko ng unan na nasa tabi ko para makabalik ulit ako sa mahimbing kong pagtulog. Pero unfortunately, di na ako makatulog. Buwiset na araw! Kaya I've decided na bumaba na lang at kumain na ng breakfast. Di kasi ako usually nagaayos ng sarili sa umaga except na lang kapag school day.

When I got down, nakita ko ang mom ko na nanonood ng morning news sa sala while also reading a newspaper.

"Goodmorning Mom!" I greeted her and kissed her on the cheek.

"Hi chowie chowie" I cuddled my dog. Aww so cute, relieves my stress.

"Oh you're awake my dear, let's go eat breakfast." She kissed me back and naglakad patungo sa dining area. 

"Okay Mom, but where's Dad? hindi ba siya sasabay satin kumain?" I wonder if it's for work again. But no big deal that's not a new thing, i'm already used to him being busy in work.

"He left early for work, your dad's gonna finish something in the office." Just like what i've thought of.

Not to brag, but i could say that we are rich. We have some chocolate business going on, it's not that too big but our brand is kinda famous. Well just so you know something about me.

Okay enough with the talking, I better head towards the dining room, Mom's waiting.

"So, do you have some plans for the day?" Mom asked me sabay higop sa kape na iniinom niya. 

"Hmmm, guess I don't have something to do today, Luke also might be going somewhere. I'm not yet sure." and munched the food, specifically the bacon that was in my spoon.

"Why don't you make some friends? You should learn to be social! Like me and your dad. How could you handle the business if you're not making any friends. you should have connections" Mom said at tumawa pa at the end of her sentence, Are we gonna argue about this all over again?

"Mom, how many times do i have to tell you that Luke is enough as my Bestfriend?" Yeah, i don't have problems with him naman. 

"Arff. Arff." my dog barked at me while he's under the table.

"Okay fine, and so as king chow. I just don't really want to deal with fake friends Mom." I have trust issues, so deal with it.

"Dear, it's not that hard learning in choosing who's friends you're gonna trust. Not all people are fake." Mom said not giving up the idea.

"But mom it doesn't change the fact that they just want money and fame from you." and finished the last bite of my food.

"Not all sweetie, Not all." Mom smiled at me, then she also patted my head.

"Fine. But still Luke will be my ONE and ONLY BESTFRIEND." I emphasized the word and know it's my turn to smile at her.

"Sighs. I guess I can't do anything about that." mom said then smiled at me once again. I also smiled back.

Guess I won our debate. Lagi naman eh. *insert an evil smirk* haha 

After I finished breakfast, I went back in my room to fix myself.

Maybe I should go shopping for today? tutal wala naman akong gagawin ngayon, and I heard there's a new clothing collection in Aeropostale, Topshop and Forever 21, I better check it out. Ayain ko kaya si Luke na samahan ako? Bet he can't say no.

In case you were wondering why I'm a girly girl, a shopaholic and all but i have no girlfriends and I only have one best friend specifically a boy, Its just that It doesn't change the fact that I'm a girl that loves fashion.

By the way I almost forgot I'm Skylar Cassidy Blaine. 16, A naturally brown headed girl, petite in size, has an oval-shaped face, blue-eyed, and officially called a Nerd. but don't get me wrong, my story is not a typical Nerd girl story. I just love books, kinda shy, and into gaming and stuffs so that's why they call me that. 

Actually, there's one thing I never tell anyone except Luke. It's about my secret Identity. I'm seriously a beauty guru in youtube. Skylar in the real world, Cassidy in the dream world. Well in fact, I'm famous but no one knows that even my parents. I become a totally different person when I'm filming my videos. Totally different that when you don't know my secret you won't even actually believe that who you're watching was me.

When I'm Sky i usually wear loose shirts, shorts, jeans, I always tie my hair up, I also put on my glasses, and I never wear even a tint of make-up. But when I'm Cassidy that's the time I show my fashionista side. I wear dresses, skirts, tops, heels. I put on some hair streaks of blue and a totally heavy make-up. That helps me make a difference with my appearance.

I never have the guts to show the world who I really am. When I'm filming it feels like I could show them the other side of me but in a different way that i don't have to face them. I'm to afraid to receive such criticism from the world. Okay sometimes I guess I receive judgements in my videos but good thing there's a disable comment in youtube. Now i don't have to worry.

*knock* *knock*

"Sky? Are you there?" Always a Perfect timing Luke!

