Luffy: She was taken?

Kitty: Yeah...

Luffy: Tch! Then we're going after her!

Kitty: We have no idea where she is though!

Craig: Well...

Craig: I snagged this while that crazy lady sat on my head...

He holds out a small device. Silver and oval shape like a pocket watch. Flicking its little hatch open, it began projecting a holographic map with a red blip flashing that had a little ID saying "X23".

Kitty: Good job, Craig!

Sanji:(mumbles) Lucky bastard...

Luffy: Alright! Let's go!

Kitty: You just came out of boiling water, are you sure you're okay?

Luffy: Of course! That water was nothing! Now let's go!

He slams his straw hat onto his head. But before they could go, Zeff walked up and tossed a bag to Sanji.

Zeff: I'm right in thinking that you're leaving.

Sanji:....

Sanji: As a mutant, I'll only bring bad press to the Baratie.

Sanji: Beside, your stale style of running this place, makes your restaurant too shitty to work in.

Sanji: I'm off to find the All Blue.

Grabbing his bag with a bitter sweet expression. Luffy and the others go on ahead with Sanji quickly following.

He stopped to glance back at Zeff.

Sanji: I'll never forget you Zeff. How can I? You saved my life when anyone else would have just left me to die for being a Mutant.

Sanji: *sniff* Try to keep this crummy restaurant afloat without me.

He runs after his new crew, who get on their crappy truck and race it in Laura's direction. A days journey to find her.

(Opening theme)

Laura woke up in her childhood room. A white padded room with old blood staind here and there. Cameras were in every corner as she laid crucified to the floor with knives in her wrist legs and chest.

Laura: Grrrr... Kimura....!

Kimura:(speaker) Awww, is our little runaway awake? Well good evening sleepy head!

Looking around and feeling a chill, Laura found that she had been completed stripped over her cloths. This was one of Kimura's punishments.

Her mother fought to cloth her, Kimura allowed it, only so Laura would know shame when it was taken away.

Laura: Kimura! I'm here, now bring my mother too me!!

Kimura:(speaker) Now, now... You've been a very bad girl X23.

Kimura:(speaker) The good people of the Weapon Plus program are afraid you went soft.

Kimura:(speaker) So you're going to have to show them otherwise.

Laura growls as she flexes her body, ripping her limbs from the blades that pinned her down. Once free, she pulled the blades out of her body completely, allowing her healing factor to work its magic.

But Kimura, the cruel person she was, released a bear into her room.

Bear: ROOAAR!!

Laura: Oh, fuck off!!

Shoving Laura onto her stomach, the Bear leaned down to bite into her.

*Snikt*

Popping a metal claw out of her foot, Laura kicked the bear in the mouth, skewering its brain.

Kimura:(speaker) And this is why we never gave you a pet.

Laura: Grrr...!

Getting up, Laura pops her claws and digs them into the lobotomized bear, helping her lift it over her head so she could throw it through the door.

*Crash*

Escaping her room, she found the facility full of individuals wearing surgical masks.

Laura: Where's Kimura?!

No one answered, they only ran.

Laura:(glares) I. Am. Done. With ALL OF THIS!!! RAAAAHHH!!

*Shunk*

*Splat*

*Crack*

*Ka-thunk*

*Bang* Bang*

*Bang* Bang*

*Bang* *Bang*

*Splat*

Showing no mercy, Laura tore through everyone in her way who did answer her questions. Leaving behind a trail of blood and gore she explored the facility with Kimura's commentary echoing non-stop.

Laura: *Sniff* *Sniff*

Laura: Found you...

Kimura:(speaker) I guess I can give you a passing grade.

Laura: And I'll give you a grave if my mom isn't with you unharmed.

Kimura:(speaker) Hehehe... I haven't done a thing to her. Scouts honor.

(Elsewhere....)

Luffy and his crew drive along a dirt path as the follow the tracker to the base of of a mountain.

Parking their rusty truck, the four hop out and stare at what looked like a mine tunnel.

Sanji's eyes glared as he tightened his tie. Craig stared both excited and frightened. Kitty hold a stern gaze as Luffy inhales sharply.

Luffy: LAURAAAAAAAAA!!!

Kitty: Well there goes the element of surprise...

Sanji: I don't know if we even had it to begin with.

