Ok so apparently my conscious was right and I should've listened to it.

Justin and Nearly Headless Nick were petrified. Everyone is really freaked out about Nearly Headless Nick, how can you petrify a ghost?!

It was like a Ryhorn stampede for seats for the Hogwarts Express, and trust me those Ryhorn in giant lacks are bad news.

"At this rate, we'll be the only ones left." Ron told us while we were eating, "Us,Malfoy,Crabbe,and Goyle. What a jolly holiday it'll be."

"I just can't wait for the presents." I said eagerly, stuffing my face with a sandwich. Ash nodded his head in agreement.

"Wake up Hermione." I sang song softly, shaking Hermione on the shoulder. She let off a soft groan, opened her eyes and gave me a soft smile.

"Happy Christmas Alice." She said, then sat up and stretched.

"Merry Christmas Hermione."

Hermione held up a finger, then gift a small wrapped present from her trunk.

I grabbed her present, when we exchanged presents we opened them excitingly. In my hands was a brand new dress, it was white, knee length, and had small lavender lacings around the hem.

Hermione gasped at my present, it was a a grass green shirt somewhat like a poncho. It flows down to the knees and has small side pockets.
She let out a small squeal,then gave me a giant hug.
"It's beautiful Alice."
"Just because I'm blind doesn't mean I can't do anything others can do."

We both stood up,grabbed the boy's presents,and bolted into their room. Ash was sleeping like a Snorlax in winter,Harry and Ron bolted away when we barged through the door.
"Wake up!!" Hermione said loudly,walking over to pull back the curtains.
"Your not supposed to be in here." Ron yawned,sitting up.
"Merry Christmas to you too." I scoffed,then tossed his present a little off angle so it hit Ash instead. Pikachu screamed,jumping off of Ash and into Ron,who fell back onto his bed.

"Wha!?Whos there!?" Ash shouted looking around until he noticed us.
Hermione threw Ron's,Harry's,and Ash's presents to them while she and I sat down on the floor.
"While Alice slept I went to add more Lacewings to the potion. It's ready."
Harry and Ash sat up,wide awake,
"Are you sure?" Harry asked.
"And it won't blow up in our faces?"
"Positive. And if we're going to do it I say we do it tonight."
Suddenly Hedwig swooped in with a package and landed on my head,Harry let off a chuckle as he took Hedwig.
"Hello,are you speaking to me again?" Hedwig nibbled Harry's ear affectionally,then he opened up the present.

"Are you kidding me?!" I gasped as he passed it over to me,it was a toothpick. Harry merely shrugged his shoulder and read the note to himself.
"Well it's a good thing I got you a present. Open it!! All of you!!"
All three boys started opening Hermione and my presents while we opened theirs.
For Ash I gave him a new hat,for Harry a new book about Quidditch,and for Ron a new set of robes for next year. He can't always have hand me downs.
Ron have me a new set of quills,Ash gave me a new sewing kit with more cloth,and Harry's present surprised me the most.
"A camera?" Ron asked." Why on earth does she need a camera for?! She won't be able to get a good shot!! No offense.."
In reassurement I held a hand up,"Non taken. now let's see..." My fingers swept through the camera as I 'tried' to find the flash button,I raised the camera up to face Ron,and took a picture. A small piece of paper came out,with a great picture.
Pleased I took it out and tossed it to Ron. "How is it?"
"Bloody Heck." Ron gasped.

"We'll need a bit of the people your changing into." Hermione said matter-of-factly ,"it's obvious that Harry and Ron will turn into Crabbe and Goyle. Ash you can turn into David Crest (just some guy I made up) they're Malfoy's best friends. He'll tell them anything.Also we've got to make sure that the real Crabbe and Goyle don't burst in on us while we're interrogating him ."

"What about you and Alice?" Harry asked" And what about Crest,he's off for the holidays."
"I've got it all covered." She took out two small muffins and a vile of hair,"I snatched Crest's hair the other day during the dueling club. And these are filled with a simple sleeping draught,simple,yet powerful. All you have to is make sure those two eat them and fall asleep. Then pull out a few of their hairs."

She ignored both Harry's and Ron's stupefied faces as they gaped at her."And what about your hair?" Ron asked,pointing to both of us.

Hermione pulled out yet another vial with hair in it,"I've already got mine. Millicent Bulstrode. Snatched this off her robes during the dueling club."
"Is everything in here involve the dueling club?" Ash asked in a weary tone,rubbing his head as if it aches.
Hermione shot a glare at Ash,then gave a look to me.
"C'mon Alice....they've got to Know sooner or later." She reasoned,now the boys stared at me. I hesitated,she was right.

