You couldn't believe you were going on a date with Mark. You had liked him for a long time and we're excited enough that you got to live with him and do collab videos with him. Him asking you on a date was more than you ever imagined would happen and you were so overjoyed.
You called up your friend, Kat Author's Note: I'm in the story too!!! >:) and told her all about your date as you put together what you were gonna wear.
"You got a date with Markiplier?!? AAAAAA!!!!!! Girl, you're so lucky!" She was extremely excited.
"Yeah...maaaaaybe." You blushed just thinking about it.
   "I'm so happy for you! I saw the video where he asked you out and I just kinda died cause it was really romantic and not to mention unexpected. I mean he always jokes that he's not gonna get a girlfriend for a long time. He must really like you." You blushed at Kat's rambling.
   "Well, I got to get dressed for tonight so I'll see ya later Kat!" You said. She said bye and you hung up. You put on a (f/c) t-shirt with a blue version of the lucky flannel over it and long skinny jeans. You styled your (h/l) (h/c) hair and smiled in the mirror. You looked really good. You walked down the stairs from your room and met Mark at the door. He looked you up and down.
   "Wow (y/n)...you look...amazing!" You blushed.
   "Thanks. You look pretty great yourself; especially with the lucky flannel."
   "Lucky flannel baby!" He ruffled the plaid shirt and you laughed as he made a funny face. He put his arm awkwardly around you as the two of you walked out the door and got into the car. You sat in the passengers seat as he drove the two of you to a semi-fancy restaurant.
   "So what restaurant are we going to?"
   "It's a surprise." He said; winking at you. He pulled into a burger joint that you heard really great reviews about. The name of the place sounded familiar but you couldn't quite put your finger on it. He opened your car door for you and the two of you interlocked arms as you walked inside. You both were seated and took a look at the menu.
   "Sorry if I seem a bit awkward on the whole conversation portion of this. There's a reason I fail all those dating simulators." He laughed nervously and ran his fingers through the red part of his hair.
   "It's fine. I can lead the conversation...uh...Markimoo?" You laughed nervously at the nickname from multiple games Mark had played on his channel. He smiled at the memories the nickname brought back.
   "So...you're considered the king of Five Nights At Freddy's...do you ever worry someone might steal the crown?" You said this in a joking tone of course because everyone knew his crown wasn't going anywhere.
   "Of course not. Course I'll be excited if they come out with any more games for me to be terribly horrified yet fascinated with."
   "Yeah, nothing's better than watching you react to jumpscares." The two of you laughed.
   "I'd like to see you react to the jumpscares sometime." You gave him a wink and the two of you laughed.
   "So what are you gonna order?" He asked; still concentrating on his menu and putting on a serious face to decide what to eat.
"Probably the (diner food of choice). It sounds really good." He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose and continued to focus on his menu.
"What do you even order to eat on a date? I really haven't been on one of these in forever."
"Whatever you feel like eating." You giggled at his concentration. It was adorable.
"I wonder what's taking our waitress so long." He said. As if on cue, the waitress walked up to the table. She had skinny jeans on, a red t-shirt with the restaurant logo on it and a black apron that had burger grease and Barbecue sauce all over it. Her hair was short and brown in a pixie cut and had strings of barbecue sauce in it. As you looked up at her you realized it was your best friend, Kat.
"Well well well, if it isn't my newest YouTube ship! Hi guys!" She waved nervously at Markiplier whom she admired very much since he was her role model. Author's note: this is very much true but I don't have a hugely significant role in the story so enjoy XD
"Kat? What are you doing here?"
"Well if the apron didn't make it obvious enough, I work here Hun. Glad I got to serve you two! Sorry it took so long to get out here. A man handed me a tray to serve food and accidentally dropped an applewood smoked bacon burger all over me. What can I get you guys to drink?"
"Water please." Mark said.
"(Drink of choice) please." You said. Kat scratched the orders down on her notepad.
   "Got it! I'll be right back with your drinks!" She left with bounce in her step.
"She seems cool." Author's note: Yay! >w<
"Yeah, she's a really great friend although she can be a bit awkward sometimes." There were more crashing noises from the kitchen followed by a curse word or two from Kat.
"And clumsy." You joked. You and Mark laughed and just stared into each others' eyes. His big brown eyes were so easy for you to get lost in; the way they sparkled when he smiled or talked about something he was really passionate about.
"You know you have really beautiful (e/c) eyes." He said; smiling dreamily at you. You blushed.
"Thanks. You have really amazing eyes as well..." There was more silence of the two of you just staring at each other. Kat came back and placed the drinks down on the table.
"Aaawww!!! You guys are so cute!!!" You pushed some of your (h/c) locks out of your face and blushed.
"See Mark? You actually can be good at this dating stuff! Now you'll be sure to win in those dating simulators." You winked at him playfully.
"Dating simulators? You mean those ones where he always fails and it turns out really funny? I love those videos!" Kat laughed and pushed some of her own hair out of her face.
"Yeah yeah, ok I get it. I suck at the dating sims. Meanwhile...I still can't decide what to order. Any suggestions?" He asked Kat.
