I walk into my dorm room and lock the door after putting my suit away without anybody noticing, especially with ironwood around. The last thing i need now is him finding out batman's identity and arresting the civilian version before i can actually exist in this universe and i've already let too many people see my face and know my name. I sit down in a chair at my desk full of parts for gadgets and i open up a computer and turn it on. I go to the files and open up a special file called "return". This file involves a bunch of forged information that i made to return as bruce wayne in this universe, but of course matches malone or "mat" will have to disappear. I used some of weiss's money to purchase big businesses but of course i couldn't tell her that so i lied that i was buying certain resources to make new gadgets. I made up a name when i bought these businesses and told them to run them like always with secure emails from me when i'm ready i'll take over. My fake name for now is "oracle" and i know when i get back barbara's probably going to be mad taking her codename. All the files include birth certificates, family pictures and fake family members who have passed away and grave stones i made myself and made records for each death to go with that. I do this to make myself the only living family member of the wayne family and for my story, i'm simply a new arising billionaire therapist that stayed under the radar. I check the files and finally finish them up and after i'm done with beacon academy i will start my new life and try and find a way back home while i fight crime. I switch my focus to a set of cameras in cinder falls room and lucky for me there in the dorm. I grab a headset and turn on the bugs so i can listen on the conversation they're having.   

"So who did you set up for the first 1 V 1 match?", mercury asks

"You and yang xiao long will fight first and we'll make it look like that she broke your legs, with emerald's help of course. Then part of phase one will be completed", she says with a smirk

"Good thing i don't have real legs then. I've got something better, metal legs", mercury says smiling. cinder looks at her tablet and i switch to a cam that has an angle on the tablet and i see blueprints of a mechanical humanoid named "penny". I'm shocked, because that's ruby's friend and she told me about her at lunch one day.

"Ohhh, we just got a new access point and there's going to be a slight change to the plan", she says with a devilish grin

"what about the bat though?", asks emerald with an eyebrow raised

"Like he'll be able to stop what will happen", she says with a smile. I turn off the computer and look at a cybernetic arm i've been working on. It allows a person to be able to increase the strength of a person's arm by three and i'm hoping to make a special suit with it and the other one i've already completed. I take out a blow torch and welding helmet and begin to melt a metal plate to the arm to cover the important parts and then i hear my scroll ring so i stop and put the torch down and pick up my scroll and answer.

"Hello"

"Hey mat, it's ruby. The final round of the vytal festival is about to begin and we're wondering where you are?", she asks curious

"working on a project of mine", i answer

"Why don't you come watch the first match?", she asks. I know how it will end but i think it'll be better to be there rather than not.

"I'll be there in a bit", i answer as i take off the helmet and head out the door.

10 minutes later

"ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the final round of the vytal festival. The one vs one round. Now under a random choice we will choose who will go first", oobleck says with excitement. I watch the the randomizer ready to see if cinder really did rig it.

".....yang xiao long vs Mercury black", port says. So she wasn't lying, she did rig the matches and i'm already in the know of what will happen, but sadly i must let it happen and not stop it. To make cinder think she's winning i need to let this happen and let her plan happen or at least in the beginning part. Mercury and yang both walk out into the middle of the arena and it begins to rise up, which makes me think there's a ring out elimination rule. They both get into their fighting stances and the countdown begins. Right when the round starts yang bursts straight at mercury with tremendous speed which catches mercury off guard but is still able to dodge in some way. They begin to throw kicks and punches at each other but yang dominates mercury with punches and even lands a solid punch on his stomach launching him off the side but to stop him from following out of bounds he uses his boots to propel himself back into the arena. He gets back onto the stage and propels himself forward and begins to land a series of kick on yang. He kicks her away and begins to spin like a dancer while shooting air blasts and makes a tornado of projectiles that he sends onto yang. There a cloud of smoke and mercury thinks he's won so he walks away and brushes off some dust from his shoulder but then there's a sudden gust of wind. I look to see where it came from and it's yang with her fists together with red eyes. With more speed than before the match started and completely demolishes him with punches and he can't even block them and then she hits his legs flipping upside down and then she winks and punches him in the stomach sending him across the arena without a ring out. I take my view off and take out my scroll and hack into the security cams and run facial recognition to look for emerald and in a matter of seconds i do. I start to record her and i see that's she's really focusing on the match, a little too much. She's using her semblance on yang in some way. I take my eyes off my scroll and let the camera continue to record. I see yang launch at mercury hitting his leg and you could hear a crack like bones are breaking. Soldiers come onto the field to stop yang while the crowd is yelling in outrage but nobody knows what really happened, except me. I leave without team RWBY noticing and call in my locker which arrives in seconds and i check my scroll and see that emeralds gone, most likely to the ambulance with mercury because he would have to go to a hospital for his injuries. I put on my suit and pull up a view in my cowl of the paramedics taking mercury with emerald by her side like i guess she would be. I run to where the ambulance will be and i jump on top and wait for them to arrive which they do in a few minutes but i didn't know someone was already in the hanger in a nurses outfit. I zoom in with my cowl and i see that it's cinder in disguise and lucky for me she doesn't know i'm here.

"Here, we got a ambulance ready to go", she says waving down the other paramedics. They load mercury in and the door shuts.

"hope they'll be ok. that one girl won't leave his side", says one of the paramedics 

 "we'll take good care of them", she says with a serious tone. She gets into the ship and we lift off. I walk over to a hatch on top and open it and connect it to my gauntlet and the holographic screen pops up showing me the controls, but all i need is control of the lights.

Inside the ambulance

"Oh doc, tell me, will i ever walk again??", mercury says sarcastically. Emerald hits him in the arm and he gets pissed for a moment.

"You all did well", cinder comments smiling. The lights go out for a moment and i drop down behind the table where mercury and emerald are and then i press a button on my gauntlet turning them on. They look around confused but emerald turns around to see me and jumps back falling. The others stand up defensively and the other nurse with cinder is about to launch at me but cinder stops her.

"what do you want?", she asks curious

"Just to let you know something", i say

"And what's that?", she asks with a grin

"I know", i say as i press a button shutting off the lights and pull my vanishing act

Cinders point of view

The lights turn back on and i see that's he's gone and i'm not happy. I punch the wall and everyone stares at me confused.

"Dammit!!", i yell out loud. I remove my hand and there's a dent in the wall.

"What did he mean by that?", emerald asks

"It means he know our plans and i don't know how", i replied annoyed. I know what needs to be done but it could be risky.

"We need to get the final phase underway now", i say regaining my calm.

"ok, i'll call adam and tell him that we'll be ahead of schedule", mercury says. I walk over to a window and look out to the night sky with worry and anxiety. I can't have the dark knight ruin our plans. We pass beacon tower and i can see the dark knight at the very top watching us as we leave.

"It's time to finish this little game of ours, dark knight"

Ironwood's flagship (3rd person point of view)

A guards making his daily rounds and hears some laughter in the room with the prisoners and decides to check on them to make sure nothing's happening. He walks up to the door and slides his key card and the doors open.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!", laughs echo in the room. The guard walks over to the joker's cell looking in to see him rolling on the floor in a fit of laughter. 

"What's so funny?", the guard asks. The joker stops in a sitting position facing the guard with his head down and with a little laughter but finally calms down. He slowly raises his head and looks at the guard with a huge smile on his face.

"The fun's about to begin, HAHAHAHAHA!!!!"