I turned into Pansy Parkinson. Ash let out a scream,"WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY SISTER!??!" Pikachu screamed,by the looks of it almost started letting out electricity.
Ron was about to scream but I clasped a hand over his mouth as he inhaled.
"Hold on." I changed back into my true form,"Hermione can you explain?"
She nodded.

"Alice is an Animangus,someone who can transform into animals. But she can also transform into different humans too,something little people can do. Now we can use that as an advantage."

Ash poked my Cheeks,then my shoulder,"You feel like Alice." He Muttered. Chuckling I pushed his hand away and leaned against the bathroom wall." How long have you known about this? Both of you!" Harry demanded,glancing at both of us.
"The first night at the hospital." I spoke cooly.
"Last week."

They all stared at me as I stared at the ground,the silence was broken by Ron.
"Let's go and get those hairs."
He,Harry,and Ash left to get the hairs,Hermione started to pace around the room. Then her face lit up like a lightbulb,"I have an idea!!Let's go." She grabbed my hand and we left the bathroom.

In my arms were Slytherin robes for a all of us, Ash,Ron,Pikachu,and Harry all walked into the bathroom as Hermione poured the potion's contents into 4 vials.
"Did you get them?" Hermione asked,not looking up from the textbook she had in her hands.
Ron and Harry held up pieces of hair.
"Good,we think everything's okay."
"We also sneaked you some Slytherin clothes." I tossed the boy robes over to them. "You'll need bigger sizes once your Crabbe and Goyle. Crest is the same size as Ash so that shouldn't be a problem." Hermione pointed out.
"It looks like it says it should.."Hermione muttered,"Once we've drunk it we have exactly one hour to change back. Got it?"
We all nodded our heads.
"Now what?"
"We separate into four glasses,then add the hairs." Hermione took out one vial,dropped the hairs,then the potion gave a loud hiss and turned bright yellow. The smell made my nose scrunch up. "Bet that tastes disgusting..." Ron snorted.
"Then add yours." I retorted,watching as all three of them out their hairs into the vials,each turning a yucky color.
Hermione and Ron started to reach for the vials,but I stretched my hand out to stop them.

"Maybe you shouldn't all drink it in here,once you drink it Crabbe and Goyle won't fit. And Millicent Bulstrode and David Crest are no pixies." I said uneasy,they all nodded their heads and we all evacuated the bathroom. I stayed outside and listened.

"Ready?" Hermione asked.
"Ready." Ash,Ron,and Harry called out.
Pikachu gave me a worried side glance on my shoulder while Absol seemed uneasy.
"One-two-three."
There was silence, then the sound of clothes being stripped and put back on. Knowing they'd take a while I sat down and leaned against the wall.

The door unlocked and Goyle walked out,it was Harry. His glasses were still on.He must've realized it too because he fumble took them off with his giant hands. The door next to me unlocked,and out came Crabbe,Ron. The two looked at each other with stupid faces on.
"This is unbelievable." Ron said,examining himself in the mirror,"Unbelievable." At the exact same time a tall boy with straight dull blond hair,bright blue eyes,and a gap between his teeth walked out of the stall looking at himself. "Ash? Is that you?" Harry asked.

"I think so..." He said.

"You four better get going,we haven't got much time." Hermione's voice called.
"What about you Hermione?" I asked,standing up.
"Don't worry about me. Just go." Harry and Ron reluctantly left,Ash knelt down next to Pikachu and Absol.
"Stay here and keep Hermione company. We'll be back soon."

Ash stood up,and we both left the bathroom and went our separate ways.

Ash's P.O.V

This feels weird,being Crest.
"Don't swing your arms like that." Harry muttered to Ron,who was on my left.
"Huh?"
"Crabbe keeps them stiff, ya know?" I said,trying my best to walk like Crest.
" Like this?"
"You got it."

We walked down the marble steps,all we needed to do was get a Slytherin to tell us where the common room was and the password.
"Got any ideas? Harry asked.
"Let me check." I tilted my head and shook it as it to drain water."Yeah I got nothing."
"The Slytherins always come up for breakfast from there." Ron said,nodding towards one of the dungeons,I gave off a shiver.
Just as he finished his sentence a girl with long curly black hair came out of the room. "Excuse me,"I said,she stopped,"We've forgotten where our common room is."

"I beg your pardon,"She said stiffly,"Our common room? I'm a Ravenclaw." She brushed past my shoulder and walked away,looking back at me suspiciously. Busted....

