I woke up to Garroth's light snoring. I giggled a little and lightly placed my lips on his. He groggily stretched out and turned over on his side to face me. "Good morning beautiful." He kissed me and looked down realizing we were still naked. He smiled, "Round 2?" I laughed and rolled over and swung my legs over the side of the bed. He sighed, "Fine maybe next time." I laughed again.
"Garroth, we have duties to attend to, maybe tonight." I looked over my shoulder as I slipped his oversized t-shirt on. He perked up on that and looked outside.
"Dang it's still light out."
"Garroth..." I rolled my eyes. He followed my movements and sat next to me, putting pants on and swinging his legs over the edge of the bed.
I looked up at him, he made me so happy. He was who I needed all along. I smiled and our eyes locked, making everything drop away. We slowly leaned into each other and his hands cupped my cheeks and lightly placed a kiss on my lips. Then when he backed away he stayed and leaned his forehead on mine. Our love was something I cherished, it was so special. I wish I could lay here all day in his arms, but I couldn't.
The door swings open and in walks Aphmau. "Hey- Oh uh." her face turns red and she starts fiddling with her hands.
"Sorry we just woke up." I said, getting up and getting my clothes. "Can you give us a minute to get ready?" She nodded and stepped out.
"Nice cover." Garroth came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. I reached around and kissed him again. I couldn't get enough.
We both finished up getting clothed and found Aph outside. "So uh, sorry for interrupting but I'm glad you're up Anna, we have a problem."
"What is it?" I said. She looked down. She took a deep breath in and looked up.
"Just...follow me." Aphmau swallowed hard and led us down a trail to her house. I could hear her mumbling to herself. What was she hiding? What had happened?
When we arrived to her house, she pushed open the doors to hold all of our inner circle smiling brightly at us with ingredients for breakfast on the table. "What is this?" I smiled, confused.
"You guys have worked so hard lately, so we threw together a party and in 3 days we'll have a makeshift ball/dance to celebrate everyone."
"Aw-Aph!" I ran up to her and hugged her. She immediately hugged back and sighed.
"Now let's dig in and start planning this dance!" Katelyn chimed in.
Sitting around the table, we all started to pitch in ideas as Garroth finished preparing breakfast.
"And what if we found a string quartet?!" Kawaii~Chan chimed in.
"Yeah! But there aren't any around here I thought?" Katelyn added while Garroth sat down next to me, setting the pancakes on the table.
As everyone was talking about this ball, planning and being a group I looked around. I was so happy with life. I have a wonderful village to protect, a wonderful Lord, beautiful friendships and the best love I could ever ask for from the most amazing guy. "What are you thinking about?" Garroth leaned over to me, noticing my shift in awareness.
"My life, our life. It's going so well. We're apart of a beautiful village with an amazing Lord and I have strong friendships and you." I looked to him and smiled.
He just simply smiled and squeezed my hand under the table. "I'm glad that you're ok."
"Me too."

After awhile breakfast was over and the day went by so calmly. It seemed as if everything was finally settling down. After how much craziness that's happened lately, it's refreshing to finally be able to breathe without a problem being right next to me.
Garroth and I were walking down the shoreline, holding hands looking at the vast skyline of water to our left. He stopped and pulled me to him. "You're amazing, you know that right?"
"I could say the same about you." I smiled and we swung our hands together back and forth.
"Yeah but you don't mean it like I do. You make life easy. You make everything so easy. Before you, life in O'Khasis was hell Anna. I want you to know that when you came into my life, it was everything I could've asked for. You're beautiful, inside and out. You've inspired me to become a better guard, and a better person. I only wish I could inspire you the same. You are my whole world and I there's no one else I would want to spend my life with." Garroth got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. My palms shot up to cover my gasp. "Will you marry me Anna?"
I nodded and he got up, hugging me and planting a soft, beautiful kiss on my lips, then slipping the gorgeous ring on my finger. "I love you."
"I love you too Anna."

Authors Note:
1) I figured that now would be a good time for him to propose because I'm working on figuring out a plot for the next couple of chapters and this is a good set up for an idea, plus they've been together since the Jury Days/ Chapter 3 so I don't think it's rushed?
2) With Aphmau redoing the series I think I'm going to stay with what I have until she gets further then if something important happens with the character development I'll start rewriting.
3) I want to go back and rewrite my earlier chapters because they are SO cringy but I think I'm going to wait on that for a little while longer until I have a set plan.
