Sage P.O.V

I had been assigned to look over the man who lay in the guest room. He looked at peace. It made me smile. No one should ever fight, or be angry. It was unnecessary. I heard a knock at the door.

Sage: "Its open."

My older brother, Max came in and closed the door behind him.

Max: "Hey. You OK?"

Sage: "Max. I thought you were asleep."

Max: "No. I wasn't. I heard everything. I just came up to check on you."

Sage: "Yeah I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"

Max: "Come on Sage. What's wrong, something's up."

Sage: "I'm just tired is all."

I had to lie. The one thing I truly despise.

Max: "Are you sure?"

I nodded and faked yawn.

Max: "Well alright. Its getting late. You should get some rest."

Sage: "OK I will. Thanks for checking up on me."

Max: "No problem, little sis."

He ruffled up my long black hair with a smile.

Sage: "Max!"

Max: "What? Sage no matter what happens. You'll always be my little sister."

I shook my head with a smile.

Sage: "Yeah, yeah."

Max: "Goodnight Sage."

Sage: "Goodnight Max."

Max left and all I could think about now was that mark on my shoulder. What did it mean?

Claude P.O.V

I ran through the streets of the Demon World trying to lose Alucard's troops as they chased me. They were fast........but I, of course, was faster.

Claude: "You can't beat a master, young ones."

Trooper: "Shut up old man!"

Claude chuckled.

Claude: "Old man? I don't look a day over 20. Stop playing with the grown ups. You'll get yourselves hurt."

I mocked them as I looked for an opening portal. Here in the Demon World, portals open randomly every few seconds. I had to find one and quick. Finally one opened.

Claude: "Well it was fun playing with you kids, but this " old mans" must hurry. Good day. "

I jumped into the portal just as it was about to close. I made it. Now to find my King. I just hope nothing terrible has happened to him

Next Day

Sage P.O.V

I woke up to the stinging sensation of the mark on my shoulder. It was glowing a bright pinkish-purple color. What was happening? I got out of bed and ran to the guest room. I was on my way, but suddenly bumped into something or someone. I rubbed my head as I landed on my behind. Who the hell? I looked up to see a form. A guy? I couldn't really see him well, due to the sunlight coming in from the window that was behind him.
