Claude's Escape
General Narration
Sage's home
???: "Oh my. Baldo what happened?"
Baldo was Sage's father's name.
Baldo: "Don't worry Mary. He's just beaten up a bit. Hell be fine. Is the room ready?"
Mary: "Yes. This way."
Mary led Baldo to the guest room she has prepared. Baldo and Sage placed Rhose on the bed and began to treat him. Baldo was a doctor, so he pretty much knew what he was doing.
Sage: "Is he going to be alright?"
Baldo chuckled and smiled at his daughter.
Baldo: "He'll be just fine."
Sage: "Thank god."
Mary: "Sage come on. Get something to eat and get some rest."
Sage: "Yes ma'am."
Sage went to the kitchen as her mother served her a hot plate of freshly made grilled chicken, macaroni, and broccoli. Sage smiled.
Sage: "Once again mom you're cooking is the best."
Mary: "Thank you my dear."
Her mother turned to do the dishes as Sage sighed. She finished up her dinner and placed the plate in the sink. She then kissed her mother's check and went to her room.

I closed the door to my room behind me as I flopped on my bed. I felt a sting in my shoulder. I removed my shirt and saw it. My eyes widened with horror. That man had burnt me. But how? He didn't anything he could of caused the burn mark with him. So how? I shook it off and headed for the bathroom to take a shower.

Alucard brought down a whip upon a form's back. It was Claude. His black suit torn, scars on his backside. He cried in low pain as Alucard continued.
Alucard: "This is your last chance, Claude. Serve me and I shall spare you."
Claude: "I serve only King Rhose and no one else. I'd rather die then to serve the likes of you, Alucard."
Alucard smiled evily.
Alucard: "So be it."
Alucard once again brought down the whip on Claude's back, arms, shoulders, and face, until his body went limp. He checked for a pulse. There was nothing. Alucard merely smiled.
Alucard: "Poor Claude. If you had chosen wisely, I would have spared you."
Alucard hung up the whip and left the dungeon cells, leaving Claude's lifeless form. Or so he thought.
Claude: "Poor you Alucard. Your a fool if you think you can beat your own teacher that way. You left my teachings early so you never knew the playing possum technique. It allows you to stop your heart for a short while. I pitty you."
Claude's deep golden eyes turned into a bright aquamarine color. He had no expression. He rose to his feet and easily broke free, with one swing of his arm. His wounds healed as he bolted out the dungeon walls and into the Demon World.
Claude: "I must find King Rhose."
