Devans POV:
I missed having Lauren around, we all do. I miss the times when we would watch movies in my bed, when we would attempt to bake and watch the outcome fail, but laugh anyway, i miss her quirky laugh and her positivity towards everything.  I set up my canvas and begin painting.

Lauren's POV:
I wake, alone, in a cold, almost empty hotel room. I'm making my way to my school today and i couldn't be more nervous. I haven't got the company of Collins, Devan or Shannon to help conquer my nerves. I'm alone. I rub my eyes and turn to the desk by my bed. I grab my phone and unlock it. I click messages and start to type a new message to Devan.

Lauren: hey Devan, I miss you all so much. School starts today and I'm so nervous. Wish you were with me :( love you loads xxxx
I press send. Then I watch my phone as the message goes from delivered to read. Then an ellipsis appears and I know he is typing a reply.

Devan: hey my favourite girl, it's been a while. I thought you had forgotten about me haha. Good luck! We all wish you the best. I wish I was there too, but remember I'll be there soon. ;) love you more xxxx

I smile and quickly type a reply.

Lauren: how could I ever forget about you?! Can't wait to see you again xxxx

Then I press send and get in the shower.

When i get out of the shower, i apply a little bit more makeup than i would usually, including foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, blusher, eye shadow and mascara. Then i brushed through my naturally straight hair and got dressed in my chosen outfit which consists of a black crop top, a white shirt, blue ripped jeans and my white converse.

i then grabbed my books that i needed for my classes and put them in my brown bag. then i left my room with my suitcase trailing behind me.

In the taxi i look at my phone and see that i have messages from Devan, Collins and Shannon. i unlock my phone and click on each message, one at a time. Starting with Collins, his message read, 'Good luck today Loz, you'll do great. love and miss you! C xxx' i smile down at my phone and type a reply. 'Thanks, C. i'm so nervous, i wish you were all here with me. love and miss you too, L xxx'. then i clicked off of his message and opened up Shannon's messages. she had wrote 'Hey, just wanted to wish you a great first day. Me and the boys will be over in a few weeks after you are settled, cant wait to see what the boys think of London. Love you and miss you. S xxxxx' this made tears appear in my eyes, but i managed to push them down before they excited my eyes. i responded with a message saying 'hey Shannon. Thanks, wish you were her with me like school used to be. me neither, there are lots of photo opportunities for us. sending my love, L xxxx

Then it was Devans message. i looked down and read his message. 'Good luck today my favorite girl! i know you'll be amazing. only 2 weeks until i see you!!! i cant wait. love you loads and loads, D xxxxxxxx.' i once again smile down at my phone, tears streaming from my face. i quickly wipe the tears away and look out the window to spy a building in the near distance, which must be my school. I put my phone in my pocket and watch the world pass by me out of the window.
