Kanan p.o.v

I wake up when my alarm clock started to ringing. It was 6 at the morning. I get up and changed my night clothes. I made some breakfast and sat on the table and started to eat. The house was so silent without her. It has been a week after Hera's death. She crashed with her car. She was calling her car the gost. She was coming from the work when it happened. Me and her were going to search for a boy to adopt. She always wanted a son like I did. So today I am going to an orphanage and I will adopt one. I finished with my breakfast and I get out of the house.

"Good morning mister Jarrus "
"Good morning Sherman "
Sherman was my batler. I was a trader. Cause of that job I am one of the richest mans on New York City.
"Can I help you with something?" Sherman asked.
"No thank you but I will take my car and I will drive on the city's orphanage. I am going to adopt a son"
"Very well ser"

Ezra p.o.v
I am trapped on this orphanage my whole life. Noone has ever adopt me cause of the director. His name in inquisitor. He is hiding me on a secret room and he don't let anyone to see me. I am in this room the three last year's and today I became five years old. I just hope to get out of here quick. The inquisitor has hit me and beat me and I have to eat days. I just wish to have someone to care about me. I just sat there, in the dark room and started to cry.

Kanan p.o.v

I get inside of the orphanage. The director came closer to me.
"How can I help ser? "
"I want to adopt a boy"
"Very very well. Go inside. We have a lot of wonderful children inside"
I opened the door and I saw many children who were playing. Some of them were looking at me and I just smiled. I looked at them. They were all so cute but I didn't want to adopt any of them. I just couldn't. I want a special kid and all this kids just weren't what I wanted. Then I heard someone cry. I follow the cries and I find a door. Time was loked saw I looked around for the key. I found a key and I tried to open the door. The door opened and what I saw surprised me. A kid was curled in a ball and he was crying. He didn't seemed to have notished me. I walked and I sat beside him. When I put an arm on his solder I made him jump a little. He turn around and looked at my eyes. I was lost when I looked into his eyes. They were electric blue. I notished that he has started to shake so I hugged him. He soon melted in my touch but he was so thin. Probably he hasn't eat for days. I think that I just find the boy who I will adopt.

"Hey little one what's your name? "
"E-Ezra" he answered me with a weak voice full of fear.
"Well Ezra. I am Kanan. Kanan Jarrus. I want to ask you a question"
"What is it?" he, asked pulling out of the hug.
"What would you say if I was going to adopt you? "
"Really?!"
"Yeah"
He the hugged me again but more tight.
"It sounds wonderful"
I just smiled and I hugged him back. Then I took his arm and helped him get up.
We went to the inquisitor's office and I knocked the door.
"I want to adopt this boy" I said.
The inquisitor looked at Ezra and his eyes were full of hate. That made Ezra to hide behind me. He looked at me and as much as he hated to he gave my the adoption's papers. Me and Ezra went to the car and started  to drive home.
