Nine Months Later

Sage P.O.V

Rhose and I shared the couch as we watched tv. We did exactly nothing but watch tv and eat nothing but gummy bears, Ice cream, and hot chips on Sundays. He was laying with his torso leaning on the side of the couch I was using his stomach as a pillow.

Rhose: "Sage can I ask you something?"

Sage: "Sure. What's on your mind?"

I asked as I turned down the volume on the tv and ate some gummy bears

Rhose: "Why didn't you accept the ring from Ash?"

Sage: "How'd you know about that? And why ask about it now?"

Rhose: "I followed you and it's been on my mind recently."

Sage: "I see. Well I can't be mad. If you weren't there, I don't know what would have happened."

Rhose: "I guess so."

Sage: "I didn't accept because in that one moment I realized something big and extremely important."

Rhose: "What was that?"

Sage: "I didn't love him as I once did. I had fallen in love with someone else."

Rhose's eyebrows creased as Sage looked at him and smiled. She placed her hand on his cheek and stared intensely into his amethyst colored eyes.

Rhode P.O.V

I closed my eyes as I pushed my head into her hand enjoying the warmth of her hand. Her touch gave me so much comfort. I reopened them and stared into her midnight blue eyes. I would simply get lost in her eyes.

Sage: "Rhose. It's you. You're the man I've fallen in love with."

Rhose: "I am?"

Sage: "Yes. You stole my heart."

Rhode: "How long has it been since you started feeling this way?"

Sage: "Since the moment I first brought you into my house."

I was left speechless. It was all I ever wanted from Sage. For her to love me the way I love her. Now I was finally able to accept it.

Rhose: "Sage do you mean that?"

Sage: "With all my heart and soul."

I placed my hand on the side of her face as I used my other to lift her up and pull her close.

Sage P.O.V

Rhose pulled me close to him. Our breaths mingled together as we were inches away from an epic moment. I pulled him down a bit as we both closed the gap in between and met each other with a kiss. It was sweet and so full of passion, that it felt greater than any happy moment in the world. We pulled away slowly and atared into each other's eyes.

Rhose: "You don't know how long I've waited to hear those words come from your lips."

Sage: "Really?"

Rhose: "Really, really."

I smiled as he looked down at me. I hugged him as tightly as i could. He hugged me back even tighter. I didn't know why, but i began to cry. Rhose pulled away and looked down at me.

Rhose: "Sage? What's the matter!? Was it something I did!? Why are you crying!?"

I looked up at him and smiled.

Sage: "No, no. It's not that. You didn't do anything. Nothing is wrong. It's just that I've waited so long for this and now that I have you by my side, I can't help, but cry."

Rhose: "I don't understand."

I chuckled as he still didn't know why I was crying. He really hasn't had any lessons on how girl's feel and live these days.

Sage: "I'm crying because I'm happy."

Rhose smiled as he leaned down and kissed me once more. At last Rhose and I were together.
