Samriti and Lalit as usual have their breakfast and leave for their respective offices together.

Annapurna, Damodarprasad, and Ruchika too see that.

Annapurna – what happens if Samriti sees this news. She will get to know the truth...

Ruchika – mom I will call Lalit...

Annapurna – okay...

Ruchika calls Lalit. But she gets shocked to hear him. she cuts the call.

Damodarprasad – kya hua...kya kaha Lalit ne ??(what happened ?? what did he say ??)

Ruchika – bhabhi is already watching the news.

Kunal hits his head with his hand.

Samriti gets shocked seeing the news.

Shivam and Shamila are in tension.

Lalit comes there and says

Lalit – papa ma don't worry. Di doesn't have that much brain to guess it. So chill.

Shivam hits him.

Samriti switches off the tv and comes to them.

Samriti – papa you know... my boss I mean Kunal sir is getting married. And we don't even know. I think he hid this as he does not like paparazzi and publicity. lucky... did Ruchika say anything ??

Shivam and Shamila sigh.

Lalit (whispers in their ears) – I told you ?? She is a dumbo....

Shivam hits him again...

Samriti – lucky...what are you all talking...I asked you something..

Lalit – ha..woh..no Ruchika did not tell me anything.

Samriti – acha ok leave it...they did not reveal the girl's name. I think the news got leaked.

Lalit – ha may be. Acha ok leave it. Let's have food. I am hungry.....

2 weeks leap

During these 2 weeks, Samriti enjoyed and loved talking to her fiance Kunal. She also spent most of her time with Kunal in the office because they both are working on a project. Samriti is still unaware of the fact. They used to talk a lot when they get bored of doing work but Samriti never crossed her limits. She never asked Kunal about his marriage or his fiancé and Kunal is very impressed with her maturity...

Lalit went on irritating Samriti. Avi met Kunal frequently. Samriti is surprised to see Avi and Kunal so close.

finally, the day has come.

Their engagement day...

Samriti did not invite any of their staff members as Shivam want it to be a complete family function. It's Kunal's plan. He does not want anyone to know about this until Samriti says by herself...

According to Shivam's wish...Samriti invited only her close friends from her previous workplace. Riya and some of Samriti's friends (They are Samriti's friends whom Kunal saw with Samriti in that auto.)

Shivam and Shamila are very busy. Shivam is very tense as it's his princess's engagement. They already arrived at the function hall.

Samriti is in her nightwear and with a messed bun.

Shivam(Tensed) – Shona you are still in these clothes. Go and change beta...

Samriti hugs him – papa relax...don't take tension. It will affect your health. Everything will be fine. there is still time for that.

Shivam (nervously) – you are going to see Kunal today.... I am tense about whether you will like him or not...

Samriti – papa I like him

Shivam – what ??

Just then Samriti's friends come there. They take Samriti to the room to make her ready.

Samriti – I am in the function hall. I am getting ready.?? Where are you ??

Kunal – I am in my house. Starting to function hall...

Samriti's heartbeat rises – ha I am waiting for this day..

After some time Lalit cones in Samriti 's room

Lalit sees Samriti. she is looking like an angel in a navy blue lehenga....

Lalit – let me complete... but see it took 3 hrs time and 6 members' hard work and 10,000 rupees for you to look beautiful.... It's better to see your devil face than to spend this much on you...

Lalit and Samriti's friends laugh.

Samriti without noticing them is chasing Lalit. She is descending the steps while chasing Lalit.

Shivam and Shamila welcome them but Kunal sees Samriti and gets mesmerized. She is stunning in her lehenga. Shivam sees Kunal staring at something. He turns and sees Samriti running behind Lalit.

Samriti (shouts) – lucky...I will not leave you. you fooled me..

lakah – hahaha no need to fool you. you are already a fool.

Shamila (angry) – they again started...

Annapurna and Damodarprasad smile...

Shivam – maaf kijiye Damodarprasad ji..woh.....(sorry Damodarprasad ji)Samriti does not know you are here... warna....(otherwise)

Damodarprasad – arre it's ok Shivam ji...we love our naughty Samriti....

Kunal is still staring at her.

Shivam goes to Samriti and stops her.

Samriti – papa leave me... Go and catch that idiot. he is calling me foo....

Shivam – Samriti your in-laws came....

Samriti – papa you too....

Shivam holds her face and makes her see Annapurna and dp.

she gets shocked.

Kunal hides

Samriti goes to them and takes their blessings.

Annapurna and Damodarprasad – it's ok beta....

Kunal calls her. A child comes and gives the phone to Samriti.

Samriti excuses herself and goes to attend the call.

Annapurna and Damodarprasad see the caller id and smile.

Samriti goes and lifts the call.

Samriti(impatient) – kaha hai aap ??(where are you ??)

Kunal – arre at least say hello.... why are you so excited.....

Samriti – of course, I am excited.. you will not understand me because you have already seen me but what about me......

Kunal – ok wait for 15 min...

just then Avi comes to Samriti and snatches the phone.

Samriti – Avi...

Avi (in phone) – sorry Kunal... but she will talk to you later.

