Today is hunting day, the day when we try to get a deer or a rabbit. We took our normal route. We brought our bows and arrows dad packed for the "road trip". Out of the blue, I saw a deer! I have amazing aim, so I normally did the shooting. I released the arrow and hit the deer!! The arrow went literally through its body. Ouch.
"Does that make up for my fish mistake?" I asked.
"It always does!" Dad replied.
We went to go get the deer. Dad grabbed the head, Mom grabbed the body, and I grabbed the legs. When we got to the shack, we put the deer down. Mom said she an Dad had it all taken care of, so I went to go explore.
I walked in a big circle around the lake. By the time dinner was ready, I had noticed a small door on the opposite end of the lake. What could it be for? I wondered. I guess I'll check it out on my next break.
I went to go eat dinner which was delicious as always. We also had a different kind of drink too. I guess dad found a beehive or something and got some honey to put in our water.
Anyhow by the time I finished dinner and the rear of my chores, it was almost time for bed so I didn't have any time to explore or see what could be behind the door. Maybe there's a secret in this forest... Well, whatever it is, I'm going to figure it out.Nothing will be able to stop me.
