They ended up making their way to a small forest, where it looked like no person has ever been.
And Nathalie was getting very worried as her boss drove further into the woods until he eventually parked somewhere a car probably shouldn't be parked.
But it's not like anyone was going to find them in the middle of the forest so at least that calmed the assistant down a bit.

"Here we are!"
"Here? Are you planning to spend another night in the car sir?"
"Well unless you want to sleep outside in the wilderness, yes I am planning on sleeping in the car."

Nathalie sighed in disbelief, this was weird, scary, and now it was going to be even more embarrassing for her as she desperately needed to change her uncomfortable clothing.
So without trying to draw much attention to herself the assistant got out of the car but her boss immediately yelled after her:

"What are you doing?"
"Changing my clothes...you know it's not exactly the comfiest to sleep in a turtleneck and a blazer."
"O-oh...okay...do you want me to help? I MEAN-not in a weird way or anything but...I could make you a little place where you could change so you don't need to hide behind a tree or something."
"That would be nice." She blushed and he didn't need to be told further, because the designer immediately hopped out of the vehicle and put on his purple brooch.

With the power of Nooroo he transformed into Hawk Moth who gave himself the power to construct anything he thought of, so now within seconds a little wood changing cabin appeared.

"Wow! That's great! Thank you sir."
"No problem! J-just call me when you're done so I can also...change."
"Mhm" she walked away with a nod leaving the villain smiling and blushing, but the man himself didn't even notice that he was.

So after a little while Nathalie made her way out dressed in a much more casual and comfortable outfit
"Thank you for that." Said she walking back to the car.
And meanwhile she sat in the vehicle her boss also went to change into something comfortable.

...

Now he wore some light grey sweatpants and a black shirt, his hair messy and not in that usual hair style. Gabriel had also taken off his glasses and made his way back to the car to find Nathalie tearing up whilst looking at the news on her phone.
"What's wrong?" He asked concerned when he got in next to her but as soon as he leaned closer to look at her phone, he could see all of the rumors about 'them'.

Kevin was interviewed and he said lots of horrible things about both adults but it seemed to have affected the assistant much more than her boss since Nathalie's tears were very visible whilst the designer just read the news open mouthed.

"SLEPT WITH HER?!" He shouted "FUCKED HER?!" He exclaimed loudly once again "I NEVER DID-...oh wait...never mind...BUT HES MAKING ME SEEM LIKE SOME EMOTIONLESS MONSTER! WHICH I AM NOT! Right Nathalie?"

But she couldn't answer.
Nathalie was crying way too loudly and shaking way too strongly to do anything so to help Gabriel reached to hug her.
But as soon as she felt his arms getting near her she vigorously shook her head:
"No don't touch me!" I've ruined your reputation. You might as well fire me!"
"Never! You're the most useful person who keeps my business together, I need you. Please Nathalie just look at me! You know I lov-need you."
"T-thank you." She whispered wiping her tears away "but I don't think I can continue this job."
"What do you mean?? You can't just quit."
"Actually I can. I have every right to end my job. I'm not some company property."
"T-true b-but Nathalie please! What about Adrien? He needs a-..."
"A what Gabriel? Say it!"

But he shook his head and refused to speak, so the assistant took matters into her own hands and said the thing her boss was going to say herself.

"A mom! That's what you wanted to say right?"
"Right..."
"Wow..." she laughed "you're just pathetic! You really can't raise a child on your own."
"Well-"
"Don't even argue with me Gabriel! If I wouldn't have done it Adrien wouldn't have made it this far! And we both know that's true!"
"Yes." he sighed "that's true, and that's exactly why I need you!"
"To raise your son because you can't do it?! WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO HAVE A KID IN THE FIRST PLACE THEN?!?!"

But he didn't answer her question instead the designer just grabbed the woman's arm and pulled her towards him.

"Nathalie I beg you, stay!"

He looked so desperate and yet the assistant still couldn't allow herself to say yes.

"A no is a no! I'll drive you home and-...and then I'll quit. I'm sure you'll find a better mother for Adrien than me."
"I couldn't...he looks up to you so much. I wish he would accept me as much as he accepts you." Gabriel said slowly falling into tears "We both know you're the better parent. And I'm just the mean useless one."

Now the designer was actually sobbing whilst his assistant had no idea how to react.
She was still angry at him but then again Nathalie couldn't watch her boss cry in front of her like that, she pitied him too much already, so almost as if this came out of instinct the young woman wrapped her arms around Gabriel and basically hugged him.

"I'm sorry sir...I love Adrien like a mother but...this is too much." She began explaining whilst also softly patting her superior's back who still continuously cried "now that the public heard these rumors I'll be seen as some sort of evil demon who only uses you. And that could affect Adrien as well! What if in school he'll get bullied!?!"
"I'll take him out of school then!! Just please stay Nathalie!"

But she still just shook her head and this angered the designer so much that suddenly his aggression took over him causing Gabriel to raise his voice as well as his hand.

"Stop it Nathalie! You're staying!"
