"You're alive". Garrote doesn't let me go as Lo clears his throat. "Oh. Sorry. My name is Garroth."
"Lo."
They shake hands and seem to be mostly okay with each other. "So you're the famous Garroth Anna has been telling me about all these years." Garroth's eyes shoot towards me and I try to mask my worry.
"What do you mean? You've known Anna?"
"Yeah we've known each other for forever. She means everything to me. I try everything to keep her safe. When she fled O'Khasis I thought she was dead. Now she shows up and I find out she's alive. This girl is a walking miracle." Lo looks over and smiles.
"Miracle is an understatement. Anna is more than that by far." Garroth looks at me and the look in his eyes shows that I have to stop this now."
"Guys-" I interrupt, "Haley? Execution?"
"Right." We all head out in disguise and make it past any guards in our way. We go to Haley's normal room, planning to escort her out but she's gone, then we hear bells.

   We rush down to the scene of the sound. Haley is getting married. We all rush in and my helmet falls off.
  "STOP THE WEDDING." I scream as loud as I can. Tears dripping down my cheeks because I know what's next won't be pretty. Everyone else takes their helmets off and Garroth comes up next to me and grabs my hand. "Lord Haley isn't willing in this marriage! She's being forced into it!" My breath is heavy as Lord Jana sends guards after us. "Please let her speak!"
  Guards from every direction are coming at us and we're doing our best to fight it off. I hear Aphmau scream as she gets captured but eventually gets broken free. In that distraction I feel a sword go right though my stomach. I hear Haley, Aph and Lo scream. Then I hear the worst thing I could ever hear as I collapse, I hear two things; my boyfriend turning, and the Nether taking the last piece of my soul, leaving me a restless body for them to use.
   The pain is unbearable, but I let it take me. Lo is hovered over me screaming for me to come back. His face is red and so are his eyes. He gets up and screams running into the crowd, never to be seen again by me. I lay there on the ground and listen to the sound of the world fading out. I bring my hands up to my line of vision and watch my own blood drip from my palms.
   I hear more of Garroth's mutant screams as I close my eyes one more time...

   My head feels hazy as I wake up in a soft cotton bed.  I rub my eyes and look at what I can see. Most of the room is a mix of grey and red. I slowly sit up, realizing my mid section hurts more than I could imagine. "Hey Anna..." I look over and see him.

   I see Laurence....sitting in front of me, crying.

 
"Laurence?!" He nods and gives me a hug. He returns to his chair beside my bed and rests his hand on mine. "What happened?" He shrugged as emotions took him over.

"I got sucked back in. I can't ever come back." He smiles faintly.

   "Yeah you can, please."
   "It's not that easy Anna. I did something that causes me to be here forever." More tears come to his eyes.
   "What do you mean?"
   "I gave you my soul so you could live one more time. So now I'm trapped here. If I leave, I die..."
   I was shocked. He gave that up for me to live. "And its all my fault...."
   "No Anna. It was my choice to do it. I don't want you to suffer why I have to suffer through." He smiles again.
   "But..."
   "I'll be okay, just go back to sleep. I'll wake you up when you can go."
   "No." I grabbed his hand. "Stay here." I scooted over to make room for him. "I need the company." He smiles in an almost sympathetic way. He crawls in next to me and holds me, brushing my hair.
  "I wish I could come back. I wish I could keep you safe from here. I can't lose you."
  "What are you saying?"
   "You're like my best friend...I can't lose you.".
   "I can't lose you either~..." My voice started to slur as I drifted off.
