Sunday, October 16th, 2027

Isabella's POV

Mama said we are having breakfast in our PJs this morning. Mama's made strawberry french toast, bacon, and eggs for breakfast. Yummy.

We're all sitting at the dining room table, eating our breakfast.

"Pilar, Raquel, and Raeni, I'm taking you home today. Natasha, your dad is going to come to pick you up. Melanie and Sydney, your dads are going to come and pick you up too. I told them to come around noon because we are having a special breakfast. Plus, I have a surprise for everyone after we get dressed."

Pilar replied, "Thank you, Aunt Kam."

"You're welcome, sweetie."

"Thank you, mama, for the sleepover. We had fun."

"You're welcome, Bella. After everyone eats their breakfast, go ahead and start getting dressed. If you need me to help you, let me know."

Raquel and Raeni raised their hands for help. I like to take showers now. The water bothered my eyes at first, but now it doesn't.

"Mama, I'm finished with my breakfast. I'm going to take my shower now."

"Okay, Bella."

Kam's POV

The girls were sad to leave, so I told them we'll have another sleepover next month. Bella and Gabby were excited.

I gave each of the girls a gift bag filled with goodies. They all hugged me. I took a picture with each of the girls.

"Okay, girls let's get ready to ride to Uncle Shane's house."

"Okay, mama."

Thank goodness I have an eight-passenger SUV because I have Sofia, Bella, Gabby, Pilar, Raquel, and Raeni. After unlocking my truck, I put the girl's luggage inside the trunk.

I went back into the house to get the girls and grab my bag. One by one, the girls walked over to my truck. Bella helped each one to get in and buckle their seat belts.

My Bella is growing up. I can't believe Bella and Kekoa will be ten-year-olds next December. And, Cris and I's ten-year anniversary will be in April. We already said we're having an anniversary party. The invitations have already been mailed. I'm so excited about that.

I locked the door, then checked the kids to make sure the seat belts were correct. Once I saw that they were, I sat in the driver's seat and off we go.

I punched in the security code for the gate, then drove up the driveway to the house. I'm guessing Shane probably went to the hospital because I didn't see his SUV. I do see Adrian and Lesia's trucks.

After parking, Bella and I helped everyone out of the truck. The girls took off for the backyard. I smell food cooking from the grill, so Bella and I followed the girls to the backyard.

I saw Pilar talking to Adrian, so that's where I walked.

"Hi, Kami. Thanks for watching the girls this weekend. I hope they behaved. Well, I know Pilar did."

Adrian is a trip! "You're welcome, Adrian. They did. We had loads of fun. I took some pictures, but I'm going to make a photo album so I can give each of the girls a copy. And, guess what? Yesterday, I taught the girls how to jump rope. I don't think the twins liked it, but Pilar loved it."

"Aunt Kam held my hand the first time. But, the next time I did it myself, Nana."

"Good job, Pilar. Wait until your mommy and daddy see you jumping rope."

"Marco took a video. He's going to make copies for everyone. Pilar, look who just came from the patio door."

When she saw Shane, Pilar took off. The twins did too. Adrian and I chuckled.

Kekoa and Angelo ran over to where I was standing with Adrian.

"Mama, I threw a strike while bowling."

"You did? Give mama a high-five." Kekoa gave me a high-five.

"We had fun, mama. Uncle Shane had to take Jordan to the hospital."

"I'm glad you had fun, Angelo. Where is your dad?"

"Papa is helping with bowling."

"See you later, Kami."

"See you later, Adrian."

Just as we were about to walk over to Cris, Brently whistled to get everyone's attention.

"Lunch is now ready."

Angelo and Kekoa took off to wash their hands. My boys all love to eat.

I was about to talk to Shane about Jordan, but he walked inside the house. I'll wait until he comes back. In the meantime, I need to wash my hands, so I went inside the house to the bathroom.

After I was finished, I saw Shane beginning to walk outside.

"Hi, Shane. How's my nephew doing?"

"Jordan has severe Asthma. We'll have to use a nebulizer mask for him. And, guess what? He let Bliss put the mask on without hesitation."

"Let me know what I can do to help. I use to have one of those as a kid."

"We're planning a dinner for the family to show everyone how to use the nebulizer for when they watch Jordan."

"Okay. Let me know when the dinner is, and we'll come. Thanks for having the boys over. They said they had a good time."

"I'm glad they enjoyed themselves. We will definitely have more parties and sleepovers for the kids in the future. Now, let's go eat."

"I'm right behind you."