In denial we kept moving,it wasn't until about ten more minutes until we saw a Slytherin in front of us. "What're you doing down here?" Ron asked in surprised,I kicked him in the shins. Percy Weasley was in front of us,thankfully he didn't notice my reaction.
"That"Percy started stiffly,"is none of your business. Crabbe isn't it?"
Ron reluctantly nodded his head,"well off to your dormitories, it's not safe to go wandering around at these dark hours."
"You are." I slipped,then mentally covered a hand over my mouth.
"I am a prefect,nothing's going to attack me."

Don't count on it....

A sound came from behind,we all looked back and saw Malfoy emerge from the halls. For the first time ever( and I regret saying it) I'm glad Malfoy is here.
"There you are. I've been looking for you-Crest?! What are you doing here??"
"I decided to stay." I spoke in my best impression of Crest.
"Oh well then come on,I want to show you all something funny."

He gave a cold glance towards Percy.

"What're you doing down here Weasley?" He sneered.
"Mind your additive Malfoy. I'm a prefect."
Malfoy scoffed,"Whatever,c'mon." We all followed Malfoy down the halls,I felt Percy's eyes on the back of my head until we left his sight.
"First things first you three."Draco said in a laugh."off to find Ketchum."

I froze,Ketchum? Which one? Me or Alice?!

"Which one?" Ron asked,picking up pace.

"I told you Crabbe,Alice!!" Draco said in a matter-of-factly way,we passed the great hall. There she was,Alice was sitting on one of the tables playing with her new camera. Draco nudged Harry,whispered something into his ear,and pushed him into the room. Harry looked back at me apologetically then walked to Alice.

Alice's P.O.V

C'mon camera,give-me-back-my-photo. I tried to get one of the photos to come out but it was stuck. Then I tried using one of the knives ,sure enough it worked,as soon as I set down the knife something grabbed me and slung me over their shoulder. SERIOUSLY!?

"Draco if this is you-"
"It's Harry, sorry..."Harry muttered as he walked out of the hall.
"No problem." I whispered,I could tell we were all heading down the dungeons. The air seemed colder as we walked..
"What's the new password Crest?" Draco asked.
"Er."
"Oh yeah!! Pure-Blood."
The sound of something opening came, then Harry walked into something very similar to an actual dungeon. "Set her down in the couch and take her wand,wait here." Draco instructed,I was sat down on one of the dusty chairs in front of a crackling fireplace. Ron and Harry sat on the couch in front of me as Ash stood behind the couch since there wasn't much room.Ash took my wand from my pocket but out it in his own inscreetly. Draco came back with a subscription of the Daily Prophet,where Ash,Harry,and Ron took turns reading.

With my arms crossed I sat there trying to glare at Malfoy."Where am I?!why am I here?! Am I allowed here?!"
"Because Ketchum,you are more likely to give out information. Mainly because if you don't I can drop you off anywhere and you won't know where you are." He smirked,then his face turned serious as he took a piece of my robes.

"Are those Slytherin robes!?" He asked.
Okay don't panic....
"They are? Mione gave these to me the other day....probably just an accident."
He merely shrugged his shoulders and looked back at the boys.
"Well? Don't you think it's funny?!"
"Ha ha." Harry said bleakly. Wonder what they were reading...
"That Arthur Weasley love smuggles so much he could break his wand and go live with them. If you'd take one look at their family you'd never know they were Pure Bloods. Right Ketchum?"he cast a glance my direction.

Shooting daggers at Malfoy I merely crossed my arms and glared at him. He smirked then noticed Ron's 'face of fury!'.
"What's up with you?"
"Stomachache." Ron grunted.
"Well go up to the hospital wing and give all those Mudbloods a kick for me."

"Honestly if you were any more rude you'd be caring!!" I shouted,about to stand up but Malfoy's pushed me back down.
"You know I'm surprised the daily Prophet hasn't reported any of these attacks yet. I suppose Dumbledore's trying to hush it all up so he can't get sacked. Father always said Dumbledore's the worst thing to have ever happened to this school."

"Shut your mouth Malfoy." I sneered. Malfoy let out a laugh,"Make me."

"He loves muggle borns, a decent headmaster would've never let a slime like that Creevy in."

Without warning he snatched my camera from around my neck,pushed me down as I tried to get it back,and started taking a bunch of pictures.
" ' Potter,can I have your picture Potter? Can I have your autograph Potter? Can I lick your shoes,please,Potter?' "

"Give it back!!" I shouted,jumping to try to get it. Why am I cursed with this shortness ,especially since Draco held it up high. Finally with a stubborn look on his face crossed the line,I kicked him hard in the shin,he dropped the camera that landed safely on my hands and clutched his shin. Once again proud I sat down and took the Photo's that came out of the camera.

