Chapter 32 | Success of Oz
[Chapter 32 | Success of Oz]
4:40 in the afternoon, Jun sat out front of the place they were staying at, just thinking and staring up aimlessly before a buzzing was able to be felt in her jean pocket and music filled her ears. She looked down, getting the phone out of her pocket and answering. "Yeah?"
"One of the families close to mine heard the Ootori's were in a private estate up north." Nekozawa smoothly said, the grin on his face able to be heard through his tone.
Jun's eyes lit up. "Really? You got an address?"
"No, sadly that's all I was able to gather." Nekozawa replied. "I know they're in the richer suburb up north of France."
A sigh left Jun's lips. "Alright, well something is still better than nothing. Thank you." She replied. "I'll tell the others and we'll go and look around."
"Can I come?" Nekozawa questioned.
"What?" Jun cocked a brow. "Why do you want to come?"
"I'm bored." Nekozawa replied.
Jun sighed and rubbed her forehead. "Well, I guess you can, since you helped us."
"The richer suburb has gates around it, I'll meet you at the front of those." Nekozawa said. "Thankfully it's not too sunny, it's nice and cloudy."
"Don't like the sun?" Jun questioned.
"I suppose you could say that." Nekozawa hummed.
"Well, I'll see you then." Jun hung up and got up, walking back inside. "Guys?" She called out. Fuyumi rose her brows and got up from the couch.
"What is it, Jun?" She asked.
"Nekozawa got back to me. Someone heard of the Ootori's. They're apparently in the rich suburb north of France, in a private estate." Jun replied. "Nekozawa is meeting us at the gates."
Kyo grinned, putting his phone in his pocket and getting up. "Well, what are we waiting for?" He asked. "Let's go!"
Thus, the four of them headed out of the home and into a car. Akito knew of the rich suburb, so he knew exactly where to go and led them there. He stopped at the gates and everyone got out, at the front of the gates was a creepy man in a cloak with a hood. Nekozawa.
Jun smiled. "Hey, Wizard of Oz." She walked up to him and put out her hand for a high five, in which Nekozawa high five'd back with his puppet. "Good job."
Nekozawa grinned. "Thank you~ Shall we go in?" He asked.
"Yeah. Let's go." Akito said, leading them in after getting clearance from the large gates. He had been here before with his elder brother.
"So, are we checking all the houses or what?" Kyo cocked a brow.
Fuyumi slowly blinked. "I didn't think of that."
"This is speaking french all over again." Jun murmured.
"Knowing my father, he's probably in the most expensive house." Akito said, brows raised, looking around.
"How can we tell which one is the most expensive?" Jun cocked a brow. "They all look the same."
"It's easy, it's probably that one." Akito pointed.
Jun looked to the house then back to Akito. "How can you possibly tell that?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Akito rose his brows at Jun who just squinted at him.
"...Totally." Damn rich people.
Akito rolled his eyes. "Just, come on." He started walking over to the house, the others following quietly behind him. Once he got up to the door, he knocked.
It was silent for a little bit before the door opened, revealing Kyoya dressed up nicely. His eyes went wide. "Akito?" He muttered in disbelief then looked to the others. "Fuyumi, Kyo, Jun...and Nekozawa?"He blinked. Wait, Jun?
Jun moved forward and quickly hugged him. "Kyoya!"
Kyoya immediately wrapped his arms around her, hugging her tightly and squeezing her. "I can't believe you came all this way." He murmured, kissing the top other head softly.
Fuyumi watched with a tender look. Akito and Nekozawa really couldn't care and Kyo glared daggers at the two, feeling protective of his little sister.
Kyoya pulled away just enough to lean down and give her a soft kiss, placing a hand on the back of her head to support it as they kissed. After a moment, when they both needed air, he pulled away and looked into her eyes. "How did you find where I was - though it wasn't exactly hard, father didn't purposely make it so. It's rather obvious we'd be in this part of town."
The group exchanged nervous looks. "Heh, yeah, obviously. We came here first." Kyo chuckled awkwardly, avoiding Kyoya's gaze.
Kyoya cocked a brow. They obviously didn't come here first but he wasn't going to mention that.
"Where's your jerk of a father?" Jun pulled away from Kyoya and stepped inside the house, looking around with her brows raised.
"Actually, I'm not sure. I just returned home after a trip out." Kyoya answered honestly. "He might be at the business building, lets go."
"Alright. The final showdown!" Kyo exclaimed, receiving an eye roll from Jun. The others started to walk out onto the street path to get back to their car. Taking Jun's hand, Kyoya walked out with her and back to the car.
They all got into the car and Kyoya told them were to go, the car racing off.
"You know...this...seems all a bit too easy." Akito then murmured.
"I agree." Jun glanced to Kyoya. "Way too easy."
"If I didn't know better, I think he knew we were coming today." Akito said. "Once we get into that building, I don't think he will let us all stay together."
Jun frowned, thinking.
Yeah, they were right.
This was easy, getting to Kyoya.
This definitely wasn't over yet.
Yoshio had something planned...
[Oh shit. What is it going to be?
It's nearing the end of The Lady Way! I hope you all enjoy what's left of your ride!]