Kunal smiles and hangs up.

Samriti beats Avi.

Samriti – why did you come now ?? Ha ?? why are you so late Avi ?? It's my engagement...

Avi – ophooo madam calm down...actually, there is a lot of work pending here. So I did all the arrangements and then went home just 2 hrs back to get ready. So I am late.

Samriti – hm Lalit hai na......arrangements dekhne keliye ??(Lalit is here to take care of arrangements right ??) you could have taken rest for sometime.

Avi – no way....it's your engagement yaar. My shona's... so everything should be perfect.

Samriti – acha ok baba...where is aunty and uncle ??

Samriti goes towards her room. she sees Ruchika..

Samriti goes to Ruchika and talks to her. They both play jokes on Lalit.

Later Samriti goes upstairs for taking rest.

After half an hour...

both Samriti and Kunal are called for the engagement.

Kunal is standing there on the stage.

Samriti is descending the steps. Kunal's back is facing her.

Samriti's heartbeat is rising while descending each step.

Their society children point towards Samriti – Samriti didi is coming...

Kunal sees her turning back.

SAMRITI SEES HIM AND GETS SHOCKED.

SHE WHISPERS – KUNAL SIR ...

she is descending the steps... and Kunal is moving towards her. They both look into each other eyes.

Samriti is remembering her moments with Kunal when he saved her and her phone conversations with her Kunal.

She gets teary-eyed... She is about to fall but Kunal catches her holding her by the waist.

Shivam (shouts) – Shona... careful.....

Shivam and all run to them. Seeing them Kunal leaves Samriti and makes her stand.

Samriti stares at Kunal continuously....she does not say a thing...

Shivam – Shona...he is Kunal...Kunal Upadhyay... your fiance...

Samriti looks at him expressionlessly. Shivam gets sad.

Kunal – Samriti...mai.....(Samriti I...)

Lalit comes to Samriti to change the environment..

Lalit – so what about the bet my dear behna ??(sister) Who won ?? you or me??

Samriti (expressionless) – you only won lucky....

Shivam and all get shocked.

Kunal – Samriti...

Ruchika – bhabhi....

Shivam – Shona what are you saying ??

Lalit – di what are you saying ??

Avi looks at Samriti suspiciously...

All are confused hearing her.

Shivam, Shamila, and Lalit (together) – iska matlab......(that means)

all laughs while two people get angry.

they are none other than Shivam and Samriti..

Shivam – shut up Lalit.....

Riya is holding a cd.

Lalit gulps in fear...

Kunal and Samriti come to the stage.

Both are looking at each other. So many thoughts are running through both the brains. But both are covering them with their smile.

Ruchika gives ring to Kunal. And Shamila gives ring to Samriti.

Samriti looks nervous. Shivam keeps his hand on her shoulder and signals her to forward her hand.

She smiles at him and forwards.

Kunal makes her wear the ring.

later she holds Kunal's hand and makes him wear the ring.

All smile and clap for them. Avi comes and hugs the couple....

Avi – I am so happy for you both... Shona you know Kunal is very good..

Samriti – acha toh tu janta tha ??(oh so you know the truth ?)

Avi – ha....woh...mai....(fears)

Kunal – why are you so afraid of her Avi ??

Avi – nothing like that Kunal...(to Samriti)actually Shona.....Shivam uncle told me.

Samriti – ha that's why you are moving so freely with Kunal right... now I understood.

Avi – hmm sorry yaar.

Samriti – it's not your fault Avi. it's because of my stupid bet.

Kunal – what would you do if you know that it was me before only.

She is still in shock and could not accept it.

Lalit saw her nervousness.

Kunal then realizes that he is hugging her very tightly. he releases.

Samriti looks down.

Samriti – it's ok. And thank you. It's true that I have many doubts in my mind but still, I am happy. Because I trust my papa. I trust him blindly. I know he will never take wrong decisions for me and I like you... Um... Can I ask you something ??

Samriti suddenly remembers how she introduced Kunal and Ruchika to Damodarprasad and Annapurna...

Kunal Sees her expressions changing – kya hua ??(what happened ??)

Samriti (looking down) – I am sorry. I introduced you and Ruchika to your own parents.... how embarrassing it is....and you too how can you call ma as aunty...

Kunal – then what should I do ?? because of you, mom was angry with me..

Samriti – ha toh aapki galti hai....(ha so it's your mistake)

they both argue for a few moments and later laugh at each other.

They go down. Samriti is still embarrassed.

Samriti and Kunal go to Damodarprasad and Annapurna.

Samriti – sorry ma papa..actually that ..day..I introduced you to your own son...

Annapurna and Damodarprasad laugh

Samriti gets more embarrassed.

Damodarprasad – no need of sorry beta. In fact, we enjoyed it very much.

Damodarprasad says Samriti how Annapurna acted to be angry with Kunal.

Samriti and Damodarprasad laugh and give hi-fi to each other.

Kunal – mom...see how they are teasing me.....

Annapurna – jiii stop teasing my son.....

Ruchika and Lalit too come and join them.

They all have fun. Later the couple is made to sit in the chairs. They take blessings from everyone.
