Ross
The day after the food fight I had lunch with Shelby. We sat in a pizza place with a fancy setting. She grabbed the menu and started scanning through it. I looked up at her. "So, you and Max?" She glared at me. "Ross, I don't really want to talk about this subject with you." She looked down at her menu. I shook my head. "But you should because you're like my cousin and I care about you." She ignored me and continued looking at the menu. "Shelby." Nothing. "Shelby!" She glared at me. "I just want an order of lasagna with garlic bread and we can get out of here." I stared at her, knowing she won't give in, well at least not that easily. I shook my head. "Fine." A waitress came over and took our orders. We stared at our waters for several minutes. Then, she spoke. "I like Max and that's the end of it. We're going out for dinner on Friday with you and Skylar, Jess, Jason, Adam, Alesa, and Red." I looked at her. "If you really like him and think he's a nice guy, then I won't budge into your relationship." She smiled. "I know you care about me, Ross. I'm thankful for that." I smiled and gave her a hug.

Afterwards, we sat in my office, pointing at servers on my screen. Max walked in and looked at Shelby. "Hey." She smiled. "Hey." They stared at each other in silence. I rolled my eyes and stood up, grabbing Shelby. "Tim ends us to look at some stuff." We brush past Max. I can feel his eyes on me and then on Shelby.
