Kanan p.o.v

I was driving home. When I checked on Ezra. I saw he was asleep. I smiled. Hera would love him. I had a tear when I remembered her and I just continue to drive.

Time skip

I parked the car and I get out to take Ezra. I opened the car door and I gasped. Ezra was laying in a pool of blood. That's when I realized that he hasn't fall asleep. He has passed out cause of the blood loss. I quickly picked him up and I went him to my room. I lay him on the bed and wear out his clothes. I was terrified of what I saw. His all body was full of scars. Some of them are bleeding. What this kid has pass through. I thought. I quickly take some bandages and I wrapped his scars. When I finished I to look the blanket over him. I turned out the light and I went to sleep on Hera's old room.

In the morning
Ezra p.o.v

I didn't want to wake up. I knew that if I would wake up I would be again in that room with the inquisitor. But something was different. I was feeling like I was laying in something soft. I felt warm and safe. I opened my eyes and I found out that I was in a bed. A bed? The inquisitor would never let me sleep on a bed. Then I remembered that guy Kanan adopted me. I heared footsteps. I lay back again and I pretended to be asleep. Kanan came to my room and he put an arm on my shoulder and I looked at him.

"Good morning Son" he said.
"Good morning daddy"
