4 Days Later

General Narration

Rhose sat in Sage's room not leaving her side as he watched over her. He had not slept or ate in the time since the night they had returned to human world. Everyone had tried to get him to eat, but it was futile. He didn't even listen to Claude.

Claude P.O.V

I've never seen, Rhose in this state. He truly believes he has failed Sage. I would have to take things into my own hands if I was to make him listen. The masters had arrived with Max and Kat, from training.

Mikogami: "Good afternoon Mary, Baldo."

Mary: "Afternoon."

Max: "Mom, how is Sage?"

Mary: "We haven't seen any difference."

Kat: "When will she wake up?"

Baldo: "We don't know sweetie."

Mary responded as Kat sat in her lap. Baldo gave Max a plate of rice and chicken his mother had made.

Kat: "Mommy, where's Rhose?"

Claude: "He hasn't come out of Sage's room."

Kat: "How long has he been in there?"

Baldo: "Four days."

Kat bit her bottom lip and thought.

Kat: "Daddy, can you give me a platebabd serve me please."

Baldo: "Sure."

Baldo gave Kat the plate as she got of Mary's lap and headed to Sage's room. She went inside and looked at Sage who was still asleep. She looked over at Rhose who sat there in the chair, looking at Sage's still form. She walked over to the table and placed the plate on it. She looked back at Rhose and waved her hand in front of his eyes. He didn't even blink.

Kat P.O.V

I looked deep into his eyes and saw that they were dull. He had bags under his eyes. Never had I seen such sad eyes. It broke my heart.

Kat: "Rhose?"

He didn't answer. That's when I began to worry. I placed my hands on his shoulders and shook him.

Kat: "Rhose!"

He still didn't budge. I pouted and did what I had to do. I did a simple round kick to his face, knocking him out of the chair. He finally snapped out of it as he held his jaw. I placed my hands on my hips as he looked up at me.

Rhose: "Kat?"

Kat: "Rhose. When's the last time you slept?"

Rhose: "L-last night. Why?"

I raised my eyebrow as I crossed my arms over my chest, leaning to the side.

Kat: "You're a bad liar, you know that."

Rhose: "What do you mean?"

Kat: "Do you not see the bags under your eyes? Now I want you to eat and go get some sleep. Everyone is worrying about you."

Rhose: "I'm fine."

Kat: "No you're not. Don't try to argue with me."

Rhose: "But--"

Kat: "Ah, ah, ah. Rhose, how many fingers am I holding up?"

I held up four fingers to test him.

Rhose: "Six?"

Kat: "Okay, one, I don't have six fingers on on hand. Two, I was holding four fingers. Now go."

Rhose: "Kat. I swear to you I'm alright."

That's it.

Kat: "Claude!"

Claude P.O.V

It appears I was found out. I was standing outside Sage's door, to see what Kat would do. Well that didn't work, so now it my turn. I went inside as Claude looked back at me.

Claude: "We are worried about you. Its time you make an appearance."

Rhose: "Leave Claude."

Claude: "I won't."

Rhose: "That's an order."

Claude: "One I cannot follow."

General Narration

Rhose stood up and looked at Claude as his eyes had turned red and grew his fangs. Claude did the same as his gold eyes, turned icy blue. He hissed back as Rhose growled.

Claude: "Please, do as your told for now."

Rhose: "I'm not leaving her side. This is my fault. She wouldn't be like this if it wasn't for me."

Kat P.O.V

Claude didn't say anything as a black and cold aura began to emenate from his body. It was like Claude's second body, because it grabbed Rhose from the wrist, ankles, and abdomen. Other part of the aura went all over his body and entered his left eye. What the hell was

Rhose P.O.V

I was plunged into darkness as, Claude's demon aura. A light brightened up the place I was in. It was my family's panic room. I was in a cage. In front of me stood......me? With a knife?

Rhose: "Don't, hey! That's dangerous."

The clone me, looked at me with a pained look. He lowered the knife and in front of him

Clone: "This is your fault. You kill all. Couldn't even protect a mere human girl. You're pathetic."

Sage: "Rhose, you hurt me."

Rhose: "No! Sage I tried to save you. I was too late. Sage please, forgive me!"

Sage: "What you've done, has no forgiveness. You'll live with the burden of letting me die."

My clone raised the knife.

Rhose: "No!"

He brought it down onto Sage's heart.

Sage: "I'll never forgive you, Rhose."

We're her last words, before falling to the ground lifeless. I was plunged into darkness.

Claude P.O.V

Forgive me King Rhose, but it is the only way to wake you up.

Rhose: *Claude!*

Well it appears he's speaking to me through my mind. That's my method.

Rhose: *Damn demon! Release me at once!*

There we go. That's exactly the tone I wanted to hear. That's the Rhose I know. I pulled back my power and released him, bringing him back to the real word.

Rhose: "What the hell were you attempting to do, eat my soul?"

Claude: "No my lord. I was only 90% serious."

He gritted his teeth and sat back into the chair. Kat placed her hands on her hips and stared at Rhose. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow. Kat pointed to the plate of food in front of here.

Kat: "Now, If you're willing to listen, I want you to eat and take a shower, you stink."

Rhose sighed as he hung his head.

Rhose: "Fine."

As he said this, Kat handed him the plate and he ate. He finished quickly and have the plate back to her.

Kat: "Here."

She gave him a stack of folded clothes as he went into the shower.

Kat: "Thank you Claude."

Claude: "Anytime."