Saturday, November 6th, 2027

Kami's POV

It's been a while since we had a family dinner here at the house, so we invited everyone over for today.

"Mom, can you taste test my dish?"

Dia fixed some lasagna. Isabela taught her the family recipe. She's doing really well in her Home Economics class. I tasted the sample she put on a spoon.

"Good job, Dia. It's delicious."

"Thank you."

We heard feet coming towards the kitchen. It was Braelyn, Natasha, and Layla.

"Aunt Kam!" Natasha came over to hug me.

"Hi, Natasha. How are you?"

"I'm fine, Aunt Kam. I helped mommy make cookies."

"Good job. I can't wait to taste one. Hi, Layla and Braelyn. Layla, can we chat for a little bit?"

"Of course, Kam."

"Let's go sit on the patio couch."

Layla and I walked outside and took a seat.

"Layla, I feel like I owe you an apology."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"My dad mentioned something to me, and it's bothering me. He told me that I seem closer to Bliss than I do to you. I'm sorry. I love both of you, equally."

"Kam, you don't have to apologize. I don't feel slighted in any way. And, remember-you and Bliss share a sister bond. Of course, we have a sister bond too, but your dad adopted Bliss, Julian, and Andrea."

"That's what he said, but I still feel bad."

"Listen, we've been friends too long for something like this to break our friendship apart. I'm not mad or upset. I appreciate you telling me, but Kami, don't feel like you have to apologize."

"Thanks, Layla." I hugged Layla tight, then we went inside the house. Bliss, Shane, and the kids are here. I sure did pick Jordan up and kissed his cheeks.

"Hi, cutie pie. How are you? Hi, Bliss and Shane. Thanks for coming. It's been a while since we've gotten together."

"Hi, Kam. It really has. Next thing you know, our interview will be here. Jordan is fine. For a child so young to be using a nebulizer, he takes it well. We are grateful for that."

"Jordan is very smart, just like his mommy and daddy. He hasn't cried either when I had to give him a treatment. Let's go have a seat in the dining room. We are in for a treat tonight. The kids fixed dinner for us - Angelina, Rocco, Dia, Braelyn, Devin, Kekoa, Bella, and Natasha helped Layla with cookies for dessert. I made a dessert too."

"We brought some grilled chicken and green beans. Andrea wasn't feeling well, so she apologized for not making it tonight."

"Thanks, Bliss. That's okay. I'll make sure to save some food for them, and take it tomorrow."

After taking our seats, my dad whistled to get everyone's attention.

"Family, tonight we are in for a treat. The kids made dinner for us this evening. Each kid will tell us what they made. Braelyn, let's start with you first."

"Rocco, Dia, and I came up with the idea. You all have always spoiled us with amazing dinners, so we wanted to do the same. I made fried chicken wings. I made two flavors - buffalo and honey barbecue. "

Everyone gave Braelyn a round of applause. "I can't wait to taste them. Rocco has been raving about your wings since the party." Braelyn and Rocco were blushing. Those two are so cute.

Dia went next. "My Nonna, Isabela, taught me how to make her homemade lasagna. I hope everyone enjoys it." We all gave Dia a round of applause. She's nervous about everyone's reaction because this is her first time cooking for others besides us.

Devin went next. "With my dad's help, I made grilled burgers stuffed with cheese, bacon, and onions." Devin got a round of applause too.

"I sampled one, and oh boy, it was delicious. My boy is going to be a grill master."

Rocco let Bella and Angelo go next. "My Nonno helped us to make Hawaiian fried rice." Bella and Kekoa got a round of applause. They both curtsied. That was too cute.

Natasha and Logan went next. "My mommy helped us make cookies for dessert." Natasha and Logan got a round of applause too. Little Shane rose his hand.

"I helped my daddy."

"You did? What did you help your daddy with?"

Papa Shane added, "Shane was my assistant in making the grilled chicken."

"Good job, Shane." Shane got a round of applause too.

Angelina went next. "I fixed Arroz Con Pollo for everyone tonight. It's my grandma Salomé's recipe. I want to follow in her footsteps one day." We gave Angelina a round of applause as she hugged Salomé. Rocco went last.

"I love pizza, so I asked my dad for tips on how to make pizza. He showed me everything I needed to know to perfect the pizza crust. So, I made a pepperoni pizza and veggie pizza for everyone tonight." We gave Rocco a round of applause.

"Well, we know Shane won't eat any of the veggie pizza," Adrian said, causing us to crack up. Jordan laughed too. Shane just rolled his eyes.

"Let's eat."

