Sage P.O.V

What do I say. Should I say yes? It feels.........wrong. My mind is on something else.

Rhose P.O.V

She hasn't answered. Was she having second thoughts? Was there a chance she might actually say no? Ahhhhhh!!! All this is killing me.

Claude: "Rhose. Calm down. Your not thinking straight."

Rhose: "I don't know what to think."

Claude: "I can see that."

We looked back over to the two and kept watching.

General Narration

Sage took a deep breath and let it out.

Ash: "Sage. Are you gonna give me an answer?"

Sage clossed her eyes and shook her head.

Sage P.O.V

I had made up my mind. I knew why it didn't feel right. It was because I loved another. I shook my head.

Sage: "I'm sorry Ash, but I can't marry you."

Ash: "Why? Is something wrong?"

Sage: "It's not you. It's me."

Ash: "Why do you say such things? What could you have done?"

Sage: "I feel in love with someone else. I'm sorry."

I turned and walked away. I felt bad, but u knew bit to marry someone I didn't love anymore. Rhose. My dearest Rhose. I suddenly felt Ash grab my wrist.

Ash: "You can't do this Sage."

Sage: "I'm sorry Ash."

Ash: "It's him isnt it? Colored eyed boy. He's the one you feel in love with, isnt it? What does he have that I dont!?"

I knew he was getting angry. His hold on my wrist was tightening.

Sage: "Ash, stop. Let me go. You're hurting me."

His expression didn't change. His eyebrows creaced as his grip tightened. I felt an urge in my body. I got angry.

General Narration

Sage's eyes turned from midnight blue to garnet. She side kicked him in the gut as he hunched over. She saw the chance and took it. Pulling her hand from his hold, she ran off. It wasn't long before Ash was on his feet and ran after her. Rhose and Claude watched as he did so.

Rhose: "She's in trouble."

Claude: "We gotta go. Sage doesn't know how to control her power yet. On top of that it's getting dark."

Rhose nodded as they hopped down from the tree and ran after Sage and Ash. By the time they actually caught up to them it was already nightfall. Sage had ran a great distance. She ran through a forested area and was stopped by a cliff side.

Sage: "Oh no a dead end."

???: "Sage!"

Sage turned around to see Ash. He stood tall as he stared dead straight at Sage.

Sage: "Stay. Away. From. Me."

She said in a demanding, yet shaky voice.

Ash: "Sorry Sage, but you will be my mate."

Sage: "No I'm not.

Ash chuckled as he body began to transform. By the time, Rhose and Claude had caught up to them. Rose could see perfectly as could Claude.

Claude: "Rhose?"

Rhose: "I see him."

Claude: "We can't handle this. This is a matter of the masters."

Rhose: "Well we cant just do nothing."

Claude: "Rhose."

Rhose: "Claude that's enough!"

With that Claude was silenced as Ash had revealed his true form at last.

Sage P.O.V

I saw as Ash grew about five feet taller than what he usually was. His eyes changed to a gold color, he grew claws, a snout, fur, and fangs. I couldn't believe it. My boyfriend is a werewolf. Why does that surprise me? I have a friend who is a demon and is heir to the throne.

Ash: "This is what happens to those who don't give me what I want. They die."

Ash lunged at me, but I moved out of the way before his fist landed on the rock and was split into pieces. He was so strong all I could do is run. I know better than not to mess with a werewolf. I felt completely helpless even though I knew I couldnt do anything. Suddenly, I felt a surge of power course through my body. That only meant one thing. I looked back to see Ash lunge at me once more before he was pulled from behind and swung around. I saw a form with long hair, wings, and claws. I had seen this form before.

Sage: "Rhose."

Rhose turned to face me and helped me to my feet. He held me close as he looked back at Ash who was just getting up.

Ash: "Who do you think you are getting in the way of my fun!?"

He said with poison in his words.

Rhose: "Who do you think you are, attacking a woman?"

Ash chuckled.

Ash: "Well, well, well. If it isn't colored eyed boy. Who knew a whimp like you were a demon."

Claude came out of the shadows and hissed. Automatically I knew it was Claude, because Claude doesn't let Rhose go anywhere by himself. I looked over to him and saw that he too was in his demon form, which consisted as a pair of horns on his head, claws, icy blue eyes, and fangs that went passed his chin. Like a sabertooth tiger.

Claude: "Who are callimg a whimp, small fry? That's Kimg Rhose to you. Shall I handle him King Rhose?"

In the background I could hear a whine from Ash as soon realized who he was facing.

Ash: "King Rhose!?"

He said in a whisper.

Rhose: "No leave him to me."

Ash: "You are King Rhose. Please forgive me. I'll do anything. Just please don't hurt me."

Rhose: "It is pointless to beg for mercy once the damage has been done."

Rhose P.O.V

I began walking foward to end it with this guy, but was suddenly held back. I looked to see Sage was pulling on what had been left of my sleeve from the shirt I had, which had been ripped due to my transformation.

Rhose: "Sage?"

Sage looked up at me with sincerity in her eyes. That expression would always kill me on the inside.

Sage: "Let him go. He's not worth the fight."

Rhose: "Why the sudden change of heart."

Sage: "Because.......I....... Wouldn't want the...........man...I.......love to get into trouble."

I couldn't believe my ears. Had she really said that? Those words. They touched my heart and warmed it up. I looked at her as I reverted back to my haman form. I smiled at her as she smiled back. I put my arm arond her shoulder and looked back at Ash.

Rhose: "You are lucky she was here to stop me. You owe her your life. Now go and never show your face again."

Ash nodded and ran off in fear.

Claude: "I'd say that wasn't fun at all."

Sage chuckled at his comment.

Sage: "What were actually looking forward to rip Ash apart?"

Claude was silent for a moment then shrugged.

Claude: "Yes."

Sage: "Well then thats why we have the masters."

Claude: "King Rhose?"

I faced him.

Rhose: "Hm?"

Claude: "We'll have to this up with them afterwards. He was a member their clan after all."

I had forgotten about that part. I sighed and grumbled.

Rhose: "I know that, but for now let's go home."

Sage: "That sounds like a great idea."
