Dana never moved from the one spot since Raphael had left the room. She could not understand why anyone would do such a thing as to remove their existence to the ones who matter the most. Silent tears fell down her cheeks leaving black line from her make-up. She no longer had a family or friends, she had nothing left from her life. Not even a picture.

" Dana?" A voice called from the other side of the door as a knock came just after. Her eyes snapped up to the door as her heart picked up.

"It's alright. My name is Cas and Raphael is my younger brother. I am going to come in so I can speak with you." Cas spoke as he pushed open the door and walked into the room. The morning sun streamed into the room through the windows on the right side. He held a tray with plates on one side and closed the door with the other. "I brought breakfast." He spoke as he walked over too her bedside. Dana's eyes watched him closely with every move he made as he sat down on her bed. Dana shuffled away from him until the chains stopped her going any further.

" Here, eat this. I know you never ate yesterday, you must be hungry." He said in a gently calm voice as he handed over the tray but sighed when she did not take the tray, instead he placed it onto the bed close to her.

" Look, I am sorry for my brother. Unfortunately he inherited me father's genes of not being the best in communicating. Did my brother tell you about himself and I?" Cas asked as Dana watch him to see if he would do anything as she shook her head in answer. Cas sighed heavily and sunk his face down into his hand.

" I see, well I guess you are entitled to know seeing as he just threw you into the deep end." Cas said before staring at her with an intense gaze.

" Well I guess the story really begins with our parents. My father the previous king fell in love with my mother, who was his mate. But there was a slight problem with them both being mates as you see, my father was a vampire and my mother was a werewolf. Now the problem being that both races hate each other to the point where wars have broken out. But with my mother and father the two races made a treaty. Soon after I was born, at the age of ten my brother was born. But while I was born with my mother's genes, Raphael was born with my father's. Making myself a werewolf and him a Vampire." Cas said to Dana who looked at him with a confused look.

"A-a-a vampire?" Dana asked Cas with a scrapping soft voice.

" Yes. That is the reason why our father gave the throne to him and no myself." Cas told her as he turned her head to look away. "And in all honest truth I'm glad he did. I don't think I would be able to handle it all."

" But why am I being held captive?" She asked again so softly. Cas sighed heavily as he looked down to his lap and then back up to her eyes that were bloodshot red.

" Because, being King of Kings come with enemies. Some will stop at absolutely nothing to get to him through you. And you being human makes it all the more easier for them to hurt you. Now I know it may not seem like it, but I can promise you that he truly cares deeply for you." Cas told her as he reached over and picked up on her chained hands. "He is only doing all this for your safety."

" I just want my life back. I want to go back to dragging myself oi ut of bed at stupid hours only to go into work and be perved on by Josh and yelled at by my boss. I want to go get coffee with my friend and gossip all about my day and then to have my mother phone and complain I don't talk to her enough." Dana once once again allowing tears to flow freely down her already stained cheeks. In truth, she was surprised she still had some left.

" I am truly sorry, Dana." He said as he squeezed her hand in his as if offering her support for what he was about to say. "That life no longer exists. You life is here now. You will soon be my brothers queen and I'm afraid there is nothing you nor I or anyone else for that matter can do about it."

" No." Dana broke once again as she cried in her knees. Dana ripped her hand away from Cas and cuddled herself in a tight ball as she continued to cry uncontrollably. Cas sighed as stood up from her bed and made his way over to the door.

" At least try and see it from his point. He sees you as someone very important and he will do anything to keep you safe." He said as she left her room and closed the door. Dana sat on the bed and continued to cry. This was the only thing she was able to accomplish these past few days.

One thing Dana was certain about was that she could no longer live the life she had wished for so deeply. She planned on working her way up in her job until she could go no higher. She hoped that by then she would be married and then soon after start a family. But that future seemed to slowly be slipping out from between her fingers like sand in water.

Breaking her from her thoughts her bedroom door burst open and a furious looking Raphael stood with his shoulders hunched and fists clenched. His breathing was erratic as his pulled in a deep breath through his nose before growling lowly and slamming the door shut. Dana jump at the clashing bang as fear settled within her.

" Why was my brother in your room?" He growl with an almost red glow in his eyes. His whole demenor seemed to dark considerably the area around his darkened and the devilish look on his face could scare even the devil himself. Heck, he probably is the devil.

"Answer me!" He yelled causing Dana to whimper unable to find her voice. She pulled on the chain even more just to try and gain a larger distance between herself and the raging beast in front of her.

" No matter, I will just make sure everyone knows you are mine. " He howled out as he stormed over to Dana and flattened her onto the bed with his rock hard, heavy, cold body laying on top of her without remorse. Dana tried to move under him as he lay over her like a boulder stopping her from escaping. But even if she managed to get out from under him the chains would not allow her to move that far.

" Please. Get off me, I can't breath." Dana called through struggled breaths. Raphael said nothing as he ran his nose up and down her neck, breathing in her scent as he went. "Stop." Dana wavered to him as she began to feel weak from her lack of oxygen.

But she was soon distracted from the feeling of not beening able breath by the feeling of something breaking her skin on her neck. It's only took her a few moments to realise what was happened to her and even thing connected in mind.

He was a vampire.

And his teeth where currently embedded in her neck.
