Mynx stared at Luke with her sword pointed at him, 

"You sure you got this, Quickster?"

Luke chuckled, 

"Bring it, Zap,"

Mynx smirked and went after him. He raised his sword just in time for her two sword to collide with it, 

"You are lucky I'm letting you use both!"

"You love me too much to make me use one!"

Luke chuckled as he ducked to avoid the swing and slid back. 

"Sure,"

All of the campers surrounded the two best swordsmen. Mynx switched her grip to a reverse grip as she went on the defensive, 

"You know, I still don't understand why you like that style,"

Mynx smirked as she jumped over him and slashed at him when he barely blocked, 

"It comes naturally to me,"

Luke shrugged, 

"Sure it does,"

He tried slashing at her legs again but she blocked it and flipped over him again and kicked his legs out from under him and he was finally sent tumbling down. He winced and opened his eyes to see both of her swords aimed at his neck,

"You have gotten better,"

Mynx laughed and everyone clapped as she helped him up, 

"Hey, I started training when I was six, I'm twelve now,"

Luke sighed, 

"The time did fly,"

Mynx smirked, 

"It sure as hell did,"

Clarisse patted Mynx's back, 

"You did a decent job at kicking his ass, good job,"

Mynx chuckled and smirked at her, 

"Thanks, I'll always kick Luke's ass now,"

Clarisse chuckled and nodded, 

"I am sure you will, Zap,"

Mynx laughed and nudged her, 

"Catch you later, Val,"

Mynx walked back into her Cabin and pressed the lightning bolt on her swords and they both turned back into the bracelet. Mynx sighed as she put the bracelet back on and glanced at the sky, which was the only thing she liked about the cabin, she could still see the sky.

"I wish you would give me a sign that you might be listening to me,"

Mynx sat down on the floor and closed her eyes as she started her daily meditations. She heard the familiar thunder as she felt power surge through her. She knew that there was lightning surrounding her then and smiled peacefully. She felt a presence enter the cabin before quickly leaving. She opened her eyes and stood up as the lightning slowly left the room, 

"Who is there?"

Annabeth peaked back inside, 

"Your absolute favorite person in the world?"

Mynx laughed and smiled at her, 

"Sup, Annabeth, what brings you to my home?"

Annabeth smiled,

"There is a new kid, the one that Grover left to protect. But! The catch is! Chiron says that he slayed the Minotaur,"

Mynx's eyes widened in shock, 

"And you think?"

Annabeth smirked, 

"Yes, I do think, so let's check this kid out!"

Mynx chuckled, 

"You do realize he could be our age,"

Annabeth shrugged, 

"Doesn't matter, I'm smarter than him,"

Mynx laughed and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, 

"You need to get better at socializing with people,"

Annabeth rolled her eyes, 

"What? Like you talking to Clarisse? Not happening,"

Mynx shrugged, 

"Who knows, maybe one day,"

Annabeth glared at her, 

"No, you, Luke, and Grover are the only real friends I need,"

Mynx shrugged, 

"Whatever you say, wise girl,"

They walked together to the medical cabin that was right next to Apollo's Cabin and entered to see a kid sleeping. Annabeth narrowed her eyes at him, 

"He is drooling,"

Mynx smirked, 

"I know, I have eyes too,"

That was when he opened his eyes for a breif moment and looked at the two. Annabeth stared back at him, 

"You drool in your sleep,"

"What?"

Then he passed back out and Mynx shrugged, 

"Yeah...definitely a lot of potential in that kid,"

Annabeth shrugged, 

"I have hope,"

Mynx smirked, 

"Sure you do,"

Annabeth nudged her, 

"Hey, remember I am the daughter of wisdom and war,"

Mynx rolled her eyes dramatically, 

"Gasp, it's as if you have never said that,"

Annabeth chuckled and the two walked out, 

"He will probably be up tomorrow, so I'll see you tomorrow!"

Mynx smirked, 

"I'll find you by finding him,"

Annabeth shrugged, not even trying to deny it. Mynx fell asleep as soon as she laid down on her bed.
