I grabbed a whiteboard form behind my desk and waved it in the air. "Alright people. Welcome to the Minecraft Mini Challenge. It's basically a competition of mixed mini-games. Each game starts easy a me gets harder. However, every loser of each game will be kicked out of the competition. The winner will receive a beautiful, fantastic prize at the end. And yes, I am in the competition." Everyone nodded and looked at their screens. I pointed at the whiteboard. "Here are the games."

"First, pixel painters." Ross draws a narwhal, Shelby draws Shadow, Jason draws a dragon, Jess draws a cat, Adam draws a unicorn with sunglasses, Alesa draws a bear with a tutu, and Max draws a corn dog. I draw a koala. Jason wins and Alesa loses. "Really?" she says.

"Second, build battle." The theme was kingdom. Ross builds a stone castle, Shelby builds a sandstone castle with sling villager, Max builds a box, Adam builds a treehouse, and Jason builds an epic sandcastle. I build a regular wooden castle. Of course, I lose and Shelby wins.

"Third, Minecraft party games." Everyone is racing through each challenge but Jess falls behind. The winner is Max and Jess has the lowest score. "Oh come on!" she says.

"Fourth, speed build." The first one eliminated is Adam, then Jason, Max, and Ross. Adam loses the speed build and Ross wins.

"Fifth, X-Run." "Are you serious?" Max says. Jason falls behind even though he has the patterns. Max wins and Jason loses.

"Okay, now this is the final game. This is based off of smarts and wits so be cautious." Max and Ross look at each other. "The next game is Skywars." Ross and Max face each other in the round. Each one gathers supplies and crosses to the middle. Then they battle it out. Ross almost falls off into the void but keeps his balance. Then Max rushes and leaps on Ross leaving him with half a heart. Ross dodges the sword and hits Max with an enchanted sword twice. Max loses hearts and loses. "Yeah!" Ross says.

Everyone pats him on the back, congratulating him. I hush them. "Okay, everyone meet at the pool for a winners pool party!" Everyone hoots and grabs their swimsuits. I look down the hall and see people get into the bathrooms. I laugh and turn around Ross is glaring at my desk that's covered in purple turquoise gems and colors. I walk over by him. "So you won. Congratulations." He smiled and looks up at me. "So what did I win?" I nod at his desk. You get the whole desk and gamer chair." Then I turn and nod at the figurines on the shelves. "And you also get to choose anything from the figurines on the wall to the Minecraft foam weapons to-" "You." I look at him. He's staring at me, his eyes soft and his expression questionable. I smiled and looked down. "We'll save that prize for when you actually win." I walk out of the room and look back at him. He scratched the back of his head and smiles.