Craig: My first secret base... Ho boy...

Luffy: Hmm... Let's check inside.

Casually, Luffy leads the charge into the mine.

As expected, the walls were damp. Nothing out of the ordinary until they found a metal door at the end.

Kitty: I got this.

Kitty phases through the door and manages to open it for the other side.

Luffy:(smiles) Shihihihih! Great job!

Sanji: You're amazing, Kitty-cat~!

Craig: Is no one worried that we haven't met a single guard in our way?

Luffy: Nope.

Sanji: It's odd... But don't worry, Kitty-Cat. I'll protect you.

Craig: Hey... I'm the one who's worried! Protect me!

Sanji:(deadpan) Aren't you immortal?

Craig: It still hurts to die!

Luffy: *inhale*

Luffy: LAURAAAAAAA!!!!!!

Kitty: Would you stop shouting?!

Luffy: Never!

Entering the facility, the four search every room four a clue on Laura.

The lack of people, and security did not leave a pleasant feeling for most of the team. This feeling of paranoia and expectation for a trap worsen when they turned a corridor to find a straight line of gore and blood.

Craig vomited, Kitty looked away as Sanji glared.

Luffy:....

With a tight fist, Luffy continued down the corridor with his team following.

Kitty: This... Was likely Laura... She's a Wolverine after all...

Craig: Ugh... Remind me never to get on her bad side.

Sanji: What do you mean she's a Wolverine?

Kitty: I don't know the details, but she's the daughter of THE Wolverine.

Sanji: Huh...

Lighting a cigarette, Sanji looks around.

Sanji: I see...

Seeing the dead bear in the room ahead, Sanji noticed something in the room off to the side. Entering, he discovered the observation room where researchers would observe X23.

Kitty and Craig followed Sanji into the room once he began messing with the computers.

Sanji: Let's see what they have here...

*Click*

A video of a young Laura began to play.

It began with her in the white room. From there, the scene change to her training with Kimura who clearly showed sickening cruel behavior towards Laura.

Beating the emotions out of her, while giving her the berserker rage that Wolverine was known for. It became clear that this footage was a highlight reel of Laura's upbringing into a weapon to rival The Wolverine.

Sanji:...

Kitty: Poor Laura....

Craig: What the hell is wrong with people...?

The last scene shocked the crew.

Meanwhile, Luffy was already on up a few floors.

Luffy: Laura?

He opens a door.

Luffy: Laura!

Luffy: Oh?

Discovering the lunch room, Luffy enters and approches the vending machine. Eying up the beef jerky.

Luffy:(licks lips)

Crouching down he shoves his hand into machine after lifting the hatch.

Luffy: Urk! Come on! Give me, give me!

(Elsewhere....)

Cutting a hole into the door, Laura rips herself an entrance into the hanger where Kimura's jet was docked. She finds Kimura sitting on a lawn chair with a bear.

Kimura: *siiips*

Kimura:(shakes can)

Kimura: Hmmm... Be a dear, and bring me another beer. There's a mini fridge in the jet.

Laura: I came here. Now show her to me!

Kimura: After all those people you slaughtered? You wanna see her, while naked and covered in blood?

Laura: Where. Is. She?

Kimura:(smirks) You know... Those people you killed weren't part of Weapon Plus.

Laura: Huh?

Kimura: They were just a bunch of homeless I dressed up and promised to pay!

Kimura: BAHAHA!

Laura: What the hell is wrong with you...?!

Kimura: Mommy issues and lack of therapy.

Laura:(glares) Why go out of your way to make me kill innocents!?

Kimura: TO PUNISH YOU!

Getting up, Kimura throws her beer can at Laura who swats it away. The two stomp towards each other.

Kimura: When you ran... I GOT BLAMED!

Kimura: What made you think you get to run off and go to the mall and play teenager?

Kimura: You are an object! A weapon!

Laura: Shut the hell up!

Kimura: Or what? You aren't strong enough to pierce my skin! Or do I have to carve it into your brain for you to remember!?

Laura: I'll ask you one more time... Where is my mom!?!

Kimura: Oh you poor thing, you honestly forgot?

Laura: *sniff*

Laura glances back to see Craig.

Craig: Oh there you-

Craig:(looks away) Why are you naked?!

Laura: How did you find me!?

