Suzaku POV

After hours of stopping miss Cecil from killing Lloyd and Rakshata laughing at the attempt. I finally got to my room where my princess was looking into everyone's files. She took out all that were already dead and saw any new members.

"(F/n) You alright we've been reading those files ever since Kallen gave them to you." She looked up and showed me a few familiar faces.

"Do you know them?" She showed me a well-known group back when I was still new to the knights.

"Yeah, they were very loyal to a guy who believed that luck was on his side."

"I see either way the person behind this must have found out about geass. Why would anyone try to destroy W-0 base for no reason?" She asked as she put down the files.

"Don't be sad my princess. We'll find out soon for now stay calm. Or our son will worry about you too."

"Rolo is with Kallen and Gino ever since Gino promise to play with him. He also wanted to hear stories about how his father and mother were being reckless a lot." She said as she got all the files and placed them on the desk.

Your POV

"It brings back memories when we were kids doesn't it? Every time we played with Lelouch and Nunnally we would go to a river and teach them how to do things. You taught Nunnally about using her sense of touch to see. Back then everywhere we went was peaceful. Yet I thought that doing nothing would never bring peace to the country. Now our son has no one older to tell him stories about how stupid his father was." You saw Suzaku holding his emotions in. You knew about that day far too well. The death of his father was a burden on him. He blames it on himself if had never done that things would have turned out different.

"Suzaku you were a kid all you wanted to do was stop the fighting for all of us. If you didn't do it then things would have been different. Lelouch and Nunnally would be in hiding from the royal family. I would have been killed for protecting and helping the Japanese. And you would have been a mere soldier that they would use and throw away once they got what they need. Our son wouldn't be born we wouldn't have met Leila and everyone else. I'm not saying killing your father was a good thing, but it was fate that decided that. We're just following what we believe in." You hugged him close and let him listen to your heart.

"Your heart it's so calm and relaxing I can see why Rolo loves your hugs a lot." He said as got closer almost rubbing his face in your chest.

"Hey stop that you perv." Saying that he laugh and hugged closer to not let you move him away.

"You know you like it when I rub against you."

"Shut up would ya it's embarrassing when you say things like that." She said as she hit him on the head.

"Hey, your supposed to cheer me up not hit me in the head." He said as he laugh at your weak punch.

"This is my way of affection when I get embarrassed by your comments. Plus what kind of husband rubbes his face in his wife chest."

"A husband that loves his princess more than his own life. And if I get beat because of it then I'll gladly take it if it's you." You blushed by his comment.

"Honestly what am I going to do with you Suzaku."

Lelouch POV

I manage to gather wood to use for the fire. With the help of my little friend and Akito.

"Hey, maybe we should head back now. I think we have plenty for the fire now."  I said as they agreed. We walked back to our campsite and I saw C.C helping them cook.

"Lelouch can you help us with these wine bottles," Ayano said as she got one box

"Sure thing... can I ask you a question?"

"You just did but go ahead." She said as I got another box of wine.

"Who let C.C cook?"

"I don't know she said she wanted to try to cook." She said as seemed scared.

"I'm not ready to die again," I mumbled.

"She's a terrible cook isn't she?" I nodded to her as she sigh.

"Well, she can try at least, right? I mean what could happen." She tries to be positive.