"Let's give our kids a standing ovation." We all stood up and clapped for the kids. Jordan tried to clap too.

"Adrian, Salomé', Kalani, Olivia, Isabela, we have some amazing grandchildren," Lesia says.

Adrian added, "We sure do. And, it all starts with the parents - Bliss, Shane, Layla, Ryan, Austin, Kami, Cris, Marco, Daniella, and Noeli. Add Andrea, Mason, Carly, and Julian."

"You guys started it all. As our parents, you taught us how to be respectful and hard-working individuals. That's what we want our kids to be too," Bliss then said.

"Bliss is absolutely right. Without your guidance, we wouldn't be who we are today. Cheers to everyone. Time to dance off the food now, so Cris Fiore and Shane Landes, let's go."

Bliss grabbed Shane's arm. Jordan and I grabbed Cris' arm to dance. Neither one of them protested this time. I put on some dance music. And, away we go.

Devin's POV

Time sure flew by quickly. Winter break is finally here. And, I get a point-of-view.

We recently received our reports cards. And everyone got good grades.

I spoke to my grandparents in California, and they will be coming for a visit soon. I'm excited about that.

Today is interview day for mom and the twins. My mom even apologized to me about not being on the show. She didn't want to leave me out. I don't feel left out at all. I'm proud to be a part of the family. They are the only parents that I know. They take me to California every year to visit my grandparents. And we always have fun together, so I told her I never feel left out. I feel loved, and that's what every kid wants. She cried when I said that. Well, I did too, and I am not ashamed.

We are waiting for mom, Aunt Bliss, and Aunt Layla to come downstairs.

Bliss's POV

"Mummy, can we get dressed now?" Raquel and Raeni asked me.

"Yes, you can. Bring your dresses over so I can help you."

Raquel came over first, so I helped her put her dress on. Once finished, Raeni came over.

"Wait until your daddy sees your outfit. Now, let me get dressed."

Layla's POV

I'm glad Bliss and Shane let us all get dressed at their house. It saves a lot of time because these boys of mine are a trip.

"Dakota and Dalton, follow your dad so mommy can get dressed."

They didn't even say goodbye, just followed Ryan out the door. I had to chuckle. We are going to have an interesting interview.

Kami's POV

Why am I so nervous about this interview? I'm far from shy. My stomach feels like it is twisted in a knot.

Well, I better get dressed. "Come on, Kam. You can do this."

Shane's POV

My mum suggested that each mom, along with their kids, make a grand entrance down the staircase. She is at the top of the staircase. Niko and Griffin are recording.

"Ladies and gentlemen, coming down the staircase are Dakota, Dalton, and Layla Meyers!"

We all applauded Layla and the boys as they came down the stairs. The twins ran over to Layla's mom, Olivia.

"I love your dress, Layla," Sophia says to her.

"Thank you, Sophia. I don't dress up often, so I figured why not?"

"Next down the staircase, we have Kami, Gabby, Isabella, Dia, Angelo, Kekoa, and Rocco Fiore!"

The Fiore crew came down the staircase. Kami blew kisses to everyone as she came down. Cris was whistling.

Once Kam came down the stairs, she struck a pose like a model. That got us all to chuckle.

"Thanks, everyone. I am nervous as heck."

"Kami, don't be. You'll do fine with the interview," Kalani says as he hugged Kam.

"Thanks, dad."

"Last but not least, making their way down the staircase, we have Raquel, Raeni, and Bliss Landes!"

This time, I whistled as my girls came down the staircase while everyone else clapped. As soon as they took the last step, Bliss whispered something to the twins.

They struck a model pose, and of course, I snapped a picture.

"Tada!"

"Daddy! Daddy! Look at our dresses!" Both Raeni and Raquel came over to show me their dresses. They did a twirl. Pilar came downstairs with my mum. She has the same outfit as the twins.

"How about taking a picture together with your mum and Pilar?"

Raquel walked over to Bliss and Pilar, then dragged them over to where I was standing. "Mummy, daddy wants to take a picture."

"Okay. Okay. Stand in front of me, girls."

Once Bliss and the girls smiled, I snapped a picture. 

"Ladies, we better get going. Bliss, Kam, and Layla, you'll be riding in a limo with the kids. Pilar, Shane and Jordan, you'll ride with me."

"Shane, I'll lock up the house."

"Thanks, dad."

Pilar and I held hands. Shane held Jordan's hand, and the boys followed behind me. After helping the boys in their seats, I sat in the driver's seat. Once the ladies were in the limo, we pulled away from the house.

It's interview time.
