I peered in the kitchen from the bathroom. Adam and Max ran down the hall to the pool. I stepped back in the bathroom and looked at myself. This is just swimming. This is just-my prize. I looked up at the mirror, my skin and my blue and green floral trunks showing. Jason knocks on the door. "Ready?" he says glancing at my facial expression. "Yeah. Let's go." I say and follow him to the pool.

When we arrive at the pool, the group is splashing and talking in the water. Shelby and Alesa are talking at the corner of the pool and Max and Adam are doing clumsy strokes on the side of the pool. I look around the area. "Where's Skylar?" I ask Jason. He shrugs. "I don't know. I think she's coming with Jess." He walks past me and jumps into the pool. I sit on the edge of the pool and slip in, the frigid water welcoming me. I float over by the guys. The group floats around and splashed each other for the next five minutes. I look around for Skylar, waiting for her to appear. Japan looks too. "Where are those girls?" All of a sudden, Skylar and Jess come running from the entryway like a blur. The two are barely visible and rush past us by the side of the pool. They jump in the pool, leaving a huge splash. Everyone covers their faces and laughs. Jess appears from the water and laughs. She floats over by the girls. I wait for Skylar to appear. Then, Skylar's head pops out of the water with a little splash. The group stares as she shakes form the water and hops out of the water. I stare in amazement. Woah. She used her hands to dry her hair and wipes off her bikini. Her bikini was a cute purple and blue floral combination that showed a bit of her cleavage. Shelby laughed. "Aren't you coming back in?" Skylar shakes her head. "I'm gonna grab a drink from the bar." She walks over to the bar and steps behind it. I stare for a bit more and turn around to the guys staring at me. I jumped back a little. "Why are you guys staring at me?" They nod at Skylar. "We saw the way you looked at her, you player." Adam says laughing and elbowing me. I smile and laugh. "I wasn't staring and if I was, I have to right to stare at that-" I stop. "Her." They burst out laughing. "Dude, you're a complete idiot." Max says, still laughing. I turn red and sink underwater. I swim away from them and pop up by the bar. Skylar looks down at me smirking. "What up, Narwhal?" She laughs and helps me out of the pool. I sit on a stool. "Not much. You?" She shrugs and pours me a drink. "Just jumping into pools and stuff." I smile and take a sip from my drink. Okay. Now. "Are you going to go back in?" I nod at the pool. She shrugs. "Not unless you want to." She smiles. I smile back and nod. "I think I'm gonna go for another dip. She puts down her drink. "Then let's go." She grabs my hand and leads me to the pool. I look back at the guys who are giving me a thumbs-up. Okay, here I go.