Ash out on a quick smile but took it back when Malfoy's stood straight and dusted himself off.

"What's the matter with you three?" He asked the boys,who stared at him then at me wide eyed.
Harry and Ron let out forced laughs,Ash let out a forced smile,but it was obvious he was smiling for real.
"Saint Potter,Mudbloods' friend,"Malfoy said slowly,"He's another one with no proper wizard feelings,otherwise he wouldn't go around with that jumped-up Granger mudblood. And people think he's Slytherin's Heir!!"

"So are you Slytherin's Heir?" I asked stiffly,not daring to stand up. Malfoy'd just push me back down.
"No..."he snapped,"But I wish I knew who it was so I could help them."
My mouth dropped,Ron's did too.

"Surely you must have some idea who it is?" Ash asked.
"I told you a million times I haven't,"Malfoy snapped,"Father refuses to tell me who opened the Chamber last time either. Of course it was fifty years ago; way past his time. Though he still knows all about it,and he says it was kept all quiet and it'll look suspicious if I know too much about it. But I know one thing- last time the Chamber of Secrets has been opened,a mudblood died,I bet it's a matter of time before one of them' skilled this time...and I hope it's Granger."

OH.HE.DID.NOT.

With adrenaline pumping my veins I shot up and lunged at Malfoy,but HE pushed me down yet again.
"Will you quit that!?!"
"Is Potter the Heir of Slytherin?!"
"No!!"
"D'you know of the person who opened the Chamber was caught?" Harry asked after shooting a glance at both me and Ron.
"Oh,yeah....they were expelled. Probably still in Azkaban."
"Azkaban?" Ash and I repeated.
"Azkaban- the wizard prison. Honestly if you two were any slower you'd be walking backwards." Malfoy said as if it were obvious.
Maybe Hermione knows about this 'wizard prison',she knows everything.
Malfoy's glares made me shift in my seat uncomfortably,"Father said to keep my head down and let the Heir of Slytherin get on with it. He says the school needs ridding of Mudblood filth,not mix with it. Of course he's got a lot on his plate at the moment. You know the Ministry if Magic raided our manor last week?"

While I snorted Harry and Ash tried to put in a concerned face,but failed miserably.The Ministry of Magic was probably trying to see if the Malfoy's were up to this no good mess.

"Yeah...."Malfoy started,staring daggers at me,"Lucky they didn't find much. Father's got some very valuable Dark Arts stuff..."

I zoned out and saw Ron's hair turning red,Ash's hair was turning its regular shade of black and was getting spiky. Now that I think about it Ash's hair is naturally spiky...weird...

"Ho!!" Ron gasped,Harry's form was changing,his scar was reappearing. Simultaneously all three boys stood up,Ron grunting 'Medicine' and started running to the door. Without hesitation I stood up,waved at Draco,"Well see ya!!" Then ran behind them.

"Well that was a complete waste of time!!" Ron started ranting once we got into the bathroom,"All this potion making for months and we could've just let Malfoy kidnap Alice in a day!! I'm gonna write to dad and tell him to check under Malfoy's drawing room!!"

"He's actually done it twice." I said,leaning against the wall. Ash froze and turned to me,

"He did?Why didn't you tell me?What did you do?"
"Relax,he trapped me in a corner,I heard that voice,he wouldn't let me go. But I...uh...kicked him in the nuts to get out." I felt my face glow red.
Harry knocked on Hermione's door. "C'mon out Hermione we got loads to tell you!"
"Go away!!" Hermione squeaked,we all glanced at each other. What happened?
"C'mon Mione,You must've changed back by now. These three did." I chucked a finger towards Ash,who was hugging Pikachu.
Moaning Myrtle glided out of the door and Infront of my face."ooh wait till you see it! It's awful."

The lock slid,then the door opened. She had her robes up high as she tried to hide her face.
"What's up,you still got Millicent Bulstrode's nose or something?" Ron asked.
Hermione let her robes fall. I nearly fainted. Ash did.

"It was c-cat hair!" She howled ,"M-Millicent Bulstrode m-must have a cat! And the p-potion isn't supposed to be used for animal transformations!"
"Uh-oh." Ron muttered.
With a little pity I stepped over Ash's unconscious body( Pikachu was trying to rub Ash awake) and over to Hermione.
"Let's go to the Hospital Wing. Let's just hope Madame Pomfrey doesn't ask too much questions."
