𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝? 𝙰𝚛𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚓𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚘𝚞𝚜?

Nat's POV

-Natalia-.

I couldn't believe that. I couldn't believe that James was standing in front of me.

-James...-.

Tony looked at both of use very confused and I could understand him.

In that moment the only thing that I could think about was that James was alive.

-Natalia...- he said and a few seconds later we were hugging.

I am sure I have felt Tony sigh in relief but he was getting jealous for sure.

-I thought you were dead- I whispered.

-I thought the same of you- he whispered.

Later we were all in the living room and I told James what happened to me.

-You saved my daughter?- Tony said when I finished talking.

I looked at James and he nodded.

-Yeah... I couldn't leave her there- he said -She is only a kid... I would have helped her mum too but I don't know where they brought her, my orders were to keep the kid alive and well hidden-.

-Well... Thank you...- Tony said.

-Do you have any ideas of where Pepper may be?- I asked James.

-No, I don't... But I feel like she is still alive. If they ordered me to keep the kid alive there must be a reason- James explained.

We both nodded. That situation was crazy, it was all insane!

-I must call Steve in the morning, he may help us- Tony said.

-Steve...? Like... Captain America?- James said.

-Yes, why? Any problem?- Tony asked.

-I... It will be good to see him... Does he know I am alive?- James asked.

-He does, he does. He will be happy to see you and to know that you remember him- Tony said.

-You are the kind man-.

We all looked at the stairs and we saw Morgan there.

-Go back to sleep, this is something for adults- Tony said.

Morgan ignored him, running towards James and she did the last thing that we could think she could do: Morgan hugged James.

-Thank you- she said.

I swear, in that moment I saw James' eyes shining a little.

-Do what your dad told you, ok?- James said.

Morgan nodded and runned back upstairs.

Later I was showing James his room,  another guest room. I still couldn't believe that our house was that big!

-Thank you Nat- James said.

-Thank you for what you did with Morgan- I said smiling.

He approached, trying to kiss me like he used to do.

-James... I am married with another man... I can't- I said.

-I know... I just wanted to be sure...- he said, sad.

I hugged him; I missed his hugs, I have to admit that.

-I'll do the best I can to find that woman, I promise- he said.

-I know you will- I said smiling.

-You and that James still look very close- Tony said while we were finally going to sleep.

-He was my best friend- I said -What? Are you jealous?-.

He smiled.

-Maybe- he said and I ended between him and  the mattress -Maybe I just need to remember him that you are mine-.

-I am very curious to see how you will do that- I said smirking -There is a kid in the other room, remember-.

-That is not a problem- he said and kissed me.
