Nico di Angelo: Braaaaains!

As usual, Nico was stuck between two worlds. Ever since Chiron announced that he would choose the third member of the quest, he suddenly became the most popular kid at camp- and Nico did not like all the attention. He was too used to be in the shadows. After all, he knew as soon as he chose who would go, everything would go back to normal- or probably worse. He wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible, but on the other hand he didn't want to leave. He'd have to leave the rest of the seven, and...well some other friends that he had grown to know. Plus, leaving meant spending at least one whole week with the proffessional annoyance, Leo Valdez, 24/7. Nico wanted to just go to the infirmary with some lame excuse and settle down for a 1 month nap.

Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to stall for much longer. Leo was already fully recovered, with only one tiny little scar on his forhead left. Also the campers had started to pester him even more. Nico would have to choose their next companion soon, or someone else would pick for him.

Maybe Will? a tiny voice asked in the back of his head. Nico quickly pushed away the foolish thought. He didn't want to drag him into that chaos.
He was dragged away from his thoughts when Leo burst into the Hades cabin. "Hey, buddy! So I heard we're going on a quest together. So whose our other partner in crime gonna be?"
Nico just glared at Leo. He just said that like another quest was no big deal. Nico hoped this quest would go Arion fast, or he might just shadow travel away back to the underworld, which he couldn't do now, but he could still try. "I haven't decided yet," he muttered.
"Well Chiron said we need to set off tomorrow. Not that I'm trying to push you into anything."
"Then, why don't you decide?"
Leo shrugged, "Fine. I mean we should obviously pick someone from the sev-"
Just then Stella burst into the room with a murderous look in her eyes- something like the look Grover would give you if you touched his enchilada.
Leo stumbled back, "Jeez, Stella, give some warning next time!"
Stella just plopped on one of the stupid coffin designed bunks completely ignoring Leo.
"Uh...come in?" Nico replied.
Stella started rambling in an angry rage, "Ever since I came to camp, everyone here has treated me as some kind of joke! Does it bother me? No! But when the one person who I thought actually respected me turns out to be some jerk, that that I won't take. And that's not even what bother me most! I gave him my trust. Trust! I don't do that often, and he bestrays it!"
Nico couldn't help, but notice that Stella was starting to glow the more she talked.
Stella stopped in mid sentence as she noticed Leo, who was staring at her like she had just smashed one of his machines. "What?"
"Stella you're glowing."
"Um...thank you?"
"No, no! Not like that! Glowing. Literally glowing."
Stella became strawberry red, "I-I am?"
Then Nico's eyes widened, as he saw a symbol of the Sun add of shear light appear above Stella head.
Leo pointed to it, "Um-"
Before Leo could Finnish, with a flash of light the symbol disappeared leaving both Leo and Nico temporarily blinded.
"What the Hades was that?!" asked Leo, "...erm. No offense, Nico."
"Does that mean my parent is Apollo?" Stella asked with a big smile.
"No," Nico answered.
"Dude, I don't know about you, but I saw a Sun. Who else has the symbol of the Sun?"
"Yes, but Apollo kids are usually claimed with a symbol of a lyre."
"Then what does mine mean?" she asked.
"It can't be. Helios faded centuries ago," Leo stated.
"No. It isn't, Helios," he replied.
Stella looked down. Nico knew she had some idea. She was hiding something. He was starting to doubt if he should have ever listened to Bob and Damasen's request.
Then it hit him. He remembered the time he discovered the note:
"Can I please go now?" he had groaned.
"No, Will said you can't leave until at least one full week of recover."
"It's been 8 days?"
Kayla bit her lip, and walked away.
"Wonderful service here," he muttered. Sure he had tried to shadow travel again, and it didn't go so well, but that didn't mean he needed to be treated like some sick puppy.
Nico flopped back down on the hospital bed to take once again another nap. He would of slept perfectly fine, if it weren't for the zombie in a tuxedo glaring down at him.
Nico sighed, "What do you want Albert?"
Of course Jules-Albert didn't say anything- that would be weird. At the most he usually just groaned. Albert handed him a tattered up letter.
Nico raised his eye brow, "Whose it from?"
Albert shrugged.
"Of course you wouldn't know."
Nico started to open the letter, as Albert continued to hover over him. "You can go now, if that's all there is."
Albert slowly wandered out of Nico's infirmary room. Nico could here some screams come from the hallways of the infirmary like:
"It's the walking dead!"
"It's the apocalypse!"
"Braaaaains!"
"Shut up Connor!"
They'll get over it, he thought.
He took the letter out and read it:
Dear Nico,
There is an innocent hero that has been sent to Tartarus, under no charges. She is family to me, and it very important that she is able to live an actual life. I did keep my promise by sending your friends back, and now all I ask is that you do me this one favor of smuggling her out so she can live for once.
-Your friend, Bob
Nico had no idea why he had bothered to listen to him, but something had told him he needed to. He felt almost compelled to do so.
Now it made sense. She was his family. "Welcome Stella, Daughter of Hyperion- the titan."
There was a long pause of silence. Of course Leo was the one to break the silence. "Okay, yay! She been claimed- erm, who is Hyperion by the way?"
"He was Kronos' right hand. The titan of light, itself, and the father of the dawn, moon and sun."
"And let me guess," she replied, "Lord of the East?"
"Yes, how'd you know that?"
"Oh, just a hunch," she muttered.
"Bestrayed by the Child of Light," recited Leo, "I don't like the sound of that."
"Does this mean, I'm evil?"
Leo started to say no, but Nico interrupted him, "I don't know. Maybe. But this does means one thing."
"What?" Leo and her asked at the same time.
"She's going on our quest. We leave tommorrow."
"We'll meet when? 5am?" Leo asked.
"...11am." Nico corrected. Mornings were not his thing.

(A/N:)
Aiiiiyy!!! Remember me? No? Oh, well I can't blame ya. Yeah, sorry. Again. For not frequently updating, but I'm not really a frequent person.

Anyway. Yeah, I just realized that Noctis Stella is exact description of Sadie Kane. (Oops) So yeah...I don't know how to explain that...maybe they can some how be sisters? Eh, anyway, I just want to make it clear that Stella is not Sadie Kane...or is she? Lol, no she isn't.

In case any one is confused about how Bob/Iaptes is related to Stella here's how it goes: Hyperion is Iaptes twin brother. Stella is Hyperion's daughter. Making Stella, Bob's neice. Tada!

On that note:
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! :D
