My Ravenous Curiosity
Within this castle—a splendid castle I wish to unravel
The mysteries of forgotten yore
A rumored darkness,
Something that shared not a shred of remorse
Has claimed the inhabitants' souls
And I have come to bestow the light, an oath I solemnly swore.
Upon the dreariness of midnight, my ravenous curiosity peaked
Supple I fell to this unyielding desire
Permeated with temptation,
A feeling that robbed me of my most precious dreams
My oath shattered by death and seduction
And blindly, and arrogantly, my soul hath finally reaped.
My ravenous curiosity forced me to press on, and press forward I did
The voices of spirits whispered me their secrets
Such enthralling secrets I once forbid
Were now reaped by my ravenous curiosity.
I've now uncovered the secrets of this splendid castle
The secrets that citizens bid me not to unravel
Were now in my shivering hands
But the spirits seduced me to remain,
All thanks to my ravenous curiosity
As one of them for all eternity in their domain.