"Anything but the applewood smoked bacon burger." You, Kat and Mark all laughed at her joke and Mark finally decided.
"I guess I'll have whatever (y/n) is having. She is my sensei on this whole dating thing."
"Two of (diner food of choice) it is." Kat winked at you as if to say, 'good luck and make sure you kiss him'. She walked away towards the kitchen and you blushed.
   "We should play some video games together when we get home. Perfect way to end the night. What do you think (y/n)?" Mark suggested. You smiled.
   "You're on." You took a sip of you (drink of choice) and smiled. He ran his fingers through his hair nervously and blushed.
"What is it?"
"Nothing I just...every time I see your smile I blush. It's really genuine and I love a good, genuine smile." You blushed; causing you to smile even more.
   "You're so adorable...like tiny box Tim." He said, trying to flirt. You giggled at the reference. Kat walked back out with flour all over her face.
   "Seriously, who hired the people in that kitchen?!? Anyways, I need to wash this off my face. Wanna join for a minute (y/n)? Mind if I steal her a minute Markiplier?"
   "Not at all and you can just call me Mark if you want Kat." Author's note: EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! *squeaks* back to you fanfic! You got up and followed Kat to the restrooms of the restaurant. Kat washed her face in the sink and dried her face off with paper towels.
   "Now...has he kissed you yet?"
   "No..." You replied. She sighed.
   "Get him to kiss you girl! Take that package while you've got it!"
   "What are you talking about?" You asked.
   "...I have absolutely no clue. Just make sure you get him to kiss you!" She made something close to a cat face. She stopped you right before you walked out the door.
   "Oh, and getting him a little gift after this successful date wouldn't hurt either as a little romantic touch. There's a gaming store right next door." She winked at you and while you headed back to your table, she went to get your food.
   "Yay! You're back! Is Kat ok? That flour was everywhere."
   "Yeah she's ok." You laughed at the memory. Kat walked over with a tray of all the food. She placed the two plates of (diner food of choice) down and gave you a wink, gesturing to Mark and making a kissy face. You face palmed. You both ate your food and when you were done, you grabbed your wallet from your purse. He reached his hand across the table, making you squeak and he placed your wallet back in your purse.
   "The bill's on me (y/n). Don't worry about it."
   "Oh no, I couldn't let you pay for all of it. It's fine, I'll-"
   "No, I've got it. It's really ok (y/n)."
   "But you've been so nice to me and it's the least I could do to pay for it-" Kat cut the both of you off.
   "Oh for crying out loud, this one's on me guys. Enjoy your night." She took the plates and the bill and gave you and Mark a wink. Author's note: I'm so nice, aren't I? ;) You and Mark stood up and walked out the door. As you walked to the door, he interlocked his fingers awkwardly with yours and you felt really warm inside. You guys paused before you got in the car.
   "I had a really fun time tonight (y/n). I've never been on a date that fun...course I haven't been on a date in a long time either. I'd love to go on another date sometime if you want?" You nodded and hugged him. He hugged you back and smiled. He stopped the hug and looked in your eyes as you looked in his eyes.
   "You're such an amazing person (y/n). W-would you m-mind if I...if I..." You understood what he was asking and leaned in. He kissed back immediately. You felt his soft lips on yours and the two of you were radiating heat in the mildly chilly air. Author's note: and then Kat pops out of the bushes with a camera, "Paparazzi Click Click!" *takes photo* jk :P back to the smooch train! ;) As the two of you pulled away from the kiss, you opened your eyes slowly and looked each other deep in the pools of your eyes and smiled at each other.
   "I wouldn't mind at all." You said giving him a wink. You looked to your left and remembered Kat's advice about getting a new game from the game store next door.
   "I'll be right back Mark." You said. He sat in the car and waited for you. He had no idea what you were doing but he saw you going into the game store and smiled. You came up to the clerk at the counter. He was the only one working and the lights in the store were faded; giving the place a creepy feeling about it.
   "Hello sir!" He looked at you closely and smiled.
   "I know you!" You were confused.
   "Y-you do?"
   "Yeah, you're Markiplier's new girlfriend." You blushed. You had almost forgotten that the fans witnessed him asking you out on a date.
   "Yeah, that's me. Um...do you have any new games he might be interested in playing? I'm trying to get him a really good game as a present to say thanks for the date we went on tonight." He smirked at you.
   "He's the king of Five Nights At Freddy's, no?" You nodded.
   "Well, I happen to have a new leaked version of the game and I think you guys would have a fun time playing it. You can do a play through for it, just don't tell the fans you got it from me. It's brand new."
   "That'll do! How much for it?" He smirked.
   "It's on me deary. Have fun with your boyfriend. You're truly a lucky girl." You grabbed the game and put it in the bag.
   "Thank you so much store clerk man!" You said.
   "Have a lovely night!" He said as you walked out the door. You walked back to the car and got in. When you guys got home, he stole the bag from you in the living room and took the game out of the bag.
   "Holy shit! A new challenge approaches me! Tis an honor to face my old friend in a leaked game." Mark said in a really dorky voice. You laughed.
   "The King returns!" He shouted. He took the game out and set up for you and him to play it.