Craig: We nicked this tracker from that lady.

Kimura:(checks belt)

Kimura:(smirks) Fine, enough beating around the bush... Kill him and I'll tell you where she is.

Laura:...

Craig: Wait, what?

She approaches Craig.

Craig: Whoa, whoa, let's maybe discuss this! I'm an amazing lawyer! So why don't I help you discuss a better-

*Snikt*

Craig: No, no, no! Not the claws! Not the claws!

*Splat*

Laura punched him in the stomach. Craig is sent flying all the way back down the corridor.

Laura:...

Laura: Satisfied?

Kimura: No.

Kimura: But I'll throw you a bone.

*Snap*

Sentinels carrying a casket, march out from the jet. They gently place it in front of Laura.

Laura: What's this?

Kimura simply held a wicked grin, making Laura truly frightened by what she would find inside.

Nevertheless, she opened it.

Laura:!?

She fell to her knees at the sight of her mothers rotting corpse.

Laura: Mommy!!!

Kimura: Pffft...! Bahaha!!

Laura: I'LL KILL YOU!!

*Snikt*

Digging her claws into the Sentinel's, she begins chopping them into scrap before rushing towards a hysterical Kimura.

She thrust her claws towards Kimura, but they only pushed her back.

Laura's second tried resulted in Kimura sliding in close and digging her thumbs into her eyes.

Laura: Gaaaaah!?!

Kimura: You can't beat me! I know you better than you know yourself!

Tossing her to the other end of the hanger, Kimura shuts down the holographic wall to reveal the outside.

Kimura: Do you wanna know what's funny?

Kimura: It was you.

Kimura: You killed your own mommy! Bahaha! The guard that chased you two broke a vial of your trigger scent and you then stabbed her to death!

Laura: N-no... You lie!

Kimura:(smirks) Why would I lie about something like that?

Laura: Kimura...

Kimura: Go cool your head. We have time.

Kicking Laura out out if the hanger, she is sent tumbling down the mountain side. Sanji, Kitty and Craig, seeing this, immediately decided to race down to go get Laura.

*THUD*

Laura:... Ugh... Urk!

Her body mended itself. Once the physical pain faded, Laura got on her knees, feeling utterly defeated.

Trying to think about anything other than her mother's death. Her mind decided to think about the tracker.

How did Kimura track her?

Thinking about it, her mind came upon the recent memory of when she was abducted from the mall. In the reunion with Kimura, she phased into her arm to cause her pain.

*Snikt*

Cutting open her left arm, Laura quickly found a small chip.

Laura: Kimura...

She muttered with gritted teeth.

*Shunk*

Stabbing her arm, she destroyed the chip.

Laura: Kimura...!

*Shunk*

Laura: Kimura!

She did not stop stabbing herself.

*Shunk* *Shunk* *Shunk*

Laura: KIMURA! KIMURA! KIMURA!

*Whoosh*

Laura:!

Luffy, who had gotten lost, and ended up outside, walked up behind Laura and grabbed her wrist, preventing her from stabbing herself against.

Laura:... Tch!

She pulls her arm out of Luffy's grip.

Laura: Go away!

Luffy:...

Laura: You don't know what's going on here.

Luffy: I don't.

Laura: I've killed people, I could kill you too!

Luffy: I know.

Laura: Tch...!

Leaning forward, she puts her hands on the ground, and quickly begins tossing dirt behind her, onto Luffy.

Laura: Then go! Leave me alone! Go! Go damn it!

Luffy;...

Laura: *Sobs*

She stops, her body trembling from grief and rage. Laura had no idea what to do. Kimura taught her everything she knows. And with all the trauma she inflicted, trying to beat her was a scary thought. Not to mention the trigger scent that would make her lose control.

She couldn't run. Kimura found her once, she'll do it again.

Not even death was an option. It was either Kimura, or...

Laura: Luffy....

She turns to Luffy, tears running down her eyes.

Laura: H-Help me...

Luffy:....

Grabbing his hat, Luffy plucks it from his head, silently placing it onto Laura's head. Laura remembering how this hat was supposedly his treasure watched Luffy walk a few feet in front of her, before suddenly crouching with a sharp inhale.

Luffy: *GAAAAASP*

Luffy: OF COURSE I WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLL!!

