Roh looked for answers to the disappearance of her friend, the most obvious place to look would be where Taron was not, his home. She believed that his parents would know of his location, if they had not departed with along with him. She walked towards the house where Taron resided as a boy. The blue skinned female knew it well from her childhood, spending many days within it. However, something was off about it. As she approached she saw several men at the house before she arrived, all of them armed with rifles. Roh covered her mouth as she looked in horror as they bursted through the doors and opened fire mercilessly.
She heard an effeminate scream coming from the building, it was none other than Lady Salia. The Kree woman had been like a second mother to Roh when times got tough for her in her own home. The blue skinned woman gripped the wall she hid behind tightly as she began to breathe heavily, tears beginning to form in her eyes as she panicked. The soldier quickly ran from her position and away from the scene of the horrific act.
As she now aimlessly walked across the streets of Hala, it had become apparent to her that Taron and his father were no longer on the planet. She would have to search elsewhere for them. However, searching the endless void of space for two specific individuals was no simple task, she would need to find a lead if she wanted to get anywhere.
The Kree had traveled to the prison site and began to question the individuals present, with Ronan now considered a terrorist after all that had occurred, getting answers would be far more simple. However, the results she were getting were minimal, most of the individuals who were there for the conflict between Ronan and Taron had been released from their cells. However, a Skrull who had a metallic collar around his neck seemed to know something, he began to tap on his cell walls consistently and repeatedly, which was extremely displeasing to the uniformed warrior. The blue skinned woman walked towards the cell and crossed her arms. " Is there something you want? " She asked angrily, glaring at him.
" I know where the group is headed...however, I will tell you only at a small price..." He stated, grinning slightly as he looked up at her with a face that was etched to the brim with unbridled insanity.
Roh slammed her fist on the side of the cell, creating a loud noise that echoed throughout the prison. " I don't have any time to play games, Skrull...tell me your price and I'll pay it " She stated, looking at him more intently now.
" My daughter resides upon Exitar where the man you are looking for has gone, I only ask that you take care of her while on your journey...she has been scavenging on her own for many days now..." He sighed, looking down solemnly.
Roh's expression shifted to sympathy, the man was quite depressing to say the least...even if he was just a Skrull. " Thank you for your assistance, prisoner...it will not be wasted " She stated, walking away soon after.
The warrior would then walk to a local hangar bay in order to commandeer a ship, however, unbeknownst to her, she was being watched. " I've been seeing that woman traveling around all day...she's usually in her quarters is she not? " A Kree scientist asked to an officer as she looked upon him.
" Yes, Roh is usually locks herself up in her quarters...I don't know what has got her moving today..." The officer responded, nodding to her.
" Very suspicious, keep an eye on her, won't you? " The scientist requested, walking away soon after as Roh's shuttle began to take off.
The officer bowed to the scientist in respect, taking one knee as he looked up at her.
" Yes, Lady Tiamat " He stated softly, getting up and departing soon after.
Roh had made it to the mining colony of Exitar, leaving her shuttle as it landed and walking around. There was only one area where she could ever hope to find sufficient information on her friend, one social hub that many would walk in and out of on a daily, constant basis to get them through the day, the bar. The Kree warrior walked into a bar, passing the hallways of the Collector nonchalantly, getting many odd looks from the patrons as she sat herself down. She turned her head to see a young, female Skrull waitress begin to serve some people drinks. Roh simply raised her hand in the air and motioned for her to come. " Your father has asked that I take care of you from now on, I met him on Hala myself " She stated, looking at the waitress as her eyes widened slowly.
Associating with somebody like Roh could get herself into many problems, as the Kree were only liked by themselves in the galaxy. Nevertheless a bar was a place for misfits and rejects, and not a place for those who belonged somewhere. However, despite all of this, the woman let out a sigh as she sat down next to the Kree. " My name is N'ori, what is yours? " The waitress asked, looking at the blue skinned woman in intrigue, it was her first time looking upon a Kree before.
Roh felt slightly uncomfortable as the rival race to her own began to examine her. " The name is Roh, would you happen to have any information regarding another Kree named Taron? " She asked, looking up at the Skrull as she placed a finger on her chin and began to attempt to recall anything.
" Yes, that man and his lot were here very recently...I believe they were headed to Earth..." N'ori stated, swiftly nodding as she looked up at Roh.
Roh got up very suddenly and looked at N'ori. " I must go as quickly as I can then...follow me! " She shouted, rushing out towards the exit of the bar, only to knock over a patron as she ran.
The Kree turned to the man she had tripped with slight sympathy, however, before she could walk away she felt her leg get grasped firmly by the patron as he got up. " Alright here missy...you ain't gonna just trip me over like that without compensating me...you don't look like you got any money on you...but thankfully you's a tall glass of- " The patron was cut off as he was swiftly kicked by the uniformed Kree soldier.
" I've wasted more than enough time here...I've got to go! " Roh thought to herself, all she could think of was her friend as she rushed towards her shuttle and began to set it for flight as her Skrull companion quickly got herself buckled up.
She set a course for the Earth, however, Roh simply looked upon in horror as a large dogfight began to occur in the depths of space. Her eyes widened in horror as she saw her childhood friend fight tooth and nail in the onyx sea of stars, only to be swept away in a wormhole soonafter. Roh began to put her thrusters to their full capacity as she rushed towards the portal, however, it was too late as the wormhole closed before she could reach it. The Kree woman let out an incoherent scream of anguish as she came so close to what she wanted...but not close enough...
