"So what's up?" Shelby asked. We sitting in the dining room of my suite. Alesa and Jess came over too. Jess looked over at me, nodding at Shelby. I cleared my throat. "You like Max, don't you?" She was confused but raised her eyebrows and shook her head. "I'm sorry! I forgot you like him." She was hoping I wouldn't tear out her throat. I shook my head. "Shelby, it's okay. I just need to tell you something about... him and me, before you go too far. Shelby leaned back. "Okay, go." I sighed. "Max and I went to my suite after the party and..." I stopped there because her expression was surprising. Jess couldn't take it anymore and stood up. "They had sex! There!" Shelby and Alesa stood up. "What!" they said in unison. I rolled my eyes at Jess. "I was getting there but okay." Alesa spoke first. "Why didn't you tell me sooner? And your only eighteen." Shelby spoke afterwards. "He knows your only eighteen and that you talk to Ross, doesn't he?" Alesa sat back down. "But he doesn't know that she like Ross not him." I plop in my seat. "Now he does." I stare at Jess. She notices me staring and shrugs. "I got a little out of control. I didn't want him to hurt her." Shelby sat down and leaned in her chair. I knew she was depressed. She devastated. I need to tell her he's hers. I look at her. "Shelby, I don't like Max. It was a mistake. If you like him, go out with him. It seems like he likes you very much too." Alesa nodded. "Yeah, you guys make a cute couple. Shelby shook her head. "I don't even know his feelings about me." She sighed and put her head on the table. I thought for a second and straightened myself. "Why don't you talk to him on a date?" Alesa and Jess looked at me. "Like me and Ross are going for dinner on Friday. Alesa and Jess can come with dates and you can come with Max." Alesa and Jess nodded. "Sounds great!" Jess said. "And if anyone else wants to come, they can bring a date too!" Everyone nodded. I smiled. "Okay, it's settled. Date night on Friday. Couples welcomed." After that we ordered room service and ate chicken all afternoon.
