I landed my speeder, my heart going a hundred miles per minute as I sprinted down the road and bylanes, till I reached the steps that led to the Jedi Temple.

As I entered, I saw red everywhere. The whole floor was strewn with bodies, lifeless and unmoving, riddled with gunfire. Padawans. Clones. Younglings.

Jedi.

I walked across the sea of corpses in horror, my heart beating so frantically that it might as well spring out of its cage. I was horrified to see more bodies covering the entire floor as I made my way into the Temple.

Suddenly my heart skipped a beat, and I rushed off to the med bay. I couldn't have been late, I couldn't...

As I pushed open the door, I felt my heart slowly break in two.

No.

Slowly, as if in a trance, I made my way to her corpse lying on the floor. Her smile, which I'd always lived to see, was gone. Her striking blue eyes, always full of joy and happiness, was wide open, unmoving and still. I cradled her lifeless body in my arms as silent tears trickled down my cheek. I'd just talked to her few hours ago.

We were tracking a possible new lead on Darth Sidious, the man behind this war. We had stumbled upon new information that the evil Sith Lord was a very powerful member of the Senate, possibly close to the Chancellor himself. We were proceeding wonderfully till she received a call on her commlink, instructing her to return to the Temple immediately. As usual, she looked at me for permission.

I smiled."Go, before they miss you?"
She raised an eyebrow."And you won't?"
"I'll manage." I replied nonchalantly, keeping on a straight face.
She punched me playfully as she headed towards her speeder, my careful gaze never leaving her.

Now,as I sat on the floor holding her corpse in my arms,I couldn't help but wonder, who did all this?

I made my way up to the Council Chamber. Opening the door, I was stunned to see younglings lying dead on the floor, killed, cut, butchered. I stood gaping in horror till my eyes fell upon a dark-robed hooded figure standing in the middle of the room. His gaze was fixed upon me.

I gritted my teeth." So you're the one that killed them."

He seemed to smirk under the hood." I am."

I clenched my fists as I neared him." Whoever you are, I arrest you in the name of the Republic."

He chuckled darkly." Republic? You amuse me, Master Raxen. The Republic is dead. I have brought peace and security to my new Empire."

"Your new Empire?" In answer he raised his hood, allowing me to see his face. I gasped.

Anakin Skywalker??

His rugged, shoulder-long hair was messy as always. His jaws were set in strong determination as his golden eyes bore into my soul. The kind-hearted, caring Anakin was gone, in front of me was a cruel, merciless, ruthless Sith Lord.

We flung off our cloaks and circled each other,like predators stalking a prey. He spoke" I see through the lies of the Jedi. You speak of peace, yet you're afraid of losing your power."

"You've allowed this Dark Lord to twist your mind, until you've become the very evil you swore to destroy."

"I should have known that the Jedi were plotting to take over....."

".......From the Sith! Anakin, Darth Sidious is evil!"

"From my point of view, the Jedi are evil."

"Then you are lost!" I shout as I spring forward,igniting my lightsaber and lunge at him. He blocks my attack with a lightsaber of his own and parries.

Faster than lightning,our blades meet, none managing to hurt the other. Jedi versus Sith, lightsaber versus lightsaber, a true revolution among the Jedi Order has begun.

"You are powerful, Master Raxen. Join me and rule the galaxy. Do not be a fool and get yourself destroyed as Mace Windu did."

Our blades locked momentarily, and I snarled." Never!" He continued to push me back till I stood precariously at the edge." Then it is the end for you, Master." He gave me a powerful shove. I couldn't keep my balance. My foot slipped.

Air whizzed past me, as I was falling headfirst from the Council Chamber on to the deep treacherous streets of Coruscant.

Anakin Skywalker stood at the edge, watching as the Jedi Master plunged to his death. He was a brave man and could have been a powerful ally. Instead he chose to be destroyed. Fool.

"Sir!" A Clone troop ran up to him." All the Jedi in the Temple have been eliminated. No survivors."

Taking one last look, Anakin left the room, his heart full of hatred and anger, as he trode carelessly on the corpses of the fallen Jedi.
                    

Order 66 had been executed. Hundreds of Jedi across the galaxies were killed by their own troops, as darkness spread everywhere. Records show that all Jedi who defied the Empire had died, with the exceptions of Obi-Wan and Yoda. Them, and another Jedi who was thought to be dead, who disappeared from Coruscant forever, vowing to stay hidden, and became one lost Jedi.