Suddenly standing up, with a loud booming voice, Luffy roared at the top of his lungs the answer he said without a shred of hesitation.

The animals near, fluttered away, frightened by the sudden yelling.

Laura, sat speechless as Luffy headed towards the facility.

Luffy: Let's go!

Craig/Kitty/Sanji: Right!

The trio who arrived to see this exchange could only agree with the future King Of The Mutants command, following him as he led the charge up to Kimura, his fists clenched tightly.

Laura stared at her friends as they charged towards Kimura until they vanished out of sight.

Glancing up, she saw Kimura glaring down on her.

Luffy:(cracks knuckles)

*Stomp*

*Stomp*

Sentinel: Mutant-

Luffy: "Gum-Gum; Pistol"!!!

*CLANG*

Punching the Sentinel guarding the door across the hanger, out into the woods, Luffy easily cleared a path for him and his crew to enter.

Luffy: KIMUURRRAAAAA!!!!

Kimura:(smiles) Present!

Kimura: And might I ask... What's with calling out your attack names?

Luffy: Hmph. All great fighters call out their attacks!

Kimura: No they don't, kid....

Her three last remaining Sentinels march in front of Kimura.

Luffy ran on ahead, leaping over the three, leaving the Sentinels to his friends, whilst he headed straight towards Kimura.

Swinging his arm back, it stretched out, before he swung it forth at Kimura.

Luffy: "Gum-Gum; Pistol"!!!

Throwing a punch, Luffy and the rest watch as his arm phases through her body.

Everyone:!?

Kitty: Welp, I feel less special...

Kimura: Nice try kid! But I don't play nice!

As Luffy's arm snapped back, Kimura stepped closer and reached out her arm.

Kimura: How about I rip that bleeding heart of yours right out!?!

Luffy/Everyone:!!

Grabbing Luffy's heart, Kimura squeezed and pulled to reveal Luffy's beating heart.

Kimura: Hm?

Letting go, the heart simply snapped back like rubber into his chest faster then the phasing effect could wear off.

Kimura: Eh? Your internal organs are rubbery too!?

Luffy: Rah!

*WHAM*

Punching Kimura, Luffy knocks her back.

Kitty: Alright! Let's do our part!

Running up to a Sentinel, Kitty grabs onto it, phasing it and herself through the floor.

Sanji kicks his through a wall and begins fighting it in the next room.

Craig stared at his, then ran out of the room, leading it to chase him across the complex.

Kimura wipes her jaw. Standing up, she pulls out two knives, remembering how firearms had no effect on the rubber boy.

Luffy fired his Gum-Gum Pistol at Kimura who side stepped the attack and slashed his arm.

Wincing, Luffy's arm snapped back with Kimura following it to Luffy.

*Woosh*

Stepping back, Luffy avoided the first slash. To avoid the second the rubber lad leap frogged over Kimura who spun around to kick Luffy. The blunt attack had no effect, only able to push Luffy.

Luffy/Kimura:(glare)

On the floor below, Kitty phases her sentinel into the floor, where she left it stuck.

Sanji kicked his into a dented mess.

Craig, accidentally led it to the generator room, where he managed to hide from it.

Craig:(mind) Alright Mr. Immortal! You escaped another close encounter!

Sentinel: Scanning for target.

Craig: *gulp*

Looking around, Craig looked for something to arm himself with. The robotic mutant hunter marched in seaech of Craig, with its arm cannon charged and ready to fire.

Turning corner to corner, they got increasingly closer to Craig.

Mr. Immortal then suddenly leaped out and attached jumper cables to the machine. The high voltage travel across its body, and then Craig's as it grabbed him.

Craig: Uhmggjshyuhhaaaazzzz!?

Short circuiting the Sentinel, Craig was dropped to the floor, fried.

Craig:.... *GASP*!!

Craig: Ahhhh, god!

Craig: Wait... I did it? Hell yeah! Mr. Immortal saves the day again!

(Back with Luffy)

Ducking under Kimura's attack, Luffy springed back to his feet to headbutt her, but activating her phasing ability, Luffy went straight through. Landing on his hand, Luffy split his legs to avoid a stab from Kimura who twirled the blade in ther best position to swing it down.

Clapping his feet together, Luffy caught the attack.