I immediately opened the door, good thing I just finished taking a bath and dressing up. I closed my walk-in closet where I was just in a few minutes ago.

"Properly dressed, Going somewhere?" He asked and sat straight to my puff chair.

"Mall. Shopping for my new haul. You're coming with me." I said without giving him time to interrupt.

"What? Not a chance my dear, Not a chance. I'm not coming with you again, cause I remember the last time I was with you at the mall you let me carry all your shopping bags while walking for hours. Not to happen again, sorry." Am I that rude? Haha, my bad.

"Sorry okay? But i didn't mean that. Besides you're my best friend and you can't say no to me right?" Then smirked at him.

"Who said that I can't say no to you huh?" looks like he's challenging me. Okay then bring it on!

"Me of course! Mwahahahaha." while I also spread my two hands as if I won or anything. sorry ganito talaga kasi ako mag-act whenever I'm with him. 

"You really think so!?" He said and raised an eyebrow at me, but in a very masculine way.

"Mr. Luke Carter Williams who is already 17 years of age. Please stop acting like a girl, you look gay anyways." I said teasingly to annoy him.

"A Gay huh? Don't you know how many girls flock just so they could get my attention?" Still very proud of what he is saying.

"Doesn't mean you're a blonde, tall, and a blue-eyed guy means you're good looking." I said laughing at him.

"Then I won't come with you." It's his turn to smirk at me. Oh gosh I forgot I'm asking for his favor. guess it's wrong to piss him off.

"Okay, I'm sorry! Just please go with me?" I pleaded, also using some skills like my puppy dog eyes that always works. Haha

"It doesn't make you cute sky." He commented and washed his hands all over my face. di naman ako matitiis nito eh

"Whatever. good thing you're my best friend and I'm asking you a favor or else," i muttered, but still letting him hear what I have said.

"Or else what sky?" Staring at me as if waiting for me to continue what I'm gonna say next.

"Nothing. Let's just go now!" I smiled at him and pushed him outside my room and down towards the stairs.

We were already in the living room where my mom was doing something on her laptop. Probably some office works.

"Mom Luke and I would be going to the Mall. We'll be eating Lunch there too." paalam ko kay ma'am bago kami tuloy tuloy na umalis. 

"I thought Luke's going somewhere?" my mom asked.

"Not anymore! He said he was going with me and that's Final." and I grabbed Luke's wrist so we could already leave.

"But wait Tita! Doesn't Sky being too shopaholic these days? I think she should give it a rest. ang dami niya ng bagong damit sa closet niya, too many for a girl's regular needs" He said and smirked at me, a kind of a mean smirk.

I gave him a death glare, saying that if he doesn't stop he'll be dead. But not literally. Haha

"But Tita! I guess sky's right we should get going. He-he" guess he got scared.

"Oh, you kids. Go now and I'll finish some business here." and mom handed me some money. woah!

"Really Mom? don't worry i still have my allowance" I said handing back some, hello!?What am I gonna do with 10,000? besides I still have money on my savings account.

"No, it's fine. Keep that so you don't use your savings anymore. and Treat Luke for lunch." Thank you that I have such a loving mother.

"You heard it sky! Tita said, you need to treat me for Lunch. So what are you waiting for, Lets Go!" Then grabbed my wrist so we could go and that I doesn't change my mind.

"Hey! Ugh. Bye Mom! Loveyah!" sigaw ko na lang pabalik kay mom,  because we're already at the doorway.

"Goodbye my Princess. Love you! Luke you take care of her, will you?" My mom said before we could totally leave outside the door. 

"Yes Tita, I will! Without any hesitations." Luke smiled and waved goodbye to my Mom.

Yung Personal Driver ko na si Kuya Leon na lagi kong kasama ay inaantay na kami sa entrance gate ng aming bahay.

"Goodmorning Kuya!" Luke and Me both greeted him.

"Goodmorning Ma'am, Sir." He greeted us. He's totally nice, and he is working for us in such a long long time. As I remember he was already 56 years old I think.

"Sky, Let's go! stop daydreaming time is gold!" and he laughed at me, okay I totally got out of my mind. haha

I sat on the backseat while Luke is on the car's shotgun seat beside Kuya Leon.

Luke always wanted to drive, but still we don't have our Licenses. I'm 16, and He's 17 We don't want student licenses either. So instead, we wait till we get 18.

after the talking we are now on our way to the mall.

Will something magical happen with my life today?

I hope so.
