Ajax heard a thud through the speakers and static. "Sylv? Sylvie?" he called.

    "Maybe we should make sure she's alright?" Jinx suggested, steering the hoverbike over to the pits.

    "Yeah, she probably fainted knowing how dramatic she is," Ajax added.

    They parked outside their pit, but Sylvie did not come out to greet them. Jinx and Ajax shared a suspicious look before entering.

    "Sylvie!" Ajax called again.

    "She's not here," Jinx told him.

    Ajax noticed a wrench and screwdrivers misplaced and Sylvie's headphones had been tossed aside.

    "Did she run away?" Jinx asked, tying up the pile of tools.

    "No, she's been kidnapped," Ajax grumbled, "And I was hijacked."

    "What?"

    Ajax bent over and picked something up, "This is the stabilizer for the boosters, and those tools are not where I left them."

    "But why would Sylvie be a target for kidnapping?"

    "Some sort of pirate took her," Ajax investigated the messed up tools.

    Jinx thought about it then snapped his fingers, "He must've taken Sylvie to use as bait."

    "There's no way all the pirates in the entire star system would know about her. She's only been with me for a few weeks."

    "You'll be surprised how quickly word gets out," he pulled out his holographic computer and plugged it into a nearby computer.

    Ajax raised and lowered his eyebrows, "I guess you're right, but I think he also might be selling her as a slave to Evo. He does pay handsomely for young, good looking girls."

    "Let's see who our kidnapper is," Jinx said, hacking his way into the security camera history.
