Sage P.O.V

Alucard apperead behind me before I knew what was happening. I felt his warm breath on my neck. It sent unpleasant shivers down my spine. His wet tounge feeling and taking in the taste of my neck. I was panicking.

Sage: "Rhose!"

Rhose: "Sage!"

I tightly closed my eyes as I began to breath heavily. I couldn't fight back. I was too weak and he was holding my wrists. I felt a sharp pain go throughout my entire body. I knew nothing else.

General Narration

Rhose eyes grew wide as Alucard bit into Sage's neck.

Rhose: "SAGE!"

Alucard removed his fangs and smiled as he let his venom flow through her veins.

Alucard: "Retreat!"

He said as he disappeared. Right before Sage hit the floor, Rhose caught her in his arms and held her close. Rhonin and the troopers then disappeared as well. The masters and Claude and Mary who was helped by Mikogami, ran to Rhose's side.

Sarutobi: "Sage! No!"

Mary: "Sage!"

Mary went over to Sage as Rhose held her. The venom began to course as her body jerked from the pain.

Rhose P.O.V

The venom was beginning to take affect what do I do?

Mikogami: "Rhose!"

Rhose: "What!?"

Mikogami: "You have to, take the venom."

Rhose: "That would include taking her blood. I've vowed to never take the blood of a human."

Tohofuhai came over and knelt down in front of me.

Tohofuhai: "Rhose, I understand, but she needs you to do it."

Rhose: "I won't be able to stop myself. I've never tried human blood. If I do this I might end up killing her."

Tohofuhai: "Rhose, she's in pain. You have to do it. Save her."

I had to make a quick decision. If I did this it would leave a consequence. I didn't want Sage to carry that burden. I looked at Mary and saw pleading eyes filled with tears. I looked at Sage and saw the exact same thing. Her pleading eyes.

Rhose: "I'm so sorry, Sage."

I looked at her and held her forcibly as she remained still for a short while. Her eyes spilled tears as she remains still, knowing what I had to do.

Rhose: "I'm gonna make the pain go away. I'll make it go away. "

Her exhaling breath seemed to tell me it was ok. I let my fangs grow as I bit down into the spot Alucard had buried his fangs. I began to clean her body of the venom. All this time I was regretting what I was doing, but I did it to save her.

General Narration

Sage eyes slowly closed as Rhose extracted the venom from Sage's veins. Mary cried lightly in Mikogami's arms as he reverted to his human form. Claude placed a shoulder on Rhose's shoulder, noticing the sorrow in his eyes as he did this. Sarutobi looked away as Tohofuhai narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth. Rhose removed his fangs and wiped her blood of the corner of his lip.

Tohofuhai: "You were able to stop. Its gonna be OK."

Rhose: "I've done all I can. Alucard's venom is something different. I know I've certainly haven't moved it all from her, but if I continue, I'll be the one to kill her. I don't want that."

Rhose hung his head, only to have it raised up by Mary. She looked at him with teary eyes and a sad smile.

Mary: "You have your mother's heart. Thank you Rhose. I deeply appreciate it."

Rhose nodded as he once again looked down at Sage.

Sage P.O.V

Where am I? It looks like a desert, but different. Am I dead? Last thing I remember is I was bitten by Alucard and then.........Rhose.

???: "Hello Sage."

A kind, soothing, and sweet voice Who was calling me? I looked around. I saw two forms

???: "Hello Sage."

A man said it this time. Why do their form look familiar? A women and a man. Don't tell me I'm in limbo. Well don't I feel like a movie star in the middle of death and life. I could finally see them.

???: "You've grown."

Said the woman. She had black long hair, her eyes were that of a garnet stone. She wore a red strapless dress laced in black streamers. The man had neck length red hair, diamond amethyst eyes and wore a black suit with a white shirt and red tie.

Sage: "Who are you?"

???: "We watched over you for a year when you were a baby."

The woman said as she folded her hands and rested them over her torso. Come to think of it. Her form was familiar, that of when I was a baby. How could I remember?

???: "Your mother, Lady Linares, our master entrusted you with us and my two sons. You know one of them."

The man said as he placed his hands behind his back.

Sage: "Who?"

???: "Rhose and Alucard. We're their parents. I'm Moorna and this is my husband, Infernous."

The woman told me. Rhose's mom and dad. I could see where they got their looks.

Infernous: "We have been watching Rhose and Alucard for a while. Now we meet you once again."

Moorna: "You've grown into such an elegant, beauty. I see why Rhose admires you."

Wait, what?"

Sage: "Rhose, what now?"

Infernous: "Dear, your tounge has slipped."

Infernous closed his eyes and smiled as he said that. Moorna placed her hand over her lips as she gasped.

Moorna: "My, it seems it has dear. Oops. Dearie, Rhose admires you."

Sage: "How, we've just met?"

Infernous: "True, but Rhose has a gift. He may have known someone for minutes and already knows their fears, pet peeves, likes, all that."

Sage: "That's kinda creepy."

Moorna: "It is. Rhose see's the kind of person you are. He has seen and felt what you've done, when you were fighting Alucard. You're a strong girl."

I could feel myself blush. I was being complimented by Rhose's mother. The Demon Queen. She sure is nice.

Infernous: "Sage dear, your life is in danger. Because you used The Nigram Clavem too much, your body has been affected. Alucard's bite doesn't make it any better. Rhose has removed some of the venom, but some of it still remains."

That much, I knew. If I die now, I'll be happy. I'll die knowing that I helped Rhose.
Moorna: "When you awake, be prepared, thus your life will definitely change. Alucard has no control of his venom's action."

I was beginning to worry now. If I wake up, will I still be human?

Infernous: "It is possible, the venom had no effect and you're still human, but that's a rare chance. You could just as easily be a demon."

That confirmed my worries. Just great.

Sage: "So what do I do?"

Moorna: "You must wake up to find out. All in time."

Infernous: "Sage dearie, I'm afraid our time together has come to an end, but we will visit you if you continue in this state."

Sage: "Thank you."

Moorna: "Of course. Tell Rhose I said hello and that I love him."

Sage: "Of course."

They dissapeared as I was left in complete darkness. Well I guess I just have to wait a bit. Sorry, Rhose. You're gonna have to wait for me for a while.