Swinging his waste, Luffy tosses Kimura as he got back on his feet. X23's handler spun in the air and landed gracefully and straight into a dash towards this teenager who stretched his arm back, grabbing a the destroyed Sentinel, Laura previously destroyed.

Flinging it at Kimura, Luffy watched her roll under it, rather than phase through it.

Luffy:(smiles)

Swinging both arms back, Luffy timed his next attacks.

Luffy: "Gum-Gum; Metal Bazooka"!!!

With two pieces of Sentinel he grabbed, Luffy fired his bazooka at Kimura just as she was about to attack.

Not seeing the metal, Kimura phased through the attack. But as the metal past her she overcome with a heavily unpleasant feeling.

Kimura:(shivers) You little...!

Luffy: "Gum Gum; Stamp!"

Kicking her into the side of her jet, Luffy ran up and unleashed a series of rapid fire punches.

Luffy: "Gum-Gum; Gattaling"!!

*THUD* *THUD* *THUD* *THUD* *THUD* *THUD*
*THUD* *THUD* *THUD* *THUD* *THUD* *THUD*

Firing off punches at such a rate it seemed like he had multiple arms, each hit dented the jet more and more until Luffy punched Kimura through and into the jet.

*CLANG*

Hopping into the jet, Luffy saw Kimura sitting in the dent he made with her.

Lowering her hand down to her belt, Kimura twisted her buckle a few times before pressing it.

*Boom*

*Rumble*

Explosion began to riddle the complex, causing it to rumble as it threatened to collapse.

Luffy: Whoa!

Losing his balance, Kimura saw her opportunity and took it.

Rushing in closer, she swung bother her blades. The first one missed but the second one landed cleanly in Luffy's stomach.

Luffy: Agh!?

Kimura:(wicked grin)

She smiled maliciously as she twisted her blade.

Kimura: I set this place to blow, kid! You and your friends are gonna get buried alive if the explosions don't kill ya!

Luffy: We'll be fine!

Kimura: I can at least make sure you stay buried, because even if you survive, you'll starve before anyone digs you up!

Luffy: Hgh!

Grabbing her wrist, Luffy pulls her blade out of his stomach.

Kimura: Bahaha! The best part is, that you can't do anything to me! You don't have the power to pierce my dense body...

Kimura: Nor can you counter my phasing!

Kimura: X23 is coming with me! I can't wait to torment her with the fact I killed her friends!

Luffy:(glares) I won't let you bully my friend!

Pushing her back, Luffy places a hand on hid wound.

Luffy: Ugh...!

Luffy: Laura is coming with me.

Kimura: You honestly think you can use her better?

Luffy; Use? She isn't some thing to be used!

Luffy: She's my friend!

Luffy: And you made her cry....

Luffy: For that... I'll show you how weak your body really is against my strength!

Luffy: "Gum-Gum"!!!

Raising his leg into the air, it stretched up and through the jet and even through the ceiling.

Kimura: A challenge? Bahaha! The day you hurt me, is the day pigs fly!

With both blades, she dashed towards Luffy, lunging at him with her blades out.

Luffy: "BATTLE AXE"!!!!

His leg snapped back as Kimura stabbed him. But by stabbing him, she forced herself to take the incoming blow with her density.

*WHA-BLAM*

Luffy's foot stomped down on her, pushing her through the floor of the jet, and through the many floors of the facility.

Luffy: RaaaAAAAAAHHH!!!

Sanji, Kitty and a stumbling Craig escape the crumbling facility after that surprised explosion and reconvene with Laura.

Hearing Kimura break through each individual floor, the one thing the team didn't hear was the crunch in Kimura's back.

*BOOOOM*

The entire complex ultimate exploded and crumbled with Luffy still inside it.

Laura/Kitty/Craig/Sanji:!!!?

Silence fell on the team as they waited for the dust to settle.

*CRASH*

Luffy however didn't bother waiting and knocked the rubble out of his way. Climbing out what remained of this Weapon Plus facility.

Kitty:(smiles) He made it!

Craig:(wipes tear) I thaught him to do that...

Sanji:(smiles)

Luffy: LAAAAURAAAAAA!!

Laura:?

Luffy: YOU ARE OUR FRIEND!!!

Luffy: NOW AND ALWAYS!! NEVER FORGET IT!!

Laura:(smiles)

A black jet approches the area.
